I woke up, pretty early this time since I had to pick Serj up from the airport. It's been so long since we last saw each other. He said he would text the other guys to hang out with us, I'm pretty sure he was too wasted and forgot.

I parked in front of airport entrance, looking Serj.

"Where you at Serj?" I texted. His plane might be delayed, or I might be early.

8:30 rolled round, no reply. His plane was suppose to land at 8:15.

"Where are you?" I texted again

"I'm at Johns house" He replied a few minutes later.

What the hell? Why's he at Johns house?

I replied with "I'm on my way" and drove off to Johns place.

Why would Serj just go to Johns without letting me know, he's not that kind of person. He usually would tell me before doing something like this, I really shouldn't be upset over it all, but this whole thing was a waste of time.

- Time Skip -

I parked my car in front of his house, Serj and John were sitting outside drinking coffee.

"Hey, thanks for leaving me at the airport" I glared at Serj.

"Sorry... I knew you wouldn't come on time, so I called John" Serj said sipping his coffee

"Then why bother telling me to come pick you up in the first place?" I said sitting down by John.

Serj shrugged. Of course.

"Calm down guys, we're all here, let's enjoy this time together" John said handing me a can of soda. I didn't really like "homemade" coffee. They all knew that.

"Shavo coming?" I asked

"Yeah, he's on his way" John said

I nodded once and sipped my drink.

"Anyways, we need go discuss what we are going to do this year as far as System" Serj said outta nowhere

"Maybe once Shavo gets here..." I replied looking at him

"How's your solo stuff going" John asked Serj.

"It's alright, it's really just something to distract me" Serj replied sipping his coffee

"What do you mean 'something to distract you'?" I said annoyed

"Well since we haven't been doing anything, I needed something to do"

"Serj, I hope you do realize that the reason we haven't done anything is because of you..."   I glared at him

John turned his head to the sound of a car door shutting, Shavo came into view putting his keys into his pocket, John stood up greeting him, I greeted him next. Serj just smiled and shook his hand.

"How's it going guys?" Shavo said sitting next to me.

"Eh, it's alright" I said

"Now that Shavos here..." John said signalling Serj

"Yes, um. We should start focusing on System stuff for a bit, everyone's deman-"

"They've been demanding since we released Hypnotize and Mezmerize" I finished losing my patience

"You sure?" Shavo said putting his hands up.

"Might as well... Since everyone's asking" Serj sighed

"We gotta be committed to working on something like this, we can't just say we're going to and then bail last minute" John replied

"I mean, I seriously do want to work on a new album, I don't know about you guys" I said fixing my hat.

"I've been wanting to work on something ever since our last releases. I can't really do anything with just bass. And I don't have the musical mentality of you guys" Shavo said gesturing towards Serj and I.

I don't know why Shavo was putting himself down like that, he was a better musician than Serj.

"I have some song ideas already" Serj said looking at John

"Great. We need at least 12 songs" John said rubbing his head

"We can do this" Serj said smiling

"Sounds good" Shavo and I said in unison
