"How could you let this happen?" Sunburst cried out, scared of what would happen next.

Gadget spent hours in her room, hacking into many systems, putting in her own article, making sure everyone saw it. Then finally it pinged up everywhere.

Jeff walked smugly into the main HQ building, strutting into the elevator. He pressed the button for floor 20, waited, crossed the hall and pressed for floor 40, the CEO's office. Bizzfood was going to go high up from his article on those two girls with weird water powers.
He went to the waiting room. Dorothy sat there with a stern, almost disappointed, face. Jeff sat down and Dorothy exclaimed 'She will be with you in a minute'
Suddenly, Jeff realised something bad was about to happen

"Gadget, status update?"

"Everyone on earth has seen my article, de bunking the article on coral and over flow, Sunburst!" Exclaimed a gleeful gadget

"Good. Over flow, I want you to call coral and get her to come here. Stay the night. Make sure to leave her parents at home and take a back way, the press will soon be hunting you two down, no matter how many articles go against it."  Sunburst ordered.

"But-"

"NO 'but' s anymore overflow! What you did could expose every one like us. They will hunt us down, and show us off or KILL us! Now, once Coral arrives, you two go hide in the panic room. I will deal with the press. Everyone close your windows and blinds. We are on lockdown."

"She will see you now"

Jeff gulped, and slowly made his way into the office.

"Good Evening, Jeff. Please, take a seat."
He stuttered, lost for words.

"Confused why you're here Jeff?"

"Uh-um-y yes miss I am confused, I thought my article was great..."

"Jeff, Jeff, Jeff. You should know that here at Bizz Food, we do NOT spread fake news or share edited photos."

"But it was real" Jeff stammered "I'm certain of it!"

"Sure Jeff, in a magical land where pigs fly and unicorns and mermaids and people with powers exist, it would be true. But we are in the REAL world now, Jeff, OK?"

"Y-yes.. ma'am"

" And I suggest you start looking for a new job, Jeff. Because you're FIRED!"

Jeff slowly walked back to his desk, packed up and left the building. Pix, who had now taken her wig off, smiled as she watched Jeff leave the building.

"That's for messing with my girlfriend" Pix whispered under her breath.
