Sesshomaru's POV___________

I've been flying for three days now. Still I can't find her. Shippo and Riri are asleep in my tail as I search for her nonstop.  I call out a series of yelps and howls, hoping for a reply. When I didn't get one, I woke up the kids. " You have to fly on your own now children, I'm going to try another way of looking for Akuma. " I told them, and flew ahead. I transformed into my demon form, (media for those who don't know*cough* Micah *cough* ) and bound through the air, searching wildly for my soon-to-be mate. Several moments later, which seemed like eons to me, I spotted Akuma chatting with a monk, taijiya, and... Kirara? Haven't seen her in a while. ' Forget the cat, go check on Mate! ' My Beast hollered at me. I ignored him and turned into my energy ball form, and gradually into my original form, tackling Akuma.

Akuma's POV____________

I woke up to, " Hurry up! Or I will seriously knock you out! " A girl said. Wait, I recognize that voice! Sango-chan! " No! I will not go and ap- Itaidesu! That hurt Lady Sango! " And the perverted monk. " HENTAI!! " Followed by the ringing echo of a slap caused several flocks of birds to disperse into the air, as well as alert demons of their presence. I smelled a scent I had not smelled in decades. A mixture of fire and magic. A cream and black, red-eyed, twin-tailed, saber-toothed demon cat jumped out of the brush. ' Hm, let's see how this turns out... ' I thought as my old friend snatched a mantis youkai out of the air before it could strike Sango-chan and Miroku. Sango-chan and Miroku stood shocked as a demon protected them from other demons. She roared, and the rest of the hostile demons fled. I jumped out of the tree I fell asleep in as Kirara changed into her kitten-like form. " See Miroku? Not all demons are evil! " Sango-chan said. " Hi! I just saved your lives! Can I have food? " Kirara asked.

Kirara saw me and jumped into my arms, " Akuma! Its been decades! Nearly half a century! Where have you been? I was so worried! And then Sess kicked out all of the felines, even me! How mean is that? " Kirara meowed. " Akuma-chan, I'm so, so sorry about my fia-friend! Please forgive me! " Sango-chan was on her knees. I laughed, " It's fine Sango-chan. " she let out a sigh of relief. I looked around for Miroku and he was sitting in the bushes, staring at some village girls that had taken up residence of the nearby hotsprings. " Just keep your pervert on a leash, a very short one at that. " I said. She realized what he was doing and got up to throw her Hiraikotsu at him, but I held her back. " Kirara, I want you to stay by Sango's side, and keep her perverted monk under control. " I said. She happily agreed and went off to scare Miroku away from the poor women. Me and Sango-chan laughed as Kirara chased Miroku around the clearing, spewing small flames.

Once our giggles subsided, I stretched out my bones, hearing satisfying pops, and howled long and low, hoping Sesshomaru was nearby. I heard a response, " Sesshou! I think Okaa-San is near! " and the beat of small wings. Then I was tackled by a large white demon dog that turned into Sesshomaru. " Where were you? What happened? I was so worried! Was it Naraku? Oh my Kami, are you all right? " an extremely worried Sesshou asked. " Calm down! I- " I was cut off by a thud. I giggled at the stunned dog demon. " Oops, here let me take that off of you. " I managed to get out between giggles. I took off the beads and wrapped them around my wrist for safe keeping. I smiled softly, " I was captured by Naraku, and helped these two escape. But I have an idea on how to control that slimy bastard. " Just as I finished that sentence, Riri and Shippo flew into the clearing.
