The background music was playing loudly.

"Stop the music!" Parth screamed thus the DJ stopped the music.

"Sanyukta what happened, tum gir kaise gayi?" Parth asked worriedly when she wincing in pain.

"Saree pahan kar dance floor pe aayegi toh giregi hi na! Maine toh pehle hi bola tha, such a middle class mentality!" Laila spat out some bitter words for Sanyukta.

"Will you please shut up!" Parth said to her irritatingly.

"Sanyukta bahut dard ho raha hai kya?" Parth asked, touching her ankle slightly when she let out another scream.

"Sorry sorry, main ice leke aata hu!" Parth said and rushed towards the bar for ice.

"I am sooo sorry Sanyukta. Wo kya hai na, 'maine pee rakhi hai...toh galti honi banti hai'!" Laila said and winked at Sanyukta.

"It's okay Laila, galti toh sab se hoti hai. Hai na wifey! Waise jyada chot toh nahi lagi na baby!" Randhir said and smirked at Sanyukta.

"Yeah sure!" She returned him the smirk with great difficulties. Parth came back with a bucket of full ice.

"Sanyukta kaha chot aayi hai dikhao! Lekin tum giri kaise?" Parth asked when Sanyukta kept mum. He took an ice cube and applied it on her ankle.

"Aauchhh..." She screamed again.

"Ohh shit, lagta hai phir se moch aayi hai! Hume doctor ke pass jana chahiye." Parth said examine her ankle.

"No I am fine, it's okay." She said slowly and tried to get up but couldn't because of her twisted ankle and about to fall when Randhir caught her.

"Be careful!" Parth said worriedly.

"Jab chal nahi sakti toh try kyun kar rahi ho?" Randhir said and lifted her up and made her sit on the couch.

"Randhir I think hume doctor ke pass jana chahiye. Sanyukta ko bahut jyada dard ho raha hai!" Parth said once again.

"Use iss ware mein drama karne se pehle sochna chahiye tha!" Randhir murmured under his breath.

"What?" Parth looked at him confusingly.

"Kuch nahi, I mean doctor kya treatment karega meri wife ki! Uski dard ka dava toh mere paas hai!" He smirked looking at Sanyukta who was trying to understand his intentions.

"Matlab?" Parth asked in confusion.

"Matlab! Matlab ye!" Randhir said and took his beer bottle and went towards Sanyukta and forcefully made her drink that.

"What the..." Sanyukta pushed him hard and wiped her mouth.

"What the hell is this Randhir?" She screamed when others were dumbstruck.

"Tumhari dard ka dava Sanyukta!" Randhir smiled his best. Sanyukta felt dizzy, her head was spinning, she held her head.

"Randhir, that was horrible! Sanyukta, are you fine?" Parth asked with concern when gave a weird look to Randhir.

"Mujhe ghar jana hai Parth." Sanyukta said slowly.

"Haan chalo." Parth said and looked at Randhir.

"Ab isse uthayega bhi ya wo bhi main karu!" He said irritatingly.

"Aare jab main hu toh meri biwi ko koi problem ho sakti hai bhala!" He said and picked up Sanyukta in his arms and proceeded towards the car.

Soon they reached home. Randhir carried Sanyukta in his arms when Parth followed them silently. Rehan noticed them first.

"Mom dekho chachi ko kya ho gaya!" Rehan said loudly thus everyone looked at the entrance.

"Aare Sanyukta kya hua?" Renuka and Anjali rushed towards them.

"Kuch nahi, dance karte waqt pau mein phir se moch aa gayi!" Randhir said normally and placed her on the couch.

"Sanyukta subha tumhari pau mein moch aayi thi na, aur shaam ko tum club mein jake dance karne lagi, wow!" Ragini mocked her.

"Ragini ye sab baatein baad mein karenge, pehle dekhne toh do chot kitni aayi hai!" Renuka said and started checking Sanyukta's ankle.

"Maine tum dono se kaha tha na use mat leke jau, ab dekha kya ho gaya!" Renuka glared at the duo when Randhir and Parth stood there numb.

"Aauchhh..." Sanyukta let out a scream.

"Bahut dard ho raha hai kya?" Renuka asked, looking at Sanyukta.

"Nahi mummy ji, I am fine, don't worry." And Renuka smelled alcohol, she looked at her surprisingly.

"Sanyukta tumne sharab pee hai!" Renuka asked shockingly, she was stunned.

"Nahi mummy ji, wo maine nahi..." Sanyukta tried to speak when Renuka stood up.

"Anjali zara dekh lena agar kisi ko kuch chahiye ho toh!" Anjali nodded positively, she was also shocked to see Sanyukta like that.

"Mummy ji..." Sanyukta called her but Renuka was about to go when Parth stopped her.

"Badi mom please naraz mat hona, wo club mein zabardasti Sanyukta ko thoda sa..." He stopped in the middle.

"Haan mom Sanyukta ki koi galti nahi hai." Randhir said slowly.

"Wo kya dudh piti bacchi hai jo koi uske saath jabardasti karega!" Renuka said coldly. Sanyukta's eyes were brimmed with tears hearing this when Randhir smirked inwardly.

"So how is it wifey? Tit for Tat!" Randhir said to Sanyukta and winked at her after placing her on the bed.

"Maine tum jaisa ghatiya insaan apne pure zindagi mein nahi dekha Randhir!" Sanyukta glared at him.

"Aur na kabhi dekhogi!" He smirked at her.

"Tumhari himmat kaise hui mujhe jabardasti sharab pilane ki!" She gritted her teeth.

"Aare wo toh tumhari dard kam karne ke liye sweetheart! Bahut dard ho raha hai kya?" He slowly touched her ankle.

"Don't touch me!" She tried to move her feet but winced in pain.

"Aare meri wife ko kitna dard ho raha hai!" He faked concern and caught her twisted ankle harshly thus she winced in pain again.

"Maine tum jaisa besharam insaan apni puri life mein nahi dekha! Tumhari wajah se mummy ji mujhse naraz ho gayi! Unhe lagta hai ki main galat hu, jab ke galat main nahi tum ho! Aur iss ke liye main tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karungi Randhir!" She hissed in anger.

"Tum hoti kaun ho mujhe maaf na karne wali! Maaf toh main tumhe nahi karunga Sanyukta! Tumne subha pau mein moch aane ka drama kiya, trip cancel karwaya, mujhse balm lagwaya aur toh aur mujhe mom ki daat bhi khilayi. Lekin hua kya aakhir mein mom ki nazron se tum hi gir gayi!" He groaned in front of her.

"Kyun khelti ho ye khel jis mein tum khud hi haar jati ho! Ab toh tumhe harne ki aadat daal leni chahiye!" He smirked at her when she glared at him hard.

"I think tum bhul gayi ke kaise maine tumse college mein huye apne insult ka badla liya tha! Kaise sabko tumhare against kar diya tha!" He said in an icy cold voice.

"Abhi bhi kuch nahi badla, abhi bhi maine tumhe tumhari hi game mein haara diya! So stop playing games and don't mess with me again otherwise you will definitely see the consequences Sanyukta!" He said clutching her cheeks tightly.

"Just leave me!" She tried to push him when he left her with a jerk.

"Don't touch me again you jerk, otherwise..." She couldn't complete it as she felt dizzy.

"Otherwise what! Jab utha kar laa raha tha tab toh koi problem nahi thi tumhe!" He said but she was not in a condition to respond, he noticed that.

"Soo jau, subha toh tumhe mom ko clarification bhi dena hoga na aaj shaam ki!" He smirked at her and went to the washroom avoiding her glare.

Sanyukta tried to get up but couldn't stand properly because of her twisted leg. She takes support of the bedside table and tries to walk but her leg is stuck in the carpet and she fall down on the floor. Her head came in contact with the corner of the table and as a result blood came out from her forehead. She winced in pain and held her wound with her palm. Just then Randhir came out from the washroom, he was surprised to see her like that.

"Ye kya circus kar rahi ho?" He taunted her when she tried to get up. He saw her blood drenched face and became shocked. She was trying hard to get up when he picked her up.

"Leave me." She started straggling when he placed her on the bed.

"Ek kaam thik se nahi kar sakti lekin ghusna har kaam mein hai!" He mocked her and brought the first aid box. He took some cotton and started wiping her blood when she jerked his hand.

"I don't need your help!" She said coldly.

"I don't want to help you either!" He replied back. Sanyukta takes the cotton and cleans her wound with antiseptic.

"Aahhhhh..." As she applied antiseptic she winced in pain. Tears started rolling down from her eyes.

"Jawlan ho rahi hai?" Randhir smirked looking at her tear drenched face.

"Ab iss ki aadat daal lo, kyun ki tumhe ab zindagi bhar jawlna hi padega!" He smirked when she kept mum.

"Kya hua chup kyun ho gayi! Uss din toh bahut badi badi baatein kar rahi thi ke mujhe sabak shikhayogi, mere family ko mere against kar dogi! Kya hua, itni jaldi haar maan liya? Waise bhi Randhir Singh Shekhawat ke samne tum jeet ki baat sirf kar sakti ho, lekin jeet nahi sakti! So better you mind it!" He smirked at her when she looked at him.

"Main haar nahi mani hu Randhir, baas irada thoda aur pakka ho gaya! Tumhare gharwale itne achchhe hai ki main confused ho gayi thi but thanks to you aaj tumne mera saara confusion dur kar diya. Ab dekho main kya karti hu, kaise jawab deti hu tumhare haar chal ki. You just wait and watch!" She said sternly when he looked at her confusingly.

As dawn appeared Randhir slowly opened his eyes. He saw Sanyukta was still in a deep slumber and an evil idea strike in his mind. He grinned devilishly and dashed downstairs.

"Good morning." Randhir said slowly as he spotted everyone at the breakfast table.

"Good morning chachu, chachi kaha hai?" Rehan asked, looking at the stairs.

"Umm...wo tumhari chachi abhi tak soo rahi hai." Randhir said, taking a seat beside Rehan.

"Lagta hai raat ki abhi tak utri nahi hai!" Arpita said in a teasing way, thus Renuka's face became stiff.

"Rehan zara apne chachi ko bula lao beta." Anjali said thus Rehan rushed to call Sanyukta.

"Arpita baccho ke samne soch samajh kar bola karo!" Anjali scolded her.

"Aur dusre jo bina soche samjhe kaam karte hai, uska kya bhabhi?" Arpita smirked looking at her.

"Ohh shut up Arpita. That was just an accident, issue banane ki jarurat nahi hai!" Parth said irritatingly.

"Hmm, waise ghar ki bahu peeke ghar aaye ye toh accident hi hai!" Ragini said in a sarcastic way.

"Apne papa ke samne tum log iss ware mein koi baat mat karna, samjhe?" Renuka said in a cold voice.

"But mom galat toh galat hi hai na, chahe aap use kitna bhi chhupa lo!" Ragini sounds annoyed.

"Main iss ware mein aur kuch sunna nahi chahti." Renuka said and got up.

"Hmm, toh ab kya explanation dogi mom ko Sanyukta! Mom tumse ab kabhi impress nahi hongi." Randhir thought and smirked inwardly. Just then Rehan came down by running.

"Mom...mom, wo chachi ko na fever hai, bahut tez." Rehan said thus everyone became shocked.

"Fever! Suddenly!" Anjali said worriedly when Renuka stopped doing her work.

"Fever kya notice deke aayega, chal kar dekho kitna hai!" Renuka said irritatingly and before Anjali said anything she left to check Sanyukta.

"102°C. High temperature hai mom." Anjali said to Renuka after checking Sanyukta's temperature.

"Sanyukta ko itni tez bukhar hai aur tujhe pata nahi chala Randhir?" Parth asked surprisingly when Randhir was shocked also.

"Mujhe kaise pata hoga, touch thodi na kiya tha usko!" He mumbled slowly.

"Randhir tumne kal raat kyun nahi bataya ke Sanyukta ko itni chot aayi hai? I think iss ki wajah se hi use itni tez bukhar aaya hai!" Anjali said when put a cotton cloth soaked in cold water on Sanyukta's forehead.

"Umm wo bhabhi main aap sab ko pareshan nahi karna chahta tha." Randhir said slowly.

"Pareshan nahi karna chahte thay, jaise ab hum bahut chain se hai! Baata dete toh kam se kam bimar toh nahi padti!" Renuka said angrily. Just then the doctor came and started examined Sanyukta who was still unconscious.

"Doctor, how is she? Anything serious?" Renuka asked worriedly.

"Maine injection de diya hai, aur ye medicines unke hosh mein aate hi de dijiye ga. Don't worry she will be fine." Doctor assured them.

"Wo doctor, Sanyukta ki ankle phir se twist ho gayi hai, please dekhiye." Renuka said slowly thus Randhir became surprised. As soon as the doctor touched her ankle, Sanyukta winced in pain.

"Hmm, chot kafi hai. Maine jo medicines diya hai wohi continue kijiye, agar dard phir bhi kam na ho toh phir ek X-Ray karwa lijiye ga." Said this doctor left.

"Anjali tum jau, baccho ko ready kar do, main Sanyukta ke pass hu." Renuka said thus Anjali left.

"Ab tum sab bhi bahar jau." Renuka said again, thus everyone came out.

"Sanyukta ko itni tez bukhar kab aaya, raat ko toh achchhi bhali thi!" Randhir was lost in his thoughts when Parth shook him.

"Don't worry, she will be fine." Parth assured him thus Randhir smiled a little.

Sanyukta felt a sharp pain in her head as she tried to open her eyes.

"Sanyukta ab kaisa feel kar rahi ho?" Sanyukta opened her eyes and saw Anjali in front of her.

"Sanyukta ab kaisa feel ho raha hai?" Anjali asked again.

"Saad mein bahut dard ho raha hai bhabhi." Sanyukta replied slowly.

Just then she felt a warm touch on her forehead. She turned her face slowly and saw Renuka on the other side of the bed.

"Hmm, abhi fever nahi hai." Renuka said and was about to get up when Sanyukta caught her finger.

"Maa..." Sanyukta called Renuka clutching her finger tightly.

"Abhi medicines bhi leni hai toh main jake breakfast leke aati hu." Renuka said and left the room after freeing her finger.

"Mummy ji abhi tak naraz hai bhabhi?" Sanyukta asked slowly.

"Koi nahi, sab kuch thik ho jayega. Tum thoda sa pani pee lo." Anjali said and made her drink some water. Renuka came back soon with a bowl of soup.

"Laiye mom main khila deti hu." Anjali said and started feeding Sanyukta when Renuka applied balm on her ankle.

"Mummy ji aap rehne dijiye please." Sanyukta said when trying to move her leg but again winced in pain.

"Anjali isse kaho ke chup chap leti rahe, agar meri itni hi parwa hoti toh yun sharab peeke nahi aati!" Renuka said coldly thus Sanyukta kept mum.

"Bass bhabhi aur nahi peena, mann nahi hai." Sanyukta said after gulping some soup.

"Anjali isse kaho ke apni mann ki toh kar hi chuki hai aab thoda doctor ki baat bhi sun le." Renuka said when tying the crepe bandage on her ankle.

Sanyukta took the soup without wasting a word when Renuka popped some tablets and gave them to her. Sanyukta gulped them down without uttering a word.

"Aap logo ne breakfast kiya?" Sanyukta asked slowly.

"Anjali isse kaho apna care karne ki, hum apna dhyan rakh sakte hai. Doctor ne rest karne ko kaha hai. Khud bhi chain se jiye aur mujhe bhi chain se jeene de!" Saying this Renuka left.

"Mummy ji ne abhi tak mujhe maaf nahi kiya na?" Sanyukta gulped hard.

"Mom is too upset, Sanyukta. Please give her some time, she will be fine." Anjali said slowly.

"But now you take a rest. I'll be back soon, okay?" Anjali smiled brightly and left too.

"Mummy ji apne bhi mujhe galat samjha, jaise meri maa ne samjha tha! Lekin ab bas aur nahi, ek maa ko toh kho chuki hu lekin main aap ko nahi kho sakti. Ab main chain se tabhi baithungi jab main apne aap ko innocent prove karungi. Iss baar main Randhir ko jeetne nahi dungi, kabhi nahi!" She murmured under her breath and closed her eyes slowly as slumber took over her senses.
