The next morning found Kara waking up to find she was naked in a bed that definitely was not her own and she smiled when she realized that not only was this not her bed, but she wasn't alone, especially after all the details from last night came back to her as she rolled over to find an equally naked Lena Luthor lying next to her, still fast asleep and Kara couldn't help but smile as she saw how peaceful Lena looked while she slept and how beautiful she was in general. Kara had honestly forgotten what it was like to wake up in bed with someone next to her and she had to admit, she did enjoy the feeling. And she was also asking herself why she'd waited so long to act on her feelings for Lena. But then she decided not to focus on that and rather turn her attention to the future. A future that would hopefully involve a lot more mornings like this one.

"You know, I can feel you checking me out." Lena said without opening her eyes, though there was a smile on her face as Kara instinctively made sure that the sheets were covering everything, despite what she and Lena had done last night.

"Can you blame me considering how beautiful you are? Though I would like to see those eyes of yours." Kara said.

"And what will you give me in exchange?" Lena asked, still smirking with her eyes closed and Kara smiled as she proceeded to move and press her lips against Lena's, who smiled and after Kara pulled away, finally opened her eyes.

"Morning." Lena said as she smiled at her lover.

"Morning. How did you sleep?" Kara asked as she laid back down and snuggled up close to Lena, who quickly wrapped her arm around Kara's shoulders.

"Best night's sleep I've had in years." Lena said and Kara could that it wasn't just because Lena had been physically exhausted from last night's activities.

"Same here. I still can't believe that we did that." Kara said as Lena rolled over to face her.

"You don't have any regret about what we did last night do you?" Lena asked and Kara shook her head.

"The only regret I have is that we took so long to get to this point." Kara said.

"On that we agree." Lena said as she stroked Kara's face.

"I have to admit, I thought that you'd be rushing out of here to go get ready for work." Lena admitted, though she wasn't complaining, since it meant she got to hold the love of her life in her arms for a little while longer.

"Perks of super speed. I can spend a little more time here before I need to get to my apartment and get ready for work." Kara said, only to notice the look on Lena's face.

"What did you do?" Kara asked.

"I may have asked Alex to drop a few of your outfits off here while we were out last night, just in case we got to this point." Lena said a bit sheepishly.

"Wow, you really were preparing for the best." Kara said teasingly as she kissed Lena again.

"Relax, it's not like I'm clearing out space for you to move in yet, since I think we can both agree that it's too soon for that." Lena said and Kara nodded in agreement, though she could definitely see them getting to that step in the future.

"Anyways, I was thinking that barring anything that warrants Supergirl's attention, maybe we could have just a regular movie night at your place tonight so that Krypto can start to get used to me?" Lena asked and Kara smiled.

"Sounds good to me." Kara agreed as she saw the time.

"I really do need to go shower and get ready for work." Kara said.

"Maybe I should buy Catco again just so I can control your schedule." Lena grumbled since she was not happy about having to let Kara leave.

"You're gonna have to wait for Cat to be named press secretary again for that to happen." Kara told her regrettably before smiling.

"But, last time I checked, your shower is big enough for two." Kara said with a smile, which Lena shared as she allowed Kara pull her out of bed and lead her towards the bathroom.

"Well, you certainly look like you had fun last night." Nia said to Kara when she arrived at Catco later on that morning.

"I already had to threaten Alex when I stopped at my place to pick up my watch from her and check on Krypto, don't make me threaten to put you on ice too." Kara said, though there was no denying that she was in a good mood.

"Seriously Kara, I have never seen you this happy before. Clearly you and Lena should've gotten together a long time ago." Nia said, still smirking at her boss.

"Trust me, if I'd told her my secret sooner, we probably would've." Kara said.

"But you still look apprehensive. What's going on?" Nia asked her.

"It's just, every time I have something this good in my life, I end up losing it. My aunt, my relationship with Mon-El, even my friendship with Lena." Kara said and Nia nodded.

"I get it, but remember, new world means a new chance." Nia said.

"I know. That's why I'm so optimistic. But seriously, do not give me a hard time about this, since I am your boss." Kara said.

"No promises." Nia said, since she'd never seen Kara in a relationship before and she had to admit, it was nice to see how Kara was somehow even happier than she usually was and that was saying something.

Meanwhile, at L-Corp, while Lena was busy focusing on her work, she had no idea that she was being watched.

Astra In-Ze was currently hovering covertly in National City City, keeping a close eye on the woman her beloved niece seemed to have developed feelings for, not that Astra was surprised, since before she'd been arrested, she'd always suspected where her niece's attractions lie, but that wasn't what concerned her. What concerned her was that the woman Kara seemed to be having relations with was the sister of one of Kal-El's most dangerous enemies, since unlike most of her army, she did keep track on the events of the human world and she knew that Lex Luthor could pose a significant threat to their plans if Kal-El hadn't locked him up in prison.

"What are you doing?" a familiar voice asked and Astra turned to see her husband Non floating up to him.

"Nothing that concerns you, Non." Astra said distastefully, since her marriage to Non had been arranged, not her choice and it was something she detested her parents for.

"You're not considering tipping your niece are you? Kal-El is of no concern since he should be affected by Myriad like everyone else, but your niece could be a problem." Non said.

"If you touch her I will kill you." Astra said.

"You cannot allow your emotions to cloud your judgment." Non said.

"I will not allow this world that my niece calls home to face the same fate as Krypton. But she will not be harmed. I will not tell you that again. Lieutenant." Astra said.

"Very well." Non said as he flew off and that was when Astra knew that she couldn't take it anymore. Non had been trying to control her for years, ever since they got married. He was the reason she'd turned against her sister and lost precious time with her niece. He'd ruined her life and she was done with him. She knew what she had to do, which was why she also flew off, but not to join Non at Fort Rozz, but she was heading for the DEO to start making amends for her actions.
