"Where are we headed?" Anissa asked her father, eager to finally get back in the field as Thunder.

"Now that you're back in the game, I figure it's time to take care of a problem in Freeland that we've been ignoring for too long." Jefferson asked as he suited as Black Lightning and Anissa did the same thing as Thunder. She seriously loved her new suit and she saw that Gambi had even built her a new motorcycle to match her suit's new color and with the larger funding he'd gotten from Argus, he'd promised that it included some new toys, not that he'd had a chance to show her them yet.

"And that would be?" Thunder asked as she got on her bike.

"Looker. The hateful racist woman who's basically reinstated segregation in South Freeland." Black Lightning and Thunder grinned as she remembered.

"The Perdi and the Sange." Thunder remembered, having helped a Perdi woman give birth and remembering Looker. Honestly, she was really happy that her first mission back as Thunder was taking that bitch down.

"Plus your mother thinks she can use Looker's silver element to help stabilize the pod kids." Black Lightning said.

"And how do we know that she won't try to turn us into her puppets?" Thunder asked, even though they both knew the answer.

"Because there's no way in hell that woman would ever want her precious silver in a black person." Black Lightning said.

"Just another reason I'm gonna enjoy that bitch in the face." Thunder said and Black Lightning chuckled as they headed out.

"Gambi, what do you have for us?" Black Lightning asked as he and Thunder headed towards South Freeland.

"Not much. Just like in the old reality, both the Perdi and the Sange live pretty off the grid to avoid being tracked." Gambi said over the comms.

"Wait, from what I remember, the Sange were also involved in some illegal weapons dealing while the Perdi dealt with illegal weed and I know which one I'd rather take down." Thunder said.

"Just don't tell your sister, she doesn't need her own connection for that." Black Lightning said and Thunder chuckled.

"Copy that. But let's get back to business. You look for the Sange, I'm gonna go check to see if the Perdi farm is in the same place it was in the old reality and if it is, see if they know anything that can help us find the Sange." Thunder said and Black Lightning could hear the anger in her voice.

"There's a reason you're going for the Perdi and not the Sange right now isn't there?" he asked his daughter.

"I'm less likely to do something I may or may not regret around the Perdi, since the idea of the Sange and what Looker made them into disgusts me. She's a despicable human being, even for the South." Thunder said.

"I appreciate that you recognize how angry you are with her. It shows growth. Which is why you're not confronting her without me there to talk you down." Black Lightning said.

"Agreed. And while it may not be as personal as your hatred of Tobias Whale is, I think I found my own archenemy." Thunder said.

"I'll allow it, since you're not the only one who's angry at what Looker has done. Check on the Perdi, make sure they're secure and see if they have any ideas on where to find Looker. Gambi and I will keep searching for the Sange, since they're a more direct link. Once Looker is secured, I'll call in Lyla to take her into Argus custody." Black Lightning said and Thunder nodded in agreement.
