Fire & Lightning

By morning, both of Raiden and Jewels clothes were gone.  One blamed the other for the indecent behavior.

"How did YOUR clothes come off? The questions should be how did MY clothes come off! You're the pervert!" Jewels said back. "You're the one who insisted on sleeping in the same bed! You're also the one who holds me when we sleep, not the other way around. So of course it must be you who took off both of our clothes!"

"You're the one who kissed me first, if I recall correctly." Raiden shot back. "And who here is an exhibitionist? Who here gave me release in the lake?"

"Hey, I wasn't the only one who was naked at the lake," She reminded him.  "And that'll be the last time you get any release from me!"

Raiden's eyes burned with silent fury at her last statement.

"We'll see about that."  Raiden's said as he pinned her down on the bed. The blanket that they shared last night had been thrown away from them as Raiden made his move.  Holding Jewels hand above her  head he kissed her hard.  Wanting her to take back what she just said.  She had to take responsibility for all of her illicit act against him.  For some reason, it has been Jewels's touch that could calm the raging fire within his veins. 

When Raiden woke up after killing the platoon after his kidnapping and torture.  He found out that he had been in a high fever for two weeks. His body burned high and no one could help cure him. All they could do was watch him and make sure his temperature was kept down.  When he woke, that fire stayed within his veins. It would have been a great asset if he was a fire base energy cultivator, however Raiden is the first lightning base energy cultivator.  Over the years, he had learned how to tolerate the fire in his veins.  He learned how to use the fire in his veins to cultivate and strengthen his lightning powers within him. 

When Jewels first touched him, he felt the cool breeze for the first time in 20 years. He became excited and held on to her after their first kiss, enjoying the cool breeze.  When she left, the burning  fire came back and he had to see her again to make sure she was the reason why it went away.  When he confirmed it, he was resolute in his decision to make her his by hook or crook. The first night they spent together had been the first night he slept peacefully since the incident.  And when she used the denial of sex against their morning banter he lost his reasoning and wanted her to feel as if she needed him just as much as he needed her. 

His kisses drove her mad with crazy.  He pressed against her just enough to tease but not give in to her.  With one hand holding on to her hands above her head, the other explored her body.  His hand alternated between soft and light touches to hard and fast caresses.  Soon her body wriggled, wanting more. 

When their kiss broke, Raiden's hand reached the valley between her legs.

"Do you want release?" He asks.

"You're cruel." Jewels told him.

"It's a simple answer to a simple question.  Yes or no?"

Opening up her legs for him, he quickly took the opportunity to part her legs with his and his hand cupped her. 

He took his time learning what made her moan and what made her frustrated.  His fingers played with her until her panting became harsh and she pleaded for release.   Staring into her eyes, he saw how they lit up as she reached her climax, he vowed never to let her go from his side. 

Kissing her soft body, he worshiped her body from her head to her toes. She relaxed as Raiden too his time memorizing each curve and bend on her body.  When he reached the valley between her legs, he also took time to worship her there. 

After she cried out his name did he stop his mouth and fingers that lied between her legs.  Her heavy lid eyes slowly closed as she saw Raiden move up her body and kissed her lips lightly, tucking her head on his shoulder and telling her to sleep. 

When she woke up again, she was alone in her bed.  The place where he slept was cold and her chest felt a slight stuffy feeling.  She didn't want to think why Raiden not being there when she woke up made her chest hurt.

So instead she got up to start her day. She wanted to check in on her Uncle's progress and see her Pop pop again before secluding herself in Docs house to make her prescription to help her breakthrough her bottle neck. 

Reaching Uncle's rooms, she announced her presence to her Uncle and found him in his bedroom with Thomas. Uncle Jude stood up and took small steps without the help of the beams or Thomas, Jewels heart swelled.  She knew Jemma would be happy to see this.  It was with the knowledge of Jemma's memories and her kind nature that led Julianna to help Uncle Jude.  Although it had only been six steps, Uncle Jude walked from his wheelchair into Jewels arms.  Hugging each other tightly, they cried silent tears not letting each other see the tears themselves.  Wiping the tears away, Jewels replaced the tearful face with a happy one and helped Thomas sit him down in his wheelchair. 

"Uncle Jude, I'm so proud of you!"  Jewels said as she crouched down checking his legs and its muscle mass.  "We need to keep building up your muscles and keep on stretching your legs as well.  Remember not to over work them."

"Anything that my niece orders, this Uncle will follow through." 

Pop pop enters in to the bedroom and jumps into Uncle Jude's bed as Zeze closes the door behind her she put a soundless barrier around the room so they can have a private conversation.  After telling them about Doku's prescription to help her breakthrough and her adventures at Mirror Lake, leaving personal information out, Pop pop's eyes lit up excitedly and pointed at her arm.  Walking towards the bed and sitting next to Pop pop, she holds her hand out and let's Pop pop look and analyze the bracer. 

"Infinite Galaxy."  Pop pop said without Jewels telling him what its name was.  She purposely did not tell them about her run in with Amelia and her untimely demise by Jewels's hand. 

"What is it?" 

"Power." Pop pop said.  "Infinite power." 

"What kind of infinite power? " Zeze asked worriedly.

Shaking his head no, he starts to mumble about old journals and books. 

"For now let's keep your bracer hidden with long sleeves.  Let's not invite trouble if we can avoid it."  Uncle said. 

"And now that you have the ingredients for your prescription, I'm guessing that's why you'll be be at Docs house?"

"Yes, I will be there.  I would appreciate it if no one disturbs me.  I don't know how long it will take so unless it is an emergency, I cannot be disturbed or else my breakthrough will be for naught. Roku will guard the door to Docs house, I'm going to ask Raiden for a second guard to help out as well."

After they told her about their last two days, she was glad she was out of the house.  After she left, ten maids and ten butlers helped Raiden's maids clean and haul new furniture from the main house over. All the rooms that were needed for Raiden and his servants were prepared within a couple of hours.  After the servants left they all thought that it would be the end of them seeing the main family branch, however Lindsay sent one of her maids to talk to Zeze and try to get the maid into the left wing.  Zeze turned the maid down quickly however the maid was not able to take no for an answer and caused a fight with Zeze.  Luckily Raiden's other two maids saw what was happening and chases the maid away before Raiden came home.  Later on that evening during dinner with Raiden, Uncle Jude and Pop pop, The same maid entered the left wing again trying to get into Raiden's good graces.  Raiden's bodyguard dragged her out of the house and brought her into the main house, declaring her crime in front of the whole family and staff and killed her on the spot.  With Raiden's earlier warning to them, the Brooks Manor was not able to say anything about the killing. Since then, everyone in the main house have kept to themselves. 

However yesterday, Lindsay found out that Jewels did not come home as well as Raiden and stopped by to chat with Uncle Jude about the inappropriate behavior the Jewels was exhibiting.  Not caring for Lindsay's contradictory  words he dismisses her and while she left she promised to come back today to give Jewels a lecture. 

Jewels rolling her eyes, she bids her family goodbye and heads towards Docs house.

"Roku, is there another shadow bodyguard on me that I do not know about?" Jewels asks.

"Why does my Lady ask." Roku questioned.

"I need an ingredient from Master Doku and he said he'll give it to me when I needed it.  The time has come for me to use it." Jewels told him. 

With out saying a word Roku, orders San to go to Master Doku house to get Lady Jewels herb.  San quickly leaves and within 15 minutes, San comes back to give her the Greenbells herb.  She quickly thanks him and continue on their way to Docs place.

"I am about to prepare some medicine to help me with my breakthrough, I need total and complete privacy and concentration.  I want you to guard the door Roku and I just need another set of eyes to make sure I am not disturbed.  I already told my family that about this and told them the only reason to disturb me is if Docs house is on fire or there is a family medical emergency." 

"I can have Sunny and Mary come and be extra eyes for you," Roku said.

"Which ones which?" Jewels inquired.

"Sunny's the blonde and Mary is the brunette."

"Do you think that will be okay?" 

"Of course, you now belong to Master. Anything you need will be at your disposal.  Prince Raiden has made it known many times to us that what is his, is yours also."

"Thank you Roku, I would love to have Sunny and Mary be extra eyes for me while I'm in Docs house.  And remember, under no circumstance am I should be disturbed."

"Yes, my Lady." Roku said.

When Jewels entered Docs house, she immediately went to the refining room.  Using the small caldron, she first fills it up with water and sets it over the fire. While waiting for the water to boil, she prepares the ingredients per her Master's instructions. She first washed then soaked five stalks of the  Theraroot in cold water. The Greenbells herb was dried, so she did not need to prepare it.  Cutting the Valewwort in half, Jewels intended to use only half of the Valewort and try to study the other half by planting it in a fish tank and try to grow her very own Valewort herb.  If she could do that, she could make a fortune off selling a sliver of it at a time. 

Jewels threw in the common herbs first, letting them boil together first. Afterwards she added the Greenbells herb and the Theraroot herb. Carefully stirring it, she takes the cauldron off the fire and placed the Valewort in a mortar and starts to grind the Valeroot with the pestle. Once the Valewort was crushed it turned into a paste like substance. Scooping out the paste into a small bowl, she ladles out the herbal concoction into the bowl. Stirring the bowl with a spoon, the liquid turned orange. Taking a deep breath, Jewels drinks the herbal concoction. Although it tasted disgusting, she gulped the whole bowl down.

Jewels moved herself to the middle of the refining room, where she closed her eyes and sat in a lotus position. She could feel the medicine coarse through her body, her veins opened up and her daitians glowed. Jewels started to gather energy from her surroundings and pulled the energy into her body. Her opened veins thickened and energy flowed faster and faster. Her dantians swirled around in circles building up more power.

Jewels sat there gathering and storing energy for a long time before Jewels felt her body burn hotter than she ever felt before. From the top of her head to the bottom of her toes, she felt as if she was on fire. Her body grew hotter and hotter. Jewels could hear her bones start cracking as if it was being broken, but she did not stop cultivating to look. If she lost her concentration, everything would be lost and she would have to start all over again.

The sounds of thunder came closer and closer to Jewels location, then suddenly without warning, lighting struck Doc's house. Not just one lighting bolt, but three, all in succession, one mightier than the next. The lightning broke through the ceiling and struck Jewels three times.

Roku saw the lightning bolt and was too stunned to react. It wasn't until the third strike that Roku realized that something was wrong and the Jewels life was in danger. No one survives three strikes of lighting back to back, she would be cooked alive.

Entering the house, he went straight back to the refining room and stopped in his tracks. There sat Jewels still in the Lotus position, her eyes closed and aura tranquil. Not a stitch of clothing and hair out of place. Silently turning around and walking back out the house, when he reached the door, Lady Lindsay and two of her maids walking towards the Doctors house.

Closing the door tightly and placing a soundless barrier around the house, Roku stood in front of the door with his arms crossed over his chest.

"What brings Lady Lindsay to Docs house?" Roku asks her as they came up to Roku.

"Get out of my way." Lindsay ordered him.

"This servant of Prince Raiden and Lady Jewels shall not." Roku said stubbornly.

"Get out of my way or else!" Lindsay warned.

Raising an eyebrow, Roku said. "Or else what?"

No servant has every questioned Lindsay before. The audacity of the servant in front of her made her even more mad. When she learned that Jewels and Prince Raiden shared the same bed last night, she tore her room apart in rage. She could not believe her slut of a sister could seduce the Prince of Redbane. The only person who should be in his bed is her. Only she is worthy of Prince Raiden not Jewels.

"You are Prince Raiden's servant so I will forgive you for this first offense. Step aside and let me pass or you will regret your actions. I will not forgive you a second time." Lindsay warned him.

"Lady Lindsay should turn around and leave the way Lady came. This servant is under strict instructions not to let anyone pass. Should Lady Lindsay need medical supplies for medical attention, this servant will send word for a doctor to help you. If Lady Lindsay does not need any medical supplies or attention, this servant advises Lady Lindsay that should she insist to enter Docs house and disturb Lady Jewels, this servant will take all measures given to this servant to ensure the safety and security of Prince Raiden's golden gift." Roku told her.

Not willing to let Jewels win in anything, she questioned Roku. "What is she doing in there that no one can enter?"

Roku did not answer her. It was none of Lady Lindsay's business what Lady Jewels did or did not do in Docs house.

When Roku ignored Lindsay, she grew even more mad and started shouting.

"You slut! Who are you to bard the door? Who are you to order Prince Raiden's people to do your bidding! You're nothing but a good for nothing trash! You're a waste of space and once you come out here, I will teach you a lesson! I will kill you and make sure you will never have the chance to disgrace the Brooks name ever again!"

"Lady Lindsay, this servant suggest you stop yelling." Roku started saying before he was interrupted.

"How dare you tell me what I should do! I'm the Second Young Miss of the Brooks family! I can do what ever I want! We are on Brooks Manor! You are guests here, under the graciousness of my father! You can't tell me what I can and cannot do!"

"Lady Jewels will not be able to hear you, for there is a soundless barrier surrounding the house." Roku informed her.

"Oh." Lindsay said looking more irritated. "Rachel! Rochelle! Go around the house and try to find another way in. When you do, break in and drag that despicable trash out to me!"

Bowing to their mistress orders, Rachel and Rochelle split up and makes their way around Docs house on opposite sides. Watching their body's disappear around the corner, Lindsay smiles wickedly thinking that she would get what she came here for. She was ready to beat Jewels within an inch of her life and then kill her in front of Prince Raiden to let him know how weak Jewels is and how strong she is. She wanted to let Jewels know just exactly where her position in life is and wanted her to learn that she shouldn't reach for something that would never be hers. Lindsay waited and waited and when her maids did not come back, she knew something was wrong. Just when she was going to investigate what happened to them, she saw her two maids being dragged by Prince Raiden's two maids.

"Roku, we found poisonous snakes in the bushes and killed them." Sunny said with a innocent smile on her face.

"How dare you kill my maids!" Lindsay yelled at them.

"Oh? These are your maids?" Mary asked playing dumb. "Then we shall return to you what's yours."

Dragging them in front of Lindsay, they drop them and stepped away standing next to Roku.

"This servant did not know that Lady Lindsay has poisonous snakes as pets." Mary said as she bowed her head. "Had we known these snakes belonged to Lady Lindsay, we would have captured them instead."

Snaring at them, Lindsay lost her composure. She has now lost three maids under her service. The maids who served her were trained for years to become a maid and her bodyguard. They were not someone who could be easily beaten, let alone killed.

"You will be punished for killing a Madewell subject! I will tell my father and he will not let you go! You all will die!" Lindsay screamed.

"What is all this commotion here?" Uncle Jude said from behind Lindsay.

Lindsay turns around and points at her dead maids.

"Uncle Jude, they killed my servants! My maid didn't even do anything and they killed them!" Lindsay proclaimed.

"Lindsay, go back to your room and I'll have someone clean this mess up. I'll talk to Prince Raiden about his servants and they'll be punished according to Redbane law."

"But--" Lindsay interjected.

"No, buts! Have you forgotten about the 4 Kingdom peace talk in 3 months time? Any offense made today will be held against the Brooks Manor and your father will be the one to deal with it. Your father already has enough to deal with. If Prince Raiden finds fault in his stay here at Brooks Manor, your father will hear about it at the peace talks and Madewell Kingdom will have to pay for it. Are you willing to incure Prince Raiden's wrath let a lone your father's wrath as well? Do you think you'll be able to pacify both of them? I do not think your maids are innocent for Prince Raiden's people to take measures into their own hands and kill your maids. But if you feel as if the cause of their death was unjust, by all means, tell your father and he will make a big deal out of it now, however Prince Raiden will make it a bigger deal during the peace talks and we will lose more than we will be able to afford. It's your decision. "

After taking a moment to think things through, she stomped her foot and sat down on the pathway pouting and fuming.

"Why are you not going to your room yet?" Uncle Jude asks.

"I'm going to wait until that slut comes out and I'll make her pay causing the deaths of my maids!" Lindsay said.

"How is it Jewels fault?" Uncle Jude asks.

"If she didn't order Prince Raiden's servants to block the way then they wouldn't of killed my servants!"

"If you insist to bully Jewels, I will not forgive you." Uncle Jude told her.

"Jewels? Who's Jewels? There's only trash that I see." Lindsay told him. "And I'm just cleaning up the trash."

Not wanting to argue with an irrational person, Jude looks up to Roku and Roku nods his head. Knowing that Roku has the situation under control, with the help of Thomas, pushes Uncle Jude back to the left wing of the manor.

The sun set and the moon rose yet Jewels still did not come out from Docs house. Lindsay still sat where Uncle Jude last left her and while her stomach have been growling for the past few hours, her stubborn nature would not let herself go back into the manor. Even her sister, Maria and her step mother Lana came by to coax her back inside, yet she still denied them and kept sitting. The night grew darker and longer and Lindsay's heavy lided eyes and swaying body kept her up the whole night. When morning broke and Jewels still did not come out, she sat up straigter and became more determined to catch Jewels as she came out the doors and kill her without mercy. The day passed without any change and when dinner came around again, Maria and Lana came to take her back to the house. When she denied them again, they walked back swearing curses at Jewels for making Lindsay act a fool. The night came again, the moon shining and the wind blew a cool breeze. Lindsay's swaying body finally fell to the side and she fell asleep.

The singing of birds woke Lindsay up. The sun had just rose when she realize where she was. Coming back to her senses, she sat up and looked at Docs house. The people that she expected to be there was no longer there. Getting up quickly she runs to the house and opens the door, making her way to the back of the house she did not see anyone. She then made her way upstairs, however there were also no signs of living anywhere.

"I'm going to kill that trash!" Lindsay said as she ran to the left wing. Storming into the left wing unannouced, she walks to the dining room and stops short. Prince Raiden was sitting next to Jewels and he was feeding her breakfast from his plate. Jewels had a face of annoyance but still opened her mouth to eat off his fork that was next to her mouth.

"Lindsay," Uncle Jude said. "What brings you here to the left wing?"

"I just need to talk to Jemma for a bit." Lindsay said with a smile on her face.
