Scourge woke up and saw that her mother and litter-mates were outside. Scourge padded up to her mother and watched as she trained Sun and Shadow. "Can I train Mom?" She asked but her mother didn't notise she was to busy focusing on her other prized kits. Scourge padded over to a tree in the yard and laid down. She sighed "I think she's starting to favor them.." She muttered as she watched from the shade of the tree. A voice sounded from beside her. "They always favor the big kits over the runts." he looked over to see Scourge sitting there watching her mother as she trained her litter-mates. "You want to train? I'll train you. But we'll do things a... Better way." He said turning and walking over to the outskirts of the fenced in yard. She fallowed him. he gazed down at her his eyes narrowed "Alright runt-" She growled "Don't call me runt!" he smiled "Good you don't have to take anything from anyone. In fact anyone foolish enough took call you runt deserves a hard blow." She gazed up at him "Hit me." He growled. she lifted a paw and hit his leg with all her might which... wasn't that hard. When he didn't do anything she whacked him again. "Pathetic well... I guess your still a kit so.. you've got a lot of work ahead of you." She sighed and looked up at him her blue eyes shine with Determination "I don't care I will fulfill my destiny!" She growled. He nodded "Good for the rest of the day we will be sharpening your claws." She tilted her head in confusion. He padded up to the tree she was sitting by earlier and sharpened his claws then sat down. "You'll do that until your paws bleed." He growled. She obeyed and started gaining sharper claws. it was evening when he returned to her and said "You may be done." She dropped to her side heaving her paws were bright red. He examend her claws which were alot sharper then before "Good. Tomarow we'll work on tree climbing." She heaved herself inside to tired to eat she slept soundly that night.
