Natsu's P.O.V

We start walking over to the other side of the field where Gajeel and Levy were.

"Hey guys!" Levy yells as she waves her hand in the air.

Lucy runs up to Levy and gives her a hug. "Hey! So how'd you do in your realm?"

"Well I would've gotten them all, but the boss at the end was a bit much." She explains. "Every time I wrote an element using solid script magic, it would just use the exact opposite."

As Lucy, Levy and the others talk about the realms, I start to hear a rustling in the bushes near us. I turn my head towards the noise and it then stops, though I can't help but feel a little suspicious.

Right as I turn my head back, the rustling noise returns, and with a swoosh, a sword comes hurdling towards Lucy.

"Luce look out!" I tackle her down and the sword flies past us. Everybody is left shocked and confused.

"What the hell?" I yell to no one in particular.

"Lu-chan! Are you okay!?" Levy yells with concern.

"I'm fine, it just cut my arm a bit." Lucy says while I help her up. "Thanks Natsu, that could've been a lot worse."

We all look towards the bushes. No one, not even a sound comes out from them.

"Alright, who the hell did that?!" Gray yells. "Show yourself!"

"Oh darn." A feminine voice is heard behind us. We all turn to the voice to see a girl with dark hair and a blonde guy wearing school uniforms of Sabertooth Academy.

"I really thought that would have killed the girl." She says with a fake pout as she starts to walk towards us. "I'm Minerva Orland of Sabertooth Academy and this is Sting Eucliffe."

"Don't act so casual after what you just did! What do you want with Lucy?!" Juvia yells.

"Well." She starts to smirk. "We heard that Lucy Heartfilia and Natsu Dragneel of Fairy Tail Academy are most likely going to be chosen for the FMR. Sooo, we decided to do some fairy Hunting."

I start to glare daggers at her. "You guys won't get away with this!" Hate and anger fills my voice.

"If you even try to tell Makarov about this then we'll make sure you both are dead before they can even choose who goes into the FMR." Sting says.

I let my anger take control and run up to punch the blonde freak. Just as I'm about to, a hand stops me.

"Nah man." Gajeel says while glaring at Sting. "These jerks ain't worth our time."

"Yeah just let 'em go. We can settle this by winning the FMR." Lucy says, glaring at them as well.

Just as things were about to end, we hear yelling and someone running our way.

"What's going on here!?"

"Oh, well if it isn't Erza Scarlet, queen of the fairies" Minerva says.

"Erza!? What are you doing here?!" We all ask in unison.

"I was with my class, though I couldn't help but notice a couple of tigers on our turf." Erza says, glaring daggers. "What business do you have here?" She yells at them.

"We have no business with you, that's for sure." Minerva glares back, the tension building up between them. "Just doing some fairy hunting." She then looks back at Sting. "Come on Sting, we should get going now. We only came here to get rid of the blonde and the pinkette, nothing more." She glares one last time at Erza before walking away in the direction towards Sabertooth Academy.

"Errgh, those filthy tigers. Did they hurt any of you?" Erza asks, concerned.

"They tried to kill Lucy with a sword, but it only left a cut." Gray explains.

"Well as long as you're all okay, that's all that matters." Erza says. "We should just let it go for now, beating them in the FMR will be good enough of payback.

"We're just gonna let 'em get away with this?! I think we should go and storm in their academy and trash up the place." I say with my arms crossed.

"No, we shouldn't take this any further. We can't risk loosing our title and our spots in the FMR."

I sigh in defeat. "Errrgh, fine. I'll just have to make sure they loose then." I say with confidence. I then turn my attention to Lucy. "Oh yea, how's your arm Luce?"

She touches her arm where it was bleeding before. "It's nothing serious, barely even hurts."

We then start to hear one of the teachers yelling back at other side of the field.

"Okay, well we better get back to our classes. It looks like we're switching sections now. Goodbye for now." Erza walks off towards her class.

With that we start heading towards the battle section. The whole class is already there and we make it just in time.

The teacher then starts to explain. "Alright class, I'm Wakaba Mine and you can call me Mr.Mine or Wakaba, doesn't matter. This section is the most simple. Two people step into the barrier to begin the battle. A transparent dome will then surround the barrier so you and your magic can't get out and no one else can get in."

He then pulls out a stack of translucent cards. "Your opponents have been chosen by Makarov himself. Each of these cards has your name and your dome number. Once you've received yours, you may head towards your assigned dome and start the battle."

He starts handing out the cards which are in alphabetical order. I get my card sooner than the others and start heading towards dome eleven.

It takes a while since the barriers are huge, but I finally find mine and notice that my opponent isn't here yet. They're most likely still getting their card or making their way here right now.

As soon I stand outside the barrier my card disintegrates. I notice that only a couple pairs have already started battling. I watch the other battles until I hear footsteps and panting in front of me. We both turn our attention to each other simultaneously.

I then smirk at my opponent as they look back at me with wide eyes. Of course. I'm paired up with the one and only...
