안녕하세요! Hey y'all!  SORRY I've been gone for so long!!  School got in the way and then exams but I'm back! Hope you enjoy and please comment and vote.  Also SORRY THIS CHAPTER IS SO SHORT!

Lucy's P.O.V

Erza leads the way as I follow behind her. We chose archery first since a lot of my attacks come from using my bow.

As soon as we get there, she grabs a bow and some arrows off the racks, handing them to me. She tells me to stand on a grey platform in front of the targets. Once I get there, the platform starts to glow.

After a minute, my body gets a sudden feeling of pain. I can feel the magic being sucked out of my body like a vacuum.

"It's normal to feel weak and limp. You just have focus on keeping your magic in balance. This will help you gain strength and magic control along with more magic power." Erza says, looking at me with crossed arms. "Go ahead and try to shoot."

As the magic leaves my body, I find it hard to get into stance. The bow and arrow are stronger with more magic, which is not so good at the state I'm in.

Slowly, I slide the arrow onto the arrow rest, getting the nock on the bowstring. As I pull back the nocking point, my hand trembles on the grip, making the whole bow tilt out of postion.

"Ugh, I'm too weak to even get in the right position." I say to no one in particular. I get the bow back in position. Beads of sweat start forming on the top of my forehead. My body trembles as I stare at the fetching of the arrow, and then back at the target. I release my fingers from the nock, letting the arrow slide off.

My pull was so weak that the arrow doesn't even get to the target. I collapse to the floor, panting heavily. Too weak to sit up, I lay on my back, staring at the dim lights on the ceiling. Footsteps echo through the room as they near towards me.

A cold rag and water get shoved in my face by the redhead. "No laying around! We're training for three more hours." She slightly yells.

I groan from the pain of getting my body off the floor. 'This is going to be a long three hours.'

Four hours have passed and I'm finally free from the scarlet haired demon. I was able to eat lunch and converse with Erza for one of the hours.

The last bell rang and students start scurrying out of the building. Just ahead of me Natsu stands by the entrance as always, waiting to walk home with me.

"Hey Luce!" He says, grinning.

I give a simple 'hello' as we head home.

"So how was training." He asks.

"It was okay. I finally hit the target after about, 70 tries."

"Hah, took me 50 tries." He says in a proud tone.

"Shut up, Dragneel." The annoyance in my voice can be heard very clearly.

We keep walking until we race to our homes. We say our goodbyes and go our separate ways, which is not so far being neighbors and all.

After being greeted by my butler and parents, I tell them the exciting news.

"Mother, Father!"  I exclaim.  "I have been chosen for the FMR!"

"Splendid! We knew you would make it." Father says. They both give me a hug. "Let me guess, Dragneel has been chosen as the male participant."

"Yes, Father."

"Well I hope the two of you can look past your 'rivalry' and work together for once."

"Yes, Father." I say again, though a bit more annoyed.

"We must celebrate with a formal gathering!" Mother squeals.

I internally groan thinking about all the other formal events and parties we've had. More than a hundred people attend because of our status as the Heartfilias.

"Yes Mother, that sounds like a splendid idea." I give a somewhat fake smile.

"Thank you. I must invite everyone right away. Though for now, you may leave."

I bow in respect and take my leave.

As I walk up the massive staircase, I can't help but think of how Natsu and I could possibly get through the FMR without arguing like first graders.

"Well, what has to be done, has to be done." I quietly say to myself.

HEY GUYS! Sorry for such a short chapter!! Also, I'm SOO SORRY that I've been gone for so long.  To tell you the truth.....I actually had this chapter written months ago, I just didn't know how to make it longer, then I thought it wouldn't be good enough.  Then school started and you know how Highschool is with all these honors and AP classes and exams, it all just led me to not writing, buuuuut.....I'm back!  Hopefully I can update a little more often.  I hope you guys keep reading this book.  사랑해!
