2000
Hospital sirens went off as a soon-to-be mother was rushed towards a hospital, her loyal husband beside her. A few hours later, a small, pale child was born. Her eyes were strange. They were bright red, her loving mother and father didn't care, they were just glad they had their long-awaited child.

2004
Scarlett bounced around the house, finally able to run around and play like a toddler should. Her father always stayed close to her, playing games and telling stories. Her mother was always around the house, working around and joking with her young daughter.

2007
"Happy birthday to you!" Scarlett's friends and parents chanted as she blew out her candles. Her smiled was almost as bright as the fire that she put out in front of her, the candle wax drooping down the light blue candles.

2014
Scarlett's eyes widened as her parents placed a packet in front of her "you're kidding!" She could barely say as her new phone sat in front of her, waiting to be unwrapped. Her parents nodded and smiled at their fourteen year old daughter.

2017
The years ran by like a flash. Tears ran down her face as she stared at her mother's corpse. She leaned to her father and bawled into his chest. She couldn't stand to look at her mother like this, in a casket, awaiting burial.
