~Time Skip~

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

        Today marks the first year I've been here. Each day was the same and trying to distinguish one from another was nearly impossible. Even on my ninth birthday there wasn't any difference. I really miss having cake and presents on my birthday but I guess I'll have to live with it. Noah is more like a big brother to me now we're always talking and joking around with each other. Yesterday was different from the regular routine though during training in the morning Noah was called out by some type of announcement system that I had never heard before. So I had to train with one of the trainers for the rest of the day.

        I wonder why he had to leave. I quickly got ready as usual and waited for Noah to come pick me up. Another thing to mention today the 'class' I was in was going to start learning how to use axes so I guess that's cool. I heard a knock on the door as usual and quickly responded "Come In". Sure enough Noah was there quickly walking out of the room and walking beside Noah to the cafeteria it was odd at first he was quiet. Halfway to the cafeteria he finally started talking

        "We're not going to go to our regular training session anymore" he said. That was unexpected if we're not going there where are we doing then?

        "What are we going to do then" I asked.

        "Herobrine wants me to start teaching you some magic so after breakfast were going to go see him for a bit." he said. I gave a slight nod I'm going to have to see Herobrine again? He still terrifies me and the thought of seeing him again filled me with dread.

        I got my food and headed over to my seat. Liz, Jess and Mel were already there and were chatting. I quickly ate my food though I wasn't hungry. I guess they noticed something was up because Liz tapped my shoulder "You ok?" she asked.

        I nodded "yeah just a bit scared" I responded.

        "How come?" Mel asked.

        "I'm going to start learning how to use my magic and Noah and I are heading over to see Herobrine after breakfast" They finally realized why I'm so scared.

        "I'm sure you'll be fine" Jess reassured me. I nodded and just then the bell went off.

        "I'll hopefully see you later" I said. "Bye" they responded. I got up and followed Noah out of the cafeteria he headed to the right instead of our usual left. At the end of the hallway he turned into the hallway where my room was but passed my room and continued walking. He suddenly started talking.

        "When we get in the throne room follow me halfway to his throne and then bow" he said. I gave a nod to show I understand and he continued to the throne room. He got to the end of the hallway and turned left into yet another hallway. Halfway down the hallway there was a huge doorway to our right, there was 2 guards in front of the doors armed in full iron armor and equipped with iron swords. 'Please tell me that's not where we're going', but sure enough he walked towards the guards one of the guards nodded and knocked on the door

        "You May Enter" A loud voice boomed. The guards stepped aside and opened the two enormous doors. There was a red carpet on the Nether Brick which is what I learned the purple bricks were. At the end of the red carpet there was a throne made of diamonds and sure enough there sat Herobrine. Noah began to walk down the carpet and I followed him stopping to bow when he did. I could feel my heart pounding out of my chest. When Noah stood up again I did as well.

        Herobrine then stood up without saying a single word and motioned for us to follow him. He walked over to a torch next to the throne and pulled it down causing a doorway to appear. He walked in the room and we followed. The room was made of a black material that I hadn't seen before. Herobrine turned around looking strait at me he snapped his fingers and suddenly a small metal band flew over to his hand. "Lets Begin" he said. He turned to Noah "Since you know the dark side of magic I want you to teach her how to use it, I have things to attend to so you're in charge of teaching her." he said pausing for a moment to look at me as well. "You are to come here after breakfast and train, you cannot train anywhere else other than this room. Do you understand?" Noah and I nodded. "I'll be on my way then" he finished. He walked out of the room and went off to attend to 'things'.

        "Well lets start then" Noah said.

        "Um, quick question." I said.

        "What?" Noah asked.

        "Before I came here I was told I had already learned all the magic I could use" I said a bit puzzled. Noah sighed

        "They didn't teach you everything, they only taught you one side of the magic you're able to use. The good side of it. They must've decided they didn't trust you or something with the evil side." he said.

        "Oh" I responded. 'Why would they lie to me?!? Did they not trust me? Are they even coming for me I mean its been a year since I was brought here. They haven't come for me and I've enjoyed my time here more than when I was at 'home'. I've made friends, learned how to defend myself and take down an opponent.... Do they even care about me?' I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts as Noah began to teach me. I was always a fast learner and quickly caught on to what he was teaching. 'At least they're trusting me with the other side of magic...'

*Seto P.O.V.*

        It has been a year since (Y/N) had disappeared, and for the most part we have given up. We've sent in our best soldiers and they either came back empty handed or not at all. We had explored a huge area of the nether yet hadn't found anything of interest. Ty had eventually agreed with us and began preparations for the war that could possibly begin soon. Ty was holding another meeting today so I headed to the our usual meeting room and sat down in my chair. Once everyone arrived we began.

        Ty spoke first "So we haven't managed to find Herobrines' base yet and war could possibly break out soon." he sighed "Any thoughts" he continued.

         I decided to speak "As much as I hate  to say it it's been a year I don't think we'll be finding them unfortunately." I said in defeat.

         "I agree, we'll have you rule the kingdom and we'll prepare our soldiers for war." Ian said. Everyone was silent after that, after about 5 minutes of silence Ty got up

        "Meeting over" he said and walked out of the room with his head down.

~Time Skip~

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

        It has been six months since Noah had began to train me. I woke up at 6 am as usually and got ready. Once it was six-fifteen I headed down to the cafeteria. After they entrusted me with using my magic Noah convinced his father to leave my door unlocked so Noah didn't have to come get me in the mornings. I arrived at the cafeteria as usual and began to eat.

        Once I finished I headed over to the throne room, we had to go through the throne room to get to the training room. Once I got there the guards let me through and sure enough Herobrine was on the throne. Oddly enough Noah was standing on the carpet instead of waiting inside the training room.

         I quickly walked in heading down the carpet, once I got to where Noah was I quickly stopped and bowed for a few seconds before standing up again. "I have a mission for the two of you" Herobrine started. "I need you two to head over to the butter kingdom and to capture someone." It felt as though my heart had stopped beating. He wants me to capture someone I used to  know?! Put me against them?! Then again they hadn't come for me, I wasn't sure how to feel.

        "They'll be having a meeting tomorrow according to my sources I want you to record the meeting and later that night capture the new king Ty." Herobrine continued. 'New king? They had given up on us? No they wouldn't have I won't believe it until I see it.'

        "(Y/N) since you know the layout of the castle you'll be in charge of making a map and then working with Noah to come up with a plan." He finished. "That's all you're dismissed, head to the meeting room Noah you know where it is." We began to walk towards the door but as we reached it herobrine spoke once more "Oh, and just know if you fail there will be... consequences" he said. With that we walked out the door and I followed Noah to where the meeting room was.
