Amaya's POV

We rode for a while and I taught her a bit of sign language along the way. We where getting closer to the fort I could feel it, I couldn't wait to see my best friend.

Janai tapped me bringing me out of my thoughts, she pointed to smoke that rose into the air. I made the horse go faster until I saw the fort, it was in flames.

I saw Sunfire elves everywhere, i saw the heh shot flaming arrows at us. Janai pulled me off the horse and we rolled, the house took off running away.

She did up and pulled me up and pushed me behind her, some Sunfire elves ran out ready to fight.

And in all honesty I was gonna fight them too

They stopped as Janai glared at them, "what is going on here" the elves looked back in forth between the me and her before answering "we had orders from queen Khessa to attack".

(If you don't know, Khessa is Janai's older sister and Queen of the Sunfire elves an her name's pronounced Kes-sa)

Janai took my arm and walked past the elves "I want my mount here as soon as possible" the two elves noded and ran off.

Janai pulled me inside and to the roof where we stood looking at all the destruction the few elves made of a large human army.

Soren's POV

We got to the Sunfire elves kingdom, we managed to talk our way through everyone mistaking me for an elf due to my amazing costume.

We got right infront of the queen and I saw Runaan and Ethari view so I did too. The queen spoke "why are you here" Runaan and Ethari stood up and I did like two seconds after I realized they did.

I noticed the queen looked right at me so I looked away, thankfully Runaan spoke up "we've gotten word, that a Sunfire elf escaped from a prison in Katolis".

The queen sat forward a little "where is the elf" I could tell she knew something, she just seemed WAY to eager to not know anything.

Khessa's POV

The only Sunfire elf I knew of in Katolis was Janai, so she's free. I need to find her, she could be hurt.

I sat up "where is the elf" I said trying not to sound desperate. The Moonshadow elf with long hair began to speak, but the elf with the hood, something is off about him.

I glared at the hooded elf "take your hood off", he tensed up and other two elves froze "n-no thank you". "It wasn't a question, it was an order" he slowly looked at the other two elves who slowly noded at him.

Soren's POV

I looked at Runaan and Ethari who slowly noded, I took a breath and then removed my hood.

Multiple gasps filled the room and guards pointed Spears at me "oh this not good", I was backed up toward Runaan and Ethari.

We where now in a circle shape with our hands up and our backs together.

This did NOT go as planned
