Naruto cleaned up and fell asleep wherever he decided to slide down the wall, it didn't matter where he slept anyways. He has no bed, it was destroyed by the villagers. During his missions away, they always broke into his home and trash everything that he has repaired or cleaned up. So now Naruto doesn't get a bed or any sort of furnitures, all he has was the walls around him and his bag of belongings which he brings around during missions so that villagers wouldn't destroy them or throw them away. He managed to persuade Yugao to teach him to seal things away so all he carried was a mere scroll around but when it comes to mission he would unseal the bag and carry the bag of scrolls that contained his belongings with the scrolls hidden under some clothes and a bed roll.
Naruto woke up with a stiff neck, which wasn't as bad as it was the first time he has slept without a bed. He manage to get rid of the stiff neck just by a little but he would make do with it. Naruto walked out of his apartment for his morning exercise. He usually stays out until night time. "Naruto-kun!" Naruto jerked out of his thoughts when a familiar voice yelled his name. Kurama was cackling in his head at what they saw. The green spandex, bushy eyebrows and bowl cut hair isn't really the best fashion statement. "Morning bushy brow, morning bushy brow sensei!" Naruto greeted as cheery as he could. "What are you doing out so early, Naruto-kun?" Gai asked.
"Uh, excercis-"
"That's the youthful spirit!" Gai exclaimed with a thumbs up and his teeth showing, glinting in the sunlight. Naruto sweat dropped. "Come join us!" Lee exclaimed.
"Actually I-" Naruto was cut off by his stomach growling loudly.
"Eh? Naruto-kun, did you not have breakfast this morning?" Lee asked, confused. Gai's smile dropped as he knew about what Naruto has in him and what the villagers are usually like. They wouldn't sell Naruto anything or if they do, they would push the price up very very high. Naruto hid his flinch as he pretended to act sheepish. He rubbed the back of his neck. "Ehehe I, uh, don't have money to buy food?" Naruto came up with an excuse. "Well that's unhealthy! Gai sensei! We have to treat Naruto-kun to his favourite food! He must be starving!"
"That's an excellent idea Lee!" Gai declared before tugging both genin's towards ichiraku ramen.
"What are they doing with that demon?"
"I bet the demon brainwashed them."
"He brainwashed this year's genins! They were looking for him that day!"
"But Hiroku manage to tell them the truth! Some of the genins changed their minds about looking for that demon!"
Gai listened in on the whispered conversations whilst Lee blabbered nonsense to Naruto who looked like he also heard what the villagers are talking about. "So Naruto-kun, can you do me a favour?"
"Of courses! Believe it! I'll do anything for a friend!" Naruto yelled with a mouth full of noodles. "Uh, I uh..." Lee blushed.
"What?"
"I love Sakura-chan and I wanna ask her out!" Lee said in one breath. "So... You need advice or what do you want me to do exactly?" Naruto asked.
"I need advice and uh, you to hint to her that I wanna ask her out so that she doesn't get too shocked."
"So you got it all planned out huh, LEE! IM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!"
"GAI SENSEI!"
"LEE!"
"GAI SENSEI!"
"LEE!" The student and teacher hugged each other with happy tears streamed down their faces. Naruto cleared his throat from the awkwardness. The teacher and student went back to their seats, both Gai and Naruto tried to help Lee with a few advice. After that they separated to go to their individual team trainings.

"YOU'RE LATE!" Sakura screeched as she bumped Naruto on the head. Naruto flinched but no one noticed. "Why are you SO late?!?!?! DO YOU HAVE A GOOD REASON?" Sakura demanded with her hands on her hips and tapping her foot on the ground, glaring at the blond. "I..." Naruto said sounding somewhat scared which shocked his teammates.
"Hey, what's wrong?" Sakura asked, worry lacing her voice. Naruto shook his head before grinning at her. His scared and worried look disappeared and was replaced by that usual goofy look. Sasuke eyed the small blond boy suspiciously. What's wrong with him?
"I was with Bushy brows and his sensei just now, they wouldn't let me go." Naruto explained. "Ah. They are weird." Sakura said shivering slightly from thinking about the two ninja clad in green spandex. "So, Sakura-chan, what do you think about Lee?" Naruto asked, since it related to the topic before. Nice going Kit! Kurama praised.
"Lee? He is weird and creepy. Who wears green spandex and cut bowl-cut hair?"
"But if he was to ask you out would you give him a chance?" Sasuke asked, the longest sentence he has said to Sakura.
"What? No! I love you Sasuke-kun!"
"No Sakura, you don't get it." Naruto said, for the first time without the chan. They looked at him like he has grown a second head but he plowed through those looks and continued. "Lee actually really likes you. He is very nice guy, he is kind, gentle. He may not seem like it but he has a lot of potential, he trains very hard, even harder Sasuke who is all out for revenge and all but this isn't about Sasuke. This is about who you're happy with. You may have a crush on Sasuke but he is gonna be unable to provide you with happiness and the love you need if he doesn't have the same feelings for you. Both of you wouldn't be happy." Naruto said, pausing to let his words sink in to the both shocked ninja along with a slightly surprised Kakashi hiding behind the tree. "Lee just might be able to provide that happiness. Give him a chance if he ever asks."
"He's right Sakura. I don't like you the way you like me. I like you as a comrade and a friend. Give Lee a chance." Sakura looked at the two boys before sighing and nodding.
Naruto himself is suffering and yet he is always trying to make people happy. When is he going to learn? When is gonna try make himself happy instead? He can't live like this... It's gonna kill him.
