"Today is the day you die! Monster!" A villager exclaimed as he broke down the door with a very large crowd of villagers on the day of the Kyuubi festival. Naruto didn't have time to do anything as he was picked up and then thrown towards a wall. Naruto blinked to try clear away his headache from when his head hit the wall and then falling to the ground.
Naruto felt a sharp pain when a foot connected with his chest, cracking a few ribs. Then the continuous assault followed after the initial strike that has left him gasping for air.

"Sasuke, have you seen Naruto?" Neji questioned.
"No. Why?"
"The rest wants to gather together so we can go for the a kyuubi festival together." Neji explained. Sasuke paused as he tried to remember the last time he saw Naruto. He had left angrily when Naruto annoyed him. He remembered leaving with a few insults flying towards Naruto from his mouth. "Let's go get him later. I need to apologise to him."
"Me too... What did you do?" Neji asked.
"What? You too? What do you do?"
"Answer my question and I'll answer yours." It turns out Neji had the same situation Sasuke had. After meeting a few people from their friendship group, they realised everyone had had a small quarrel with Naruto and they all left after calling him names and they realised one thing after that. Naruto never fought back.

"I wanna thank Naruto." Hinata whispered. "Why?" Ino asked curiously as to why the hyuuga princess would want to suddenly thank a person. "He helped me and Kiba get together. Without him, I wouldn't have been with Kiba."
"Oh my god... You too?" Ino asked in shock, making them both stop.
"What do you mean?"
"Sai told me that Naruto was the one that gave him the courage to ask me out." Ino said and then they went around to ask everyone how they came together with their partners and they had one answer in common, they were either with Naruto or he had given them a talk before they had either bumped into their girl or was encouraged.

Naruto coughed out blood as the beating continued. It was almost time for the festival and the villagers were starting to show signs of stopping. Naruto knew today was the day. He could barely move, even without his restraints. They had all taken turns with their abuses. Physically, mentally and sexually. They even had the thought of pulling Naruto's clothes back on so that no one would question.
One of them, a shinobi, grasped Naruto's head and grinned manically at him. With a quick motion, they slipped a thick rope around his neck and tightened it. Then looped the rope over something that was slightly taller than Naruto so that it lifted him from the ground. After waiting a minute or two, watching Naruto die slowly from suffocation, they left him drop causing him to land on his head and breaking his neck. I'm sorry.
Wah?! Don't die!!!! Please Naruto!!
You can finally be free Kurama. Naruto said weakly to his tenant before he started to fade away from in front of Kurama's eyes. No!! Please don't! NARUTO!!!!!!
I love you and thank you for everything. Naruto whispered before he completely faded away. Kurama cried. He has never cried so hard in his life. A note flew into his cage as the seal on his cage started sizzling and then the cage flung open. Kurama looked at the note.
'Dear Kurama,
If you're reading this, I assume I'm dead and the cage should be open. Please go back home. Your wife and children misses you dearly. I'm sorry for holding onto you for so long and causing distress to your family. Please don't destroy this village when you're out. I have worked hard to protect this village and to help all my friends into a relationship. I hope I hadn't been a lot of trouble to you. I'm sure I have been because I've used a lot of your chakra to heal from all the injuries. The village is not to blame, please. They're just grieving. I am willing to take all the suffering.

Kurama howled in anguish as he cried harder. Then he felt a tug before he appeared back at his own home.

Sasuke was walking home after buying somethings that his girlfriend had requested. "I'm home!"
"Welcome back Sasuke-kun!" Koyoki said as she emerged from the living room. Koyoki's parents had approved of their relationship so now Koyoki's would stay over at Sasuke's place for a few days before Sasuke would stay over at Koyoki's place for a few days. They would move back and forth, both comfortable with always moving as long as they are together. "Hello Hime." Sasuke greeted before giving her a kiss.
"Hello, you have a letter. It doesn't have a return address and it's written with very fancy handwriting."
"What's it about?" Sasuke asked as he had given Koyoki permission to open all his stuff as long as he can do the same with her stuff. "I don't know. I didn't open it because it looks like it's from a very important person because of the handwriting." Sasuke took the letter and opened it.
'Dear Sasuke,
I apologise for making you angry. Actually, I hereby apologise for everything I did. I am sorry for annoying you. I am sorry for dragging the team down. I hope you can forgive me. I wish you are happy with you girlfriend. I'm happy for the two of you. Just do me a favour. Take care of that girl. I can tell she's a keeper. Don't cheat on her. I'll be watching.

"What does it say?" Koyoki asked and Sasuke handed her the letter.
"Sasuke-kun?"
"Hm?"
"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?" Sasuke paused as he considered Koyoki's statement. "Something's not right... Let's go."
"Where are we going?" She asked as she grabbed her purse and rushed after Sasuke.
"Sasuke!" A familiar voice barked, followed by a dog barking his greetings. "Kiba."
Kiba ran towards him with Hinata as he clutched a letter in hand. "You received it too?" Kiba asked.
"Yeah. What does yours say?" Kiba held out his letter for Sasuke to read and they exchanged letters. The same things were written on it, just different names and a few extra comments here and there. They met up with everyone else and they also had a similar letter, the jounins too.

'Dear Tsunade baa-chan, or should I say Tsunade-sama,
I hope your drinking and gambling habits has reduced. It is really bad for your health so I hope you can reduce it. I wouldn't tell you to quit entirely. Just try to minimise the amount of sake and gambling you do. I wish you happiness with Jiraiya sensei.
I just wanna say I love you as a mother, a mother I never had. I enjoyed all the times I've spent with you. I'm sorry for all the troubles I've caused you.

Naruto Uzumaki.' Tsunade frowned. What is the meaning of this? Tsunade thought as she reread the letter. For some unknown reasons, this brought tears to her eyes. Then Jiraiya burst through the door, clenching a letter too. "Did you receive it?" He questioned. Tsunade nodded worriedly.
'Dear Jiraiya sensei,
I just wanna thank you for everything you did for me and all the time you have spent teaching me. I just wanna wish you happiness with Tsunade baa chan. Please don't cheat on her. I'll be watching. I wanna say I love you as the family I never had. Thank you.

"What is going on? He sent letters to rookie 9 and the jounins. The ichirakus and Konohamaru and his team also received it."
"What?" Tsunade asked, confused. Not only did Naruto write so neatly, he has written more than a dozen letters. Tsunade looked over to the photo frame with Naruto and her together when she heard glass cracking. The glass had indeed crack and it cracked on Naruto. "Oh dear." The two sannins looked at each other before they started running.
The jounins had also took off towards Naruto's house when the last picture or item they had with or from Naruto cracked suddenly. "Tsunade-sama, Jiraiya-sama what are you guys doing here?"
"Something is going on." Anko, Yugao and Hayate came running towards them before they skidded to a halt. "What are you guys doing?" Anko questioned.
"Kami! Talk later! Check on Naruto-kun first!" Yugao exclaimed, clearly flustered. Tsunade banged on the door. "Naruto? Are you in there?" Tsunade shouted but received no reply. They waited for two seconds before Tsunade's worry skyrocketed and she instinctively kicked the door down but before she could, the door fell because it was previously broken by the villagers earlier.
Their worries increased as there was blood everywhere. "Naruto?"
"Hey gaki! Where are you?" Anko yelled out. When they finally saw who they were look for, they froze. All too shock to say anything. He was covered in blood and his hair was caked with blood which it laid on his head limply, unlike usually it would be untameable. His skin was sickly pale and his neck was bent at and awkward angle, his limbs bound together with chakra chains. They couldn't feel any chakra whatsoever, they can't even feel the kyuubi's chakra. Why is it not healing him? Was their thoughts while they still stood there, unable to comprehend the sight in front of them. Tsunade snapped out of it first as she was immediately next to him, fumbling for a pulse. One look you can tell he is dead but they wouldn't believe that. Kakashi saw a piece of paper taped to the wall. On it was some proud words of villagers saying whoever that discovered the demon brat should tell the hokage to contact them so that she can reach the 'saviours' of Konoha from the reincarnation of the nine tailed beast. Their details were scribbled on it. Jiraiya wrinkled the paper with his tight grip. Someone had wrote on the wall saying 'happy birthday demon. Today is gonna be your death. We've finished what the yondaime started.'
"No. He can't be dead. No!!!" Tsunade screamed as she was being pulled away by Jiraiya.
"NO!!!! Let me go!!!! I'm going to heal him!!" Tsunade screamed as she struggled before she stopped struggling after Jiraiya yelled some sense into her. The girls had collapsed on the ground, brawling their eyes out. Anko was caressing Naruto's face, tracing his beautiful angelic features.
"Why? Why did you have to go?!!" Anko screamed. Kakashi gently unbounded Naruto.
He carried the small broken boy as they walked out, all crying silently or as loud as possible. Anko's anguish cries could be heard across Konoha.
"What was that?" Kiba asked.
"Let's go check it out." They were lead towards the hospital and towards the autopsy room that is right next to the morgue.
"Kakashi sensei? Asuma sensei, Kurenai sensei, gai sensei? What's going on?" Sakura asked. The grieve stricken ninjas were silent as they waited in their own grieve, making the others uncomfortable.
When Tsunade came out, she had walked right pass them without acknowledging them, a teary Shizune followed. They followed their hokage. Tsunade walked into her office and slammed the door, she leaned on a wall before sliding down and she started crying.
She was rocking back and forth, mumbling apologies. Then she started screaming and then she started throwing everything she can get her hands on. "What's going on?" Neji asked. Shizune just bit her lip and started crying.
Tsunade walked out, her face hardened into a emotionless mask. She barked at the anbus to gather everyone in front of the tower as she has to make an announcement.

"... Today, something very unfortunate has happened!" Tsunade begun. "Uzumaki Naruto was brutally murdered! He has been tortured, mentally, physically and sexually! I know who the f* you motherf*ers are! I don't care what you do! You will get whatever you deserved for killing a fellow village member and a very promising shinobi." The news hit everyone who had the luck of being friends with the blond very hard.
When cheering begun, it shocked them all. "Shut up!" Tsunade shouted, making everyone cower in fear. "You guys have made a very big mistake! I am sure the fourth hokage would be rolling in his grave along with Konoha's first female Anbu captain! They sacrificed themselves, hoping this child would be hailed a hero. He has kept the kyuubi at bay and made sure it didn't attack the village! They would be very disappointed in this village! This village killed their son! The saviour of Konoha! The heir to the Namikaze and Uzumaki clan! I hope you guys are happy!" Everyone was now shocked by the revelation. Naruto is the son of the yondaime? He is an heir? They killed a clan heir! The daimyo is gonna skin them all.
"Since you guys killed the jinchuriki, the kyuubi has mysteriously disappeared! You guys are gonna have to pray hard it doesn't attack!" Tsunade yelled. "I hereby tender my resignation and retire as a ninja!" Tsunade barked before walking away, tossing her headband on the ground and stomping on it, breaking the metal.
She stayed to get Naruto cleaned and to prepare a funeral.
Everyone that hadn't been nice to Naruto tried to attend only to be kicked out. Gaara was gritting his teeth in anger. After the funeral ended, Naruto was buried next to the fourth hokage and his wife. The family is finally together again.

The hidden fire village was falling apart. Alliances was cut off when other countries had found out they murdered a saviour of not only Konoha but their own country. The village was in chaos when a number of ninjas had quit and left the village. Their strongest ninjas, Kurenai, Asuma, gai, kakashi, anko, yugao, hayate, Ibiki, Genma was gone. Rookie 9, ichirakus and Konohamaru squad also left along with Iruka. The fire nation has fallen and now it is just a tiny weak village, no longer the strong village it once was. Tsunade, Naruto's legal family' had requested to move Naruto and his parents, the other hokage's graves somewhere else.

Who knew? The child who was everyone's sunshine has always been calling for help but no one answered his cries. Even in his death, he caused chaos with all the good deeds. He was hailed a hero in other countries but shunned in his own. If only, if only they heard his cries for help. His cries of 'save me please', his pleas, his hidden sorrow and pain.
