The fighter never left the marksman presence, as it seemed he is quite interested in knowing Granger a lot more. Afterall, you never know when a ranger is needed in the battle. The melee's disadvantage is a ranger's advantage, after all. The order only has Harith as a ranged combatant, Tigreal is more adapt to defending the group, while Fanny flies off as a swift fighter who slashes through the enemies' skin with her blade. Sir Tigreal, who leads the chevalric group, is more fitted as the team's defender, with his rose gold shield.

Granger thought that it wasn't so bad to have someone accompany him after a little while of not socializing, as it enables him to express the burden he feels althroughout his life, or at least just some of it. He told Alucard about everyone's treatment being the total opposite of what he receives from the other, since it was just a common and obvious thing from him.

"Perhaps, I'm not just the type to be dealt with that easily." Granger mumbles, and Alucard heard it but he still wore a smile on his face. The fighter extends an arm across his shoulder, and he pats him on the back, a little force than the usual that made Granger step forward a bit, come with how slim he is, but he shrugs it off.

Granger wanted to return back to the inn, and Alucard was just with him temporarily as he'd go by the same path towards the village center, where the fighter is supposed to go. His purpose there? Granger doesn't know, and he doesn't want to meddle with the fighter's matters, especially that he is famous around these parts, as he comes from the Order.

Meanwhile, Granger's eyes traces the mewling Lev whom was sitting proudly on Alucard's mettalic arm, whilst being pampered with soft pats onto her head. Alucard is preoccupied by his thoughts of recruiting a new member, but of course, he cannot invite a stranger all so suddenly. It is inappropriate, and the King would immediately refuse.

"I have heard of a particular member in the Order, one who soars up in the sky? I am amazed and curious of how it is done. Such skill in air combat, I have never seen anyone who fights through the wind. Hearing the news around the tavern, it sounds like a myth. Especially, from flightless species such as humans." Granger remarked, his eyes trailing down the busy path as they walked over the marketplace, a few steps near the inn where Granger and Lev resides.

"Ah, yes. We have a very skilled combatant in the Order. A lot had been looking up at the warrior for using a rare technique and flawlessly using blades to pierce through enemies. I can confirm that we do have that kind of person within the group." Alucard looked back at the marksman with a small smile, tilting his head while he continuued to pat the kitten onto his arm.

This is a nice start, at least. Alucard thought, pertaining to Granger's curiosity of the Order. It seemed like he only entertains news he feels peculiar of. Granger didn't seem to know he is one of the members of the Order.

"Very well, it is nice meeting you..." The marksman trails off, pausing in his steps for awhile in front of the doorstep towards the inn he stays in, trying to remember the fighter's name at the back of his head.

Alucard's eyes scanned the front of the inn, his hand never leaving the black kitten's fur as he observed. The space isn't so big, and compared to the unevenness of the cobblestone oath beneath his foot, the thin, crumbled walls seemed so rough, and unclean. It had patches of dirt upon its corners, and the colors we dull, neglected.

"Alucard." The fighter reminds the marksman, turning his head towards the other. Granger felt like he knew what Alucard was thinking of the inn, and he couldn't argue with that. That long pause of silence was probably an indication, and the unamused look he wore in his eyes were enough to confirm.

Granger thinks of the same, anyway. He didn't need a luxurious house to live in. All he wanted was a good place to sleep, and an address for the quests he receives from the demon hunter pact.

"Ah, right. Alucard." The marksman bowed down in respect, as seen by Lev, and the kitten knew what was about to happen, and be instinct, she jumped onto Granger's head, before they part ways. Alucard's hold around her may be comfortable, but she stays inclined to the person who saved her.

From that moment on, Granger knew, there's no turning back in keeping the kitten. He doesn't want to take her away from the only person she is close to, because he knew the feeling of loneliness.
