The next day at the beach wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I honestly thought I would be upset, but all my friends made sure I was smiling 24/7.

I haven't told them why I would be sad, but I planned on it on the way home.

All of us cleaned up our tower and made our way to the bus. Tyler sat in the isle, so I moved so I was sitting on his lap. "I have something to announce." I said with a weird accent. Everyone turned their attention to me.

"If I'm not smiling much, please don't take it to heart. I found out my parents are divorcing. Every weekend I have to go to my mom and her new boyfriend's house." I sighed. "I'm sorry, Callie. You don't deserve this." Eric says as he hands me a piece of chocolate. "Thanks, Eric." I gently smiled as I popped the chocolate into my mouth. Everyone comforted me as we drove.

"I'm okay guys, I promise." I said as I flipped my hair to the side. "Is that an engagement ring?" Lizzie laughs. "No, it's a promise ring." I laughed.

Sunday came sooner than expected. "You guys ready?" My dad called downstairs. I grabbed my bags for the weekend that held my makeup, new clothes, my uniform, and other things. I might as well have fun when I'm there.

All of us joined my dad in the kitchen. It was a lot quieter without my mom here. It felt, almost sad?

"You guys have everything? Toothbrush? Pads?" My dad asked as he looked at me. "That time already passed." I nodded. He nodded and grabbed his keys from the table.

"Let's go!" He exclaims as we follow him to the car. Reed locks the door behind us and jogs to catch up. Ryland sits in the front, so I'm stuck with Reed in the back.

I plug my earbuds in before playing a playlist Tyler made for me while I was in Australia for when were missing each other or when we need to be cheered up. 'The lazy song' by Bruno mars played first. I hummed as we drove to Malibu and texted my pod in the group chat. We all agreed to FaceTime tonight when I went to bed.

Dad pulled up to a larger house then our other one, but it still gave off the homey vibe. All of us piled out of the car as my mom flung the door open. She ran over and hugged all of us 1 by 1.

"You look happy." She smiled before hugging me. "I am." I giggled as I pulled away and showed her the ring. "Tyler proposed?" She asked as she examined the ring. "Nope, just a promise ring." I nod as she drops my hand. "It's cute. What time should I have them back sunday?" Mom asks as she turned to my dad. "Any time before 11 pm." He answered before hugging us all. "Alright, I'll get going. You guys behave and have fun." Dad instructs. We all nod. "I'll see you Sunday." I told him as I hugged him. "Yep, looking forward to it." He chuckled before he pulled away. "Love you guys." He said before getting into his car and pulling out of the driveway.

Mom led us inside the house. "Everyone, this is Liam. Liam, these are my kids. Callie, Reed, and Ryland." My mom says. You can physically tell by our height who's the oldest and who's the youngest.

"Nice to meet you." I smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Callie. You're engaged?" He asked. "Oh, no. It's just a promise ring." I sighed. I was getting really tired of being asked the same question over and over again. "Sorry about that." Liam says before turning to my brother's. "I'm going to show them their rooms." My mom said, leading us up the stairs. Liam followed close behind.

"This is Ryland's." Mom says before opening the door. It had to be the largest room. I didn't really look in, but it looked really cool from where I stood. Ryland thanked them before disappearing inside. We moved on to the next room. "This is Reed's room." Mom says before opening the door. It had comic books in frames, so I already knew he was going to love it. "Thank you! I love it!" He exclaimed before stepping in.

"Liam suggested we put you on the other side of the hallway to let you have your privacy from your brother's." Mom chuckles as we walked to my room. "Thank you." I laughed as she opened the door. I stepped in and looked around. The bed looked incredibly comfortable with fairly lights over it, and there was a hanging chair in the corner. My eyes landed on the bass on the other corner. "My bass!" I exclaimed. "I thought I left this at home?" I questioned. "We got you another one so you don't have to lug it around every time you leave our house. We also have drums in the basement."

"It's beautiful, I love it." I smiled as I set my bag down on the ground. "Your bathroom is right through that door, your closet it in the bathroom." Liam said while pointing to the door. "Awesome, thank you!" I exclaimed. "It's no problem." They both smiled before stepping out.

"Oh! By the way! You're best friend lives next door." My mom chuckled. "Gina lives next door?" I exclaimed as I stepped over to the window. I didn't think to look over when I got out of the car. "She's my niece." Liam chuckles. "That's amazing!" I exclaimed before pulling my phone out of my jacket pocket and sending a quick text to Gina.

'Hey, you should meet me outside :)' I quickly typed before looking over at her house. My phone dinged, signaling she texted back. I opened it as Liam and my mom stepped out. 'Uh? Should I be scared?' She texted back. 'Nope, Just do it.' I chuckled before leaving my new room and going downstairs. I opened the door and saw Gina leaving her house. She glanced over and saw me. "Hey new neighbor!" I exclaimed before running over. "You're joking! My uncle and your mom are together?" She laughed as she hugged me. "I guess so! I'm here every other weekend!" I giggled as I pulled away. "That's amazing! Eric lives across the street and Lizzie's over a lot! We can hang out more often!" She says while pointing over to what I'm assuming is Eric's house.

"We hang out everyday? We literally work together." I laughed. "That's true." She laughs. "You want to see my room?" I asked. She eagerly nods and follows me into the house. "I bring a certain neighbor!" I shouted as I walked in. "Hey, Gina." Liam Greets from the kitchen. "Hey, uncle Liam." She smiled before following me up the stairs.
