The three of us clambered onto the bus and sat in the front. We made jokes as Vooch drove.
The boys were basically silent in the back, but I could feel their gaze on us. "Do you think fish can see the air, but not the water?" I asked out of no where. "What?" Lizzie and Gina laughed. "You know, we can't see the air but we can see the water. What if fish see the opposite of us?" I asked. Gina and Lizzie looked at each other with wide eyes.
"You're a genius!" They both giggled. I laughed as I turned to the window to see the beach come into view. Vooch pulled up and everyone piled out. Tyler's hand softly brushed mine as he passed me. I got off and walked into the headquarters. Logan and Dylan were sitting at the kitchen area. I bit my lip and walked to the bathroom.
After doing my business, I met up with my pod with everything I needed. I blew my whistle to get their attention. Everyone turned to me. I couldn't bear to look Tyler in the eyes.
"2 mile run, go." I said before blowing the whistle again. They took off in a run. I sat behind and looked out over the beach. Everything happened so fast, and I don't know how to feel.
It wasn't Tyler's fault, but he kept it from me. That's the part I'm angry about. He didn't tell me about anything that happened while I was gone.

I tried to keep my distance from Tyler as much as I could, but that Polaroid kept popping up in my brain, same with that box in my closet. "You guys can take a break, I'll be back." I said before walking towards headquarters. Quickly grabbing a water, I sat down on the couch area.
Why didn't he tell me? Does he like Dylan and just lied last night to protect my feelings? Maybe he does, but he did stick with me when I got back from Australia.
A presence beside me brought me out of my thoughts. I looked over to see Tyler's concerned face. "You okay?" He softly asked. I slowly nodded as I adverted his eyes. "I understand if you want me to leave." Tyler gently said as he went to stand up. "Wait!" I quickly said. He turned around and looked down at me. "Please stay, I want to work this out." I pleaded. He nodded and sat down next to me.
"Why? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked before taking a sip of my water. "Because I only love you, and that kiss meant nothing to me. I was hurt and wasn't in the right mind set. I know it's not a legitimate excuse, but you should know." Tyler explains. I slowly turned back to him.
"I know it wasn't your fault, I'm upset over the fact you didn't tell me." I said as I finally looked into his gorgeous green eyes. "I told Dylan it was a mistake. Callie, I'm in love with you." He said as he reached out for my hands, almost afraid I was going to push him away like last night. I ignored his hands and hugged him tightly. His strong arms wrapped around my waist as we hugged.
"We should get back to the pod, we need to train for the crucible." I said as I pulled away from the hug. He nodded and helped me up. We held hands as we walked back out to the pod. Everyone regrouped and waited for instructions.
"Roger said he wanted us to work on the ATV's this morning in the captain meeting, so, I have the keys to that ATV." I said as I pointed to the ATV. Everyone nodded as we looked over and approached it. "No racing, Tyler." Gina joked. I chuckled and handed the Keys to Eric. "You can go first." I smiled. He excitedly nodded and got on before starting it. Tyler handed him a helmet.

Tyler was waiting for me when I walked out of the headquarters. "Hey!" I smiled as the door shut behind me. "Hey, I have a little plan for us tonight." He smiled as he gently grabbed my hand before leading it to his lips and gently kissing it.
"What is it?" I softly smiled as we walked to the bus. "I was thinking, I could take you to dinner and we could get ice cream afterwards." He smiled as we neared the bus. "I'd love to." I smiled before kissing his lips. "I'll pick you up at 6:30?" He smiled as we pulled away. I swiftly nodded and got on the bus. The girls were sitting up front.
"We can sit in the back." I laughed as I stopped so they can move. "Okay!" Lizzie smiles before getting up and moving to the back. Gina laughs and follows her. I sit in the window seat and Tyler sits in the aisle.

Vooch took the route where I got off first, so I had time to get ready. I hopped off the bus after saying goodbye to my friends and ran into the house. "Hey!" I greeted everyone before running up the stairs. "Honey! Wait!" My mom yelled as I opened my door. Chris was sitting on my bed, watching TV. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "My parents had to do something tonight so they dropped me off here. I guess it's a sleepover." He creepily smirked.
"Nope, because I'm asking my boyfriend if I can stay the night at his place. Now, can you get out so I can get ready for my date?" I growled. "Boyfriend, huh? I can be way-."
"Just get out." I stomped my foot. He threw his hands up and walked out of my room. My eyes landed on the box of things in my closet. I smiled before pulling it out and putting pictures back on my walls. I put his hoodies on my dresser and got ready for the date.
"Mom! Dress or Jeans?" I yelled down the stairs after throwing my door open. "Jeans with a cute top!" She yelled back. "Thank you!" I yelled before shutting my door and finding my favorite pair of ripped jeans.
After searching my closet for about 5 minutes, I finally found a top I loved. It was a pink and blue sleeved crop top. I pulled my captain jacket off and my shirt before pulling on the blue and pink blended striped shirt. I heard voices down stairs, so I listened in while I put my pink converse on.
"Yeah, I'm Callie's boyfriend. Now can you please let me upstairs so I can see my girl?" I heard Tyler say. "Chris, just let him up and stop being dramatic." I groaned as I opened the door. Tyler smiles at me from the bottom of the stairs before pushing Chris out of the way and coming upstairs. I closed the door behind him and looked at his outfit. He was wearing a button up shirt that wasn't buttoned all the way up and jeans paired with converse. "You look good." I smiled up at him. "You look gorgeous." Tyler smiled at me before leaning in to kiss me.
He was just about to kiss me, but Moon meowed loudly outside the door. I chuckled and opened the door for her. She strolled in and jumped onto my bed before laying down. I turned back to Tyler after closing the door.
"Can I spend the night at your place? Chris is staying the night." I said as I laced my fingers behind his neck. He rested his hands on my waist as he looked down at me. "I'm sure my mom would be fine with it. You should go ask your mom." He chuckled as he looked into my eyes. I nodded before finally kissing him. We both smiled into the kiss before pulling away.
I relaxed my arms and stepped away from him. "I'm going to ask my mom, protect my room." I joked before leaving my room. After a little bit of searching, I found my mom in her room.
"Hey mom? Is it okay if I spend the night at Tyler's?" I asked. "Sure, if it's okay with his parents." My mom smiled as she folded her laundry for work. "I'll call his mom in just a second." My mom continues as she grabs her phone. "Thank you." I smiled before retreating back to my room.
Tyler was sitting at my desk and looking through our photos. I slipped my arms over his shoulders and hugged him from behind.
"Hey, what did she say?" He asked. "She said yes, but she's calling your mom to make sure it's okay with her." I answered before I kissed his hair.
"Callie!" My mom yelled downstairs. "I'll be back." I sighed before letting go of him and going downstairs. "Yes?" I asked. She looked up from the coffee cup and up at me. "Tyler's mom said you can spend the night. I'm trusting you to be responsible and respectful." She says. "Yes ma'am. I promise." I smiled before skipping upstairs. "Thank you!" I yelled before closing the door.
"Help me pack." I smiled at Tyler. "You're going to have to pay." He puckered his lips. I giggled and kissed his lips. "Is that good?" I questioned as I pulled away. He swiftly pulled me onto his lap. "Tyler, come on I want to eat." I pouted. He leaned up and kissed my extended lip. "Fine, let's pack and get you some food." He chuckled as he helped me off and helped me pack for his house.
