Dylan and I walked towards the bus after we had a small captain meeting with Roger. "It's a small bus, but we have a lot of fun on it." I laughed as I led her into the bus and towards the seats in the back. We sat down together in the last seat and talked about our pods as we waited for my pod. Eventually, Lizzie and Gina got on the bus. "Dylan!" They exclaimed as they saw the two of us. They piled into the seat beside us.
"Hey guys!" She smiled. "Where Tyler and Eric?" I asked. "We saw them talking to Roger, but that was the last time I saw them." Lizzie said.
As if on cue, the two of them get on the bus as they laugh to themselves. "I thought we were sitting together." Tyler pouted. "We sit together every day, this is Dylan's first time on this bus so I decided to sit with her. You can sit in front of us." I laughed. He kissed my cheek as Eric got in before him and sat down after Eric got situated.
Tyler passed me a bag of Veggie Sticks. "Yes! Thank you!" I exclaimed as I opened it. He chuckled and continued making jokes with everyone. "I'm nervous for the crucible, I feel like my pod isn't going to make it and I won't be a captain." Dylan says as Vooch starts to pull away from the beach. I took a stick out of the bag and ate it as the seven of us talked.
"So, who's the first one off?" Dylan asked. "Depends on the route, judging by the route, Lizzie is." I nodded. "And who's the last?" She asked again. "If Vooch continues this route, us." I laughed. She nods and glances up at Tyler in front of us. I glance between them as he looks back. Tyler and Dylan lock eyes. Tyler quickly looks away and grabs a veggie stick out of my bag. I nervously reach in after him and grab one.

Dylan and I hopped off the bus and into my house after dropping everyone else off. "Hey!" I greeted my grandparents as we passed them in the dining room. They were currently playing a board game.
"Hey! Who's this?" They both greeted and asked. "This is Dylan, my friend." I introduced as Dylan waved. "Nice to meet you." She smiled. "Nice to meet you too, dear. I made cookies if you want some. They're on the kitchen counter." Grandma smiles before turning back to the game. The two of us nod and walk up to my room. Dylan set her things down and sat down in my desk chair.
"Cute room." She smiled. "Thanks." I said as I glanced over at the pictures above my bed. There was a picture of Tyler smiling widely with his shirt off with a necklace with a cross over his chest. The necklace I sent over for his birthday. I smiled at it before turning back to Dylan.
"So-." I started, but was cut off by talking downstairs. I inched towards the door with Dylan and slowly went downstairs to see who it was.
It was Chris. A.K.A the guy who never leaves me alone. "Callie! Come say hello to our guests!" My mom smiles as she sees us hiding on the stairs. I groan, but lead Dylan over. "You got curvier." Chris whispers under his breath, but I can still hear him. I saw Tyler's mom pull up on the driveway. "Gotta blast, Tyler's here." I exclaimed before pulling Dylan to the door and outside. "I'll follow." Chris says. "No, no. No need for that." I rolled my eyes as I saw Tyler's large frame get out of the car.
My small feet carry me the stairs and into his arms. "Hey, what's wrong?" Tyler asked as he gently pulled me closer to him while looking into my soft blue eyes. "He's here." I softly said. Tyler looked up from my eyes and towards the deck. His eyes narrow at Chris before letting go of me and starting towards him.
"Tyler, please don't. I just want to be with you." I softly called out as I tried to pull him back by his arm. He stopped and looked back at me. Tyler slowly nodded before sliding his arm around my waist and leading me inside with Dylan. Tyler and I sat down on the couch and watched Jane act out a routine she came up with.
"I'm going to ask my mom for headache medicine." I told Tyler before standing up and going to the kitchen. My mom, Tyler's mom, grandma, and her best friend were drinking wine in the kitchen while my dad, his best friend, and grandpa were in the garage.
"Hey, mom? Do we have head ache medicine?" I asked. She looked up at me and nodded. "I'll get you some." She nods as she gets up and heads towards the medicine cabinet. My mom takes the small container out and gets one pill for me. She hands me a water and the pill. "Thank you." I said before quickly taking the medicine and returning to the couch to see Dylan and Tyler talking very closely.
"What's going on?" I questioned as I looked the two of them over. They both jumped back at my voice. "Nothing, we were just talking about the crucible." Dylan quickly says. A little too quickly...
"Okay..." I trailed off as I saw Gina pull in. I moved past Chris and went outside to greet Gina. She smiled at me as her mom drove away. "Hey, your mom said I could spend the night because my parents won't be home tonight." She says as I greet her at the sidewalk. "Cool. Hey, I think somethings going on with Tyler and Dylan. They're being really secretive." I softly confessed as I saw Lizzie's mom pull up.
Lizzie got out of the car before her mom drove away and joined us outside. Lizzie joined us. "I don't know, Callie. They've always been close." Gina softly said. "Yeah, maybe. It's just that they're acting really weird. What if something happened while I was in Australia?" I asked. "Tyler's in love with you. I doubt he would do something like that." Lizzie said. I slowly nodded as Eric pulled up. We three of us waved at his parents as he got out of the car. They waved before driving away.
