"Did He say, 'Towel and Sheet?" Eric asked. "No, I think he said Tower of the Week." I corrected. Garvin nodded at me. "Tower of the week, it's like Student of the week, or Employee of the month." He explains. "I can't believe this! I thought you didn't like us!" Dylan exclaims. "I can't stand you. But the numbers don't lie."
"Does that mean we get like a plaque or something?" Lizzie asked. "No, it means you get to come into my office so I can tell you." He shrugs. "Two questions: does Brody know, and if he doesn't, can I tell him?" Tyler asks. "Two answers, I don't know and get out of my office." Garvin responds. We all nod and walk out. Except Tyler, he runs out to tell Brody. "I'm dating an idiot." I laughed as I saw him run down the hallway. I didn't see Gina behind us, but I figured she had to use the bathroom or something.
Gina ran towards us as we stood in the headquarters. "It's about time they stopped treating us like crap just because we're from the valley." Lizzie groans. "This is huge! Things are never going to be the same." Tyler nods. Eric starts talking about telling us something, but I'm too distracted by Tyler glancing at me. "Spit it out." Gina tells Eric. "We decided to..." Eric starts, but Lizzie cuts him off. "Give up using straws! And I hope you'll join us!" Lizzie says. I furrow my eyebrows towards the two of them as Tyler throws his arm around me.
"It's for the Ocean." Eric shrugs. "We just keep getting better!" Dylan exclaims. "Hey Brody! You're going to love this!" Tyler says as he lets go of me and jogs over to Brody. "Guess you have to follow him." Gina laughed. I rolled my eyes jokingly and followed his trail.
Tyler runs up to Brody and tells him we're the tower of the week. "You better have just said Towel and Sheet." Brody growls. "Nope!" Tyler says before skipping away. The pod follows him. Dylan leads us outside and hands us rakes. "Raking the kelp is the easy part, hauling it to and from HQ is the hard part. So I'm going to need someone super strong." Dylan nods. Tyler flexed his arm muscles. "You mean those bins over there?" He asks, pointing to them. "I hate you." I laughed. "I hate you, too." He jokingly said.
"Okay, back on topic." Dylan laughs. "Don't worry, I'm on it!" Tyler says before running off towards the bins. "Works every time. Eric, can you give him a hand? He's not as strong as he thinks." Dylan jokes. "He's actually pretty strong, but he definitely will need some help." I laughed. Eric nods and follows Tyler's path. I watch as Tyler attempts to move the bins, but fails miserably. All four of us girls started raking the beach for kelp.

Eric and I jumped out of the bins at the same time. "Where are we?" Eric asked as he got out of his bin. I looked around the room. I had no clue where we were. Hopefully, nothing happened to Callie.
"Tyler? Is that your stupid voice?" Brody asked as he pops out of his bin. I looked around as other popped out of theirs. Callie was no where to be seen. "This better not be one of your lame pranks." He threatens as I jump out of my bin. "Why would I prank my self?" I asked as I stepped close to him. "Because you're lame! So is your little girlfriend." Brody says as he pushes my chest with one finger. "Callie is not lame. Never say anything about my girlfriend. Do that again, I dare you." I threatened. "Boink!" He says as he does it again. I lose my temper and push him into the bin with my whole body and strength.

"Watch the guys show up the minute we're done." Gina groans. "Eric wouldn't do that, he's sweet...Wonderful..." Lizzie smiles to her self and drones on. I playfully rolled my eyes and continued working. I was worried about Tyler. Usually he's checking on me, but I haven't got one message or seen him since he ran off towards the bins.
"But Tyler's a bad influence, that's probably what's going on!" She exclaimed. "Hey! He is not!" I exclaimed as I looked up at her. We argued back and forth before Dylan said something.
"It looks like Logan needs help?" She said. Lizzie and I stopped and looked over at her. "Are you serious? Tower one never helps us, why should we help them?" Gina asks. "Because were not like them. We're tower two and tower two helps people when they need it." She explains. I glance over at Logan again. Dylan walks over to her. The three of us continue working at our area. "You think Eric's okay?" Lizzie asked. "He's fine, but I overheard Logan say Brody and Spencer ditched her too. Tyler and Brody are probably killing each other." I groaned.
•••Tyler•••
Brody and I jumped up off the floor as we heard a horn go off. The door opens and in walks three guys with black and red robes on. I furrow my eye brows and look out the door to see if Callie was out there. No one was out there. We all back up as they approach.
"Welcome, to the end of the beginning." The man, who was playing the conch, says. "Does he mean the middle?" I whispered to Tyler. "You have all been chosen to pledge the most sacred society in Malibu beach. The Order of the golden conch."
"Oh! I've never heard of that." Eric says. The man removes his hood to reveal Garvin. We all gasp and jump back. "That's because it's a secret you knuckle head." Garvin says to Eric.
"Junior Rescue only accepts the best of the best. And only the best of the best are chosen to become conchs." Garvin explains. Callie should be here then instead of me. She's way better than I am at this.
"Wait, why are they here then?" Brody asks, pointing to Eric and I. "I should take offense to that, but I'm kind of asking myself the same question." I say. "They were just named Tower of the week, and it got the elders attention. So, as much as it pains me to say it, they made the cut." Garvin explains.
"Yes! We did it!" Eric smiles and high fives me. "You've been chosen by the elders to wear the sacred necklace." Garvin says as he opens the box.
We all gasp and look at it, eventually moving forward for a better look. "I live for puka shells." Spencer says, reaching toward it. Garvin closes it before he can grab it. "Joining the order, you will be welcomed by Malibu's elite. Power and privilege beyond your wildest imagination will be yours." Garvin says. Eric and I smile at each other.
"But first! You must complete a task that demonstrates your loyalty. And make it a good one, something that will really impress me." Garvin smirks. "Impress us." The guys say behind him.
"Dude, if we get in this thing, that means tower two is just as good as other towers." I said to Eric. "We won't let you down!" I exclaimed to Garvin. "No, we won't let you down." Brody says, gesturing to the older rescues. "That's what I just said?" I said as I shook my head. "It's settled then, no one is going to let me down." Garvin says before walking out.
•••Callie•••
Dylan and Logan finish another one of their piles as we walked back to our area. We passed them and looked around. We had already finished, and now we don't know what to do. "Let's just head back to the tower." I shrugged as I scratched at my neck. This bruise is really annoying me. We walked past HQ on our way there. I looked up to the meeting room and saw someone looking down. I couldn't quite tell who it was, so I continued walking. We came across an abandoned kelp area, so we started cleaning it up. As we went to pull it back to the bins, all the guys ran over and grabbed it. "Where were you guys?" I asked as I saw Tyler's hair. "Can't talk right now, mind if we borrow this kelp? Thanks, bye!" Eric says before running off with the guys. I furrow my eyebrows as I see them run away.
"Was that, Tyler and Brody? Working together?" Gina asked. "Yep." I nodded as I used my tongue to fix my lip ring. "We should definitely look into this Tyler-Brody thing." Lizzie nods.
