Yes, I know it's not exactly saddening or a quote about sadness but it is something I wrote in a text to someone moments before posting this.

No matter if anyone says they forgive me I still lost their trust and respect. Even if I gain it back it could never be as good as it once was. It could be you, it could be her, it could be the Queen of England or Benedict fucking Cumberbatch, I don't care. Because at one point they hated me, and if you ever hate someone at one point you always will keep that grudge of hate. You might forget about the hatred you harbor but it will always be there.
