"I Get You. Nobody Else does."
Ink was always the kind of kid with an impressive imagination. Ink could think of things that nobody had ever heard of. All it took was a pencil and some paper.
While she was talented in art, smart, and most say incredibly nice, she had no friends.
And that was how she liked it. Sure, she was labeled as odd for not talking to many people but, she was oblivious to their abhorrent whispers.
Her mother was worried as Ink hadn't made any friends when she was put in school. It's not that she's weird or usually introverted, she was actually pretty talkative if she liked you enough.
It's that, she doesn't want friends. She knows they'll leave her or betray her or even just, not care.
"Sweetheart, did you join any clubs like I asked?" Her mother asked.
Ink took out her contacts.
"Yes mother." She answered, putting her glasses on. "I joined art club."
"Good job kiddo. Proud of ya." Her father said.
"All I did was sign a sheet." Ink said plainly.
She retreated to her room and sighed happily. Kicking her shoes off and putting on some calming music.
Her brother walked in without knocking.
"Hey, my friends are coming over. Stay out of our way." He said.
Ink merely nodded and started drawing. What would her mind make up today?
She began drawing a skeleton boy. She found herself enchanted and... almost in love with his design.
She began coloring him. She colored his bones black. His tear markings were a nice royal blue and his eyes were a combination of red and yellow and one of the pupils was also blue.
His jacket was dark blue with a black gradient mixed in. His sweater red, his sweatpants black with gold lines. His shoes were just tennis shoes. And a brand she had created.
She signed it. All that was left was his name. She decided to draw and color him on her tablet as she thought.
Just her luck, the tablet had crashed with a blue screen with only the words 'Error 404'.
"...Error." She said, thinking.
She went back to her drawing and wrote his name on the paper.
"Welcome to my world, Error."
The next morning her alarm beeps, signaling its time to prepare for classes.
Why seven in the morning?
Ink often asked this question and not only to herself. Her mother would laugh softly and say that it was so she could learn to awaken for a job.
Her father usually scoffed and said Ink didn't need school. She was smart enough.
Her brother just told her to leave him alone and figure it out. Sometimes she also questions if she's loved by her brother.
"Ink, honey, don't forget, you have art club today!" Her mother exclaimed.
"I am aware. Thank you mother."
Ink took her things and began her walk. She looked to her side and a boy, with charcoal black bones, blue tear markings, and red and yellow and blue eyes was walking with her.
She gasped. The boy she had drawn was next to her. Lively and not inanimate.
She touched his arm. He looked to her and laughed.
"Hey there shorty." He smiled.
Ink blushed. His voice was as imagined. Deep and smooth with a touch of goofiness.
She couldn't help but smile at him. She was even more enchanted seeing him in person. She did not however believe in love at first sight so that wasn't happening.
Yet.
"Um... I don't quite know you. And you don't seem like you want it but, a... romantic relationship is not on the table right now"
He chuckled and kissed her hand. A slight blush crept across her cheeks.
"Well, you could be if you say I can.~" He said, flirtatious but, jokingly.
Ink giggled.
"You have already proven to be as I imagined." She said.
He gave her a gente and genuine smile.
"And You've proven to be absolutely adorable."
"Don't push it." Ink warned.
He nodded. Ink didn't see him at school. Or, in school. He was always outside... watching her. She honestly didn't mind.
After school and art club, they walked home.
"You must meet my mother, she will be thrilled to see I've made a friend."
Error nodded.
"Ink! Dear, welcome home! How was school? Did you make any friends?" She asked.
"Yes, He is right beside me."
Her mother looked. She couldn't see anyone. Ink, however began talking to Error.
Her mother did not know what to do. She knew Ink had been having visual hallucinations since summer. But Ink didn't know.
"Oh... Ink, baby, I don't think your friend is..."
"I'm going to take him to see my room." Ink said, not letting her finish.
"Your room is very nice." He said.
Ink smiled.
"I'm glad you like it. You can come over again tomorrow. I have to do homework right now."
And with that he was gone. Ink didn't remember him leaving but shrugged it off.
That night she had a rather... sensual dream. And About Error. She was confused but, didn't question it. Error walked in and hugged her. It had already felt like they'd known each other for ever and ever.
And to them, this felt right. After a few months, hugging turned to kissing, kissing turning into making out.
Ink always noticed something strange though. He was light and it felt like kissing nothing. Hugging nothing.
Part two? Maybe? Three requests.
