Dying!Ink x Error

This is a prequel to the Dead!Ink x Error

"Don't close your eyes! Please don't close your eyes!" Error begged his dying wife. He took off the rope around her neck that he cut. "Baby stay with me!" He cried. Ink looked at him. "...I love you." She mumbled.

Error POV
I held Ink close as she started breathing slower. The ambulance finally got here and they rushed her to the hospital. I sat with her for ten hours before she held my hand and picked up a pill bottle. "...Inky...?" I asked.

Ink POV
I'm tired of this! The voices! The scars! The emotional pain! I had no other way out. I grabbed a pill bottle and Errors hand. "This isn't your fault... I love you and the kids more than anything." I told him. He had tears streaming down his face, sobbing, shaking, gripping my arm as if I'd be dust at any second. When he was looking at the floor, I swallowed the pills. All of them. Every single one of them. I laid down and looked at him. The kids came in with Error's mom. I smiled as I saw them one last time.

Gradient POV
Pj and dad were crying two oceans while I just sat by mom. I held her other hand. "...are you happy...?" I asked. "Are you happy with what you've done..." I glanced at the empty pill bottle. "It'll all be over soon baby... I won't hurt anymore... be strong." She whispered. I saw her start to close her eyes. "Mom no!" I cried. Tears started forming in my eyes as well. The heart rate monitor went in a straight line. I gasped as she fell limp and slowly turned to dust. Dad screamed in pure grief as grandma hugged him. Pj hugged me. "Where'd mama go...?" He asked. I turned him away from the dust pile and grabbed mom's scarf. I didn't know how to react. At first I was scared, the. It morphed to grief and confusion.

Error POV
I punched the wall hard. My mom stopped me. "Stop, your children are right there! They are scared and confused just like you!" She said. I looked at the boys. Gradient was holding Ink's scarf while Pj was looking at the dust pile. I sighed and thought of what to do.

*two weeks later*

We scattered Inks dust across her belongings. Most of it was art supplies and clothing. We put her stuff in the basement as a memorial. We could see it whenever we walked down there.
