Attacks
My breathing is uneven. I'm shaking so bad that my knees give out beneath me. Tears cascade down my face. There is no one around. I pull my legs to my chest and hide my face from the watching shadows. My once quiet thoughts now screaming and making my head spin. The shadows whisper, closing in around my vision. Then everything turns to black. Leaving me to listen and succumb to the ever present voices telling me my darkest secrets.
It feels like I'm flying. No, falling, I'm falling. I can't see where to. Down some sort of hole? Everything is black. Suddenly I hit the ground, or something hard, and pain surges through my entire body. I try to scream but it comes out like I'm underwater. My lungs fill with something that sets them on fire. My pitiful scream turns into gags and I try to gasp for the air my lungs crave but am met with more pain.
I let out a loud gasp as I jerk up from my place on the floor. I take a deep breath to sooth my throbbing head. I look at the time on the wall. I was out for about six hours. Guess this is a good day.
