"Holy fucking shit!" (y/n) gasps loudly as she blinks, looking around to see that she was standing on the pathway in Hawkins. Normal Hawkins and not Upside Down Hawkins. She quickly pats herself, letting out a breath of relief that she wasn't injured or anything. She quickly holds her necklace, looking down to see the gem bright and clear again.

Oh Billy, where are you?

She looks around to see that night had fallen, out by herself with bare feet and shivering from the cold wind that blew around her dress. "Where am I?" She didn't recognise the street since it was too dark, trying to go through her memories of when she was being controlled. They were fuzzy but she could remember the group planning to take down Vecna at his house.

Then to the house I go...?

(y/n) was about to cross the street when she just dodged a car that raced down the road, recognising the face of one of the boys that yelled at her to be the douchebags that were friends with Jason and a terrible feeling sunk in her stomach. "Shit..." she looks around, finding a bat on the lawn of some house and starts running down the road to where the car drove

"You fucking idiots!" Billy hisses out as he swings down the axe against the vines that trapped the grownups, them choking and coughing hard for air when they fall to the floor as the vines screech and slither away.

"Hargrove?" Steve croaks out, gasping in shock and absolute relief that he was going to die as the guy swung his axe around.

"What are you doing here?" Nancy asks.

"Who fucking cares! He saved our asses!" Robin gasps happily, crying in relief and she was about to hug the man but thinks otherwise.

"Where are the others!?" Billy snaps.

"The kids... they're at the house in Hawkins. Eddie and Dustin are here at the trailer." Steve slowly stands up, rubbing his throat. "Wait, where are you going!?" he calls out when Billy runs out of the house.

"Continue with the plan! I need to get Max and (y/n)!" Billy runs down the road, wary of the circling herd of demonic bats that was above him, hearing screaming ahead of him and he bolts down the road.

"Eddie!" Billy hears one of the kids screaming, breaking out into the clearing to see a swarm of bats flying away from the trailer and chasing Eddie.

"Erica!" (y/n) gasps when she sees one of the douchebags chase after the poor girl as she cries and runs away, the older girl chasing after them as the boy pins down the little Sinclair. "STAY AWAY FROM HER!" (y/n) screams out as she swings the bat hard, it cracking against the head of the douchebag as he falls flat on the ground. Erica cries as she stumbles away, looking at (y/n) in fear and she quickly drops the bat. 

"Stay away-"

"-I'm not being controlled. Erica, I promise it's me. Billy saved me." (y/n) kneels down on the ground, her hands on her chest and the little Sinclair notices how the older girl's eyes weren't dull anymore.

"(y/n)?" she whispers, unsure but the older nods. "Oh god!" Erica lets (y/n) hug her tightly, the older letting the little one cry against her shoulder.  "He-" her words get cut off from her terrified sobs and (y/n) pulls her closer.

"I'm not letting anyone hurt you again. I'm so sorry I couldn't get here fast enough." (y/n) whispers, soothing Erica's hair. She was too young to go through all of this... "I'm sorry..." she says, leaning back to wipe the little one's cheeks. "I'm so sorry."

"Jason, he's in there with Lucas and Max and-"

"-run. Erica just run ok. I need you to go to Eddie's trailer and help Dustin and Eddie. They need help ok. Take a bike but please hurry. I'll take care of him." Erica nods hesitantly watching as (y/n) stood up and picked up the bloody bat before she runs into the house, the little Sinclair does as she says and bikes it to Eddie's trailer. (y/n) runs up the stairs to the attic and slams the door open, seething to see her kids being harmed and she picks up the gun that fell from Jason's hand.

"What the fuck-"

"-let him go. Now." he turns to look at the deranged girl that was holding a bloody bat, carefully letting Lucas go when he sees the gun in her hand.

"Let's not get too crazy here..." Jason mumbles out, stepping away from the boy with his arms raised.

"Stop!" (y/n) yells out, seeing how close Jason was to stepping on Max's headphones. Jason seethes and takes this chance of distraction to charge (y/n) but she shoots him and he screams out in pain.

"You fucking bitch!" Jason yells out, holding his leg as he crumbles to the floor.

"Don't make me shoot you again." (y/n) hisses. "Be glad it wasn't your chest 'cause then you'll bleed out. Your leg however, well... you'll survive with one less." Jason grits his teeth as this crazy girl stood over him. "I want you to never go near my kids again. You fucking hear me. If I hear that you even glance at them, I will finish you off. No one, and I mean no one, hurts my fucking kids." Lucas watches with wide eyes at (y/n), her referring to him and his friends as her children. He stumbles slightly when (y/n) suddenly passes him the gun. "Keep a look out on this guy."

"But-" Lucas quickly shuts up, eyes widening when Max starts to lift. "Max!"

"Shit!" (y/n) runs to grab the headphones, playing the song and jumping up to put it on Max. "I'm coming Max!" She pulls her back down, holding her to her chest in a tight hug as she blacks out herself. 

(y/n) gasps as she falls to the floor, blood soaking her arms as she finds herself back in the Upside Down-no in Vecnas mind. She silently stands up, taking hold of a broken stair banister when she hears Eleven crying. (y/n) crept towards the clearing, a finger to her lips to signal Max and Eleven to be quiet and she runs to stab Vecna while he was too busy with his stupid monologue. 

Vecna groans out in pain as the banister rips through him. "You know, people should just kill the villains silently without signalling that they're there. End things quicker!" (y/n) growls out as she pushes the banister further, Vecna growling in pain as he falls to the floor. She pants out as she steps back, her heart racing that this will give Max some time to save her while the others burn Vecnas body but she freezes in fear when he starts laughing.

"Did you really think, that this would do anything to stop me?"

"(y/n)! No!" Eleven and Max cry out as she chokes, clawing at her throat when Vecna lifts her up from the floor. 

He pulls (y/n) closer to him, gripping her jaw. "Are you willing to die again? To die for your new family?"

"If it means that they stay safe... always!" (y/n) hisses out, headbutting Vecna hard and he drops her. "I've lost my family once! I'm not losing them again! I'm not letting anyone die again because of me! I'm not letting you hurt my kids!" she screams out as she body slams Vecna, them tumbling away from the girls but he gets annoyed and flings her away from him.

"Stop! Stop hurting her!" Max yells out as (y/n) cries out in pain, pinned against a boulder by this strong force that left her immobilised.

"You are an insolent pest that never seems to die. I'll make you watch as I kill your supposed children." Vecna snaps at (y/n) and she begs him to stop as he walks over to Max.

"No! No! Stay away from her! Max!"

"Don't be afraid. Try and stay very still. It will all be over soon."

"No!" (y/n) yells out, crying as Vecna raises his claws over Max. "I SAID LET HER GO!" A sharp banshee scream rips from (y/n), the ground shattering beneath her as her scream breaks through the air and sets her free from the force holding her down.

"Shit!" Billy screams out in pain from the sharp sound that rips through the air, covering his ears and falling to the floor. He grits his teeth as he sees the bats all shriek in agony and drops to the floor too, Eddie screaming out in pain from the sound as well but he was unharmed by the bats. "Move Munson!" Billy yells out, getting up and running to the man to grab his hand and pull him back to the trailer. "I don't fucking care what suicide mission you were thinking of trying to go through but not today!" Billy growls out as he throws Eddie into the trailer, closing the door but sees the lump of mattress sheets on the floor. "You cut the fucking rope!?"

"Don't worry! We got you!" Erica exclaims as she and Dustin peek their head beneath the gate for the boys to see. "(y/n) told me you guys needed help and good thing too!"

"(y/n)'s ok!?" Billy breathes out in relief, feeling his heart thumping against his chest.

"Yes. Girl went full-on psycho on one of Jason's goons! I think he's dead!" Erica says as she throws the new rope she helped Dustin make through the gate for the boys to climb through.

"You idiot! What were you thinking!" Dustin exclaims when Eddie falls through first, jumping on him to hug him.

"I didn't want to run away like a coward anymore..." Eddie whispers softly, clinging onto the boy tightly.

"(y/n) is going to kill you if she finds out you tried to do that." Erica says, Eddie moving away to let Billy fall through the gate.

"Where is she?"

"At Vecna's house. Jason is there too with Lucas and your sister!" the little Sinclair says.

"Are you sure? That scream sounds like her." Dustin says, wincing at the sound and everyone looks through the gate again.

"Shit!"
