"Are you girls ready?" Billy calls out from the bathroom, buttoning up his shirt and fixing his hair. He peeks behind him to see (y/n) pulling on some jeans and a long sleeve shirt before putting on his denim jacket. He smirks and walks out, pulling her back into his chest as he kissed her neck, earning a sweet sigh from her.
"Love..." (y/n) blushes, holding his hands that were wrapped around her as he littered kisses against her shoulder.
"Fuck I missed you, missed holding you like this." Billy kisses her cheek, smiling at her flushed appearance in the mirror in front of them before turning (y/n) around and pulling her against him.
"I missed you too. It was lonely back home..." she runs her hands through his hair, leaning up to press her lips against his. Billy wastes no time kissing (y/n) back immediately, a hand on her hip and the other holding her cheek as he tilts her head. Heat shudders through him from the soft moan that spills from her lips, kissing her deeper as his hand on her hip move down to grasp her ass.
"Ok, I'm ready-whoa! I did not want to see this first thing in the morning guys!" Max shrieks out, covering her eyes as (y/n) quickly moves away but Billy pulls her back to steal one more quick kiss. "Can we go!? We're going to be late!" Max rolls her eyes and walks away, the couple chuckling softly before walking out with the kid.
"Hat and glasses darling." (y/n) catches the accessories Billy passes to her, putting them on.
"Thanks love."
"You two are so sweet it's sickening." Max sticks her tongue out, laughing when her brother grabs her shoulders and messes up her hair. "Knock it off!" he drags her outside to the cars, deciding to take his Californian baby out for a drive that (y/n) surprisingly drove all the way to Hawkins. Max jumps in the back as (y/n) gets into the front passenger, Billy revving the engine before driving off. There was a song playing on the radio and (y/n) turned it up, carefully taking her walkman off when she didn't hear the chimes.
Oh, thank god.
Peace and quiet for once.
The girls sang loudly to the music as (y/n) looked out the window, trying to recognise the streets that they drove by and Billy smiles at the scene. It really felt like nothing had changed, but somehow did for the better.
"Do you recognise anything (y/n)?" Max shifts up on her seat, leaning over.
"I'll let you know if I do now sit down before something happens-" Billy accelerates suddenly causing Max to fall back in her seat and he laughs. "Something like that." (y/n) sighs disapprovingly.
"You're an ass Billy!" Max groans out, him parking in the school car park.
"That's the high school right." (y/n) points out to the building in front of her.
"Yep!" Max jumps out, dodging the car that drives past her.
"Just go be yourself!" Billy and (y/n) lean over as they hear the driver yell out from that car, looking at each other before chuckling.
"Bye Max, we'll see you later today!" (y/n) waves to the redhead as she runs off, saying hi to a young man who gets out of his car.
"Do you remember him?" Billy asks, pointing to the guy and (y/n) rubs her neck.
"Um, you told me that's Steve right? From the pictures. And that's Robin I think."
"No memories?" (y/n) shakes her head but goes rigid when Steve walks up to the car.
"'Sup Hargrove. Who's this?" Steve narrows his eyes at the girl, wondering who she was in Billy's car. He was more confused than anything. He thought Billy loves (y/n) but to see him with another girl didn't settle right with him. Especially after everything that had happened so far. It was too quick, even for Billy.
"A friend of (y/n)'s from California. She heard what happened and asked if she could visit the town." Steve nods hesitantly in slight relief that there wasn't anything going on at the moment, bringing his hand out for the girl to shake.
"Nice to meet you. The names Steve Harrington. We-the group were close friends with (y/n)." she shook Steves's hand, smiling.
"You can call me (d/n). I'm glad (y/n) had some friends here when she left home."
"Well (d/n), nice to meet you. I'm-we're sorry. She was a great friend, we all miss her." Steve frowns, letting her hand go. (y/n) nods, watching him walk off after saying goodbye and she felt bad for putting through the ones that knew her through pain.
"Hey, maybe we can tell the group one by one..." Billy rubs her knee, noticing her sad frown. "I know they would take this secret to the grave."
"Nice joke." (y/n) rolls her eyes with a small smile as he reverses out of the car park and drives off. "So what's the plan before the basketball game?"
"Well, I wanted to take you around to all the places we spent time together. What do you say?" Billy looks over at (y/n), taking her hand in his and bringing it up to kiss the back of it.
"I would love that."
~~~~~~~~
"You sure this is a good idea?" Billy asks as he and (y/n) get out of his car, his love holding a bag of fast food for Max that she bought.
"Yeah, why not. What kid wouldn't be ecstatic to get fast food during lunch? We can just go in, drop it off and leave again."
"Darling, even though I returned all your savings back to you, the first thing you buy is food?" Billy chuckles, wrapping an arm around (y/n) as she makes sure her hat and sunnies are on properly and he does the same with his sunnies. There were a couple of girls ogling at Billy as he smokes, a couple of guys looking at (y/n) and that didn't make Billy happy. He blows out smoke before kissing (y/n)'s neck making her gasp and the attention they had on them moves away.
"Food is the best so yes." the couple walk towards the high school, heading towards the cafeteria to find Max. The redhead walks across the room, looking over at the doors to see her brother and her friend waving at her. "Hey kid." Max beams and runs over, hugging (y/n) tightly as she chuckles. "Got some takeout for you. Though you might like to share this with the others."
"They're hanging out with their stupid clubs right now."
"Which ones?" Max nods to the table far away in the back with the jocks and the one near them with punk rock-looking kids. "I think that's Lucas over there right?" (y/n) asks, trying to remember the names linked to the pictures back at home, seeing the kid hang out with the jocks and Max nods. "And that's Dustin?" (y/n) nods to the curly-haired kid with the punks and Max confirms yes. Her eyes move over the club members and she lowers her sunnies when her eyes land on a specific male, him wearing a leather jacket and a denim vest on top. Billy raises a brow at his love, glancing over to see who she was looking at and he crosses his arms. "Oh, he's cute." the male looks over at (y/n) from his table and winks at her, his long curly brown hair framing his face as his ring-clad fingers rubbed over his lips sensually.
Billy growls lowly and pulls (y/n) close to him, gripping her hips tightly. "Princess, I would think that you would rather be with this punk than me."
"Love, I'm just saying he's cute. You're mine." she smiles at him, kissing his cheek.
"Ok, I'm just going to go... You two have fun. Thanks for the food!" Max calls out as she runs away.
"We're the freaks because we like to play a fantasy game. But as long as you're into band," the cute guy suddenly stands up on the table, walking across it. "or science...or parties or a," he calls out the cliques and (y/n) chuckles at what was happening. "game where you toss balls into laundry baskets...!" he screams out, sticking his tongue out and imitating devil horns on his head after some jock calls him out as a loser. "It's forced conforming." the guy walks back across the table, looking straight at (y/n). "That's what's..." he jumps off the table, scaring a poor random girl that was walking past him. "killing the kids!" Billy rolls his eyes at the spectacle, moving to take (y/n) away when the cute guy approaches them. "You both look new around here."
"Yeah we're not and we were just about to leave." Billy grits out, holding (y/n) possessively.
"What's the rush. The names Munson. Eddie Munson." Eddie grabs (y/n)'s hand and kisses the back of it. "What's your name sweetheart?" (y/n)'s eyes widen as she looks at Billy who was blank-faced at the moment, worried about what he was thinking about until he smirks.
"I'm (d/n) cutie." (y/n) smiles at Eddie and he grins.
"Man, you got lucky. She's a sweetie."
"I sure am. She's my princess." Billy growls lowly in (y/n)'s ear, nipping against her neck and Eddie smirks when she gasps. Oh, he liked that sound from her. "As fun as this was, we gotta bounce." (y/n) nods and walks off after Billy tells her to go to the car and he'll meet her there. She turns around to see Billy talk to Eddie but not being able to hear what it was about, them shaking hands before walking away from each other and he walks up to her.
"What did you two talk about?"
"Nothing darling." Billy wraps his arm around h (y/n)'s shoulders, pulling her towards the car to take her across Hawkins again.
