"Tom, give me some time. I will tell you everything when I come back. Okay?"

Kongpob took a deep breath.

"Yes Tom. I promise I'll come there soon. Okay, bye."

Kongpob sighed as he looked at his phone.

It was the fourth time Tom was calling him to come back or tell him what really happened. Kongpob doesn't know what he should do. He didn't want to go back, at the same time he doesn't feel like telling anything to Tom.

Kongpob placed his phone on the table and walked to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

He watched Lia from his kitchen who was watching TV, sitting close to the screen.

'Lia! Sit away from the TV! Your eyesight will be affected!" Kongpob shouted from the kitchen.

Kongpob shook his head when Lia didn't move from her place. Lia would never listen anything when her favorite show Dora goes on the TV.

"LIA!" Kongpob called out a second time, but Lia didn't move from her place.

Kongpob walked towards her and tapped on her shoulder.

"What is it, Mommy?"

Lia asked, without taking her eyes off from the TV.

"Don't sit so close, Lia. Move back."

"I want to sit here!"

Kongpob sighed. He didn't want his daughter to wear spectacles at a young age.

"Lia, Mommy told one time! Go and sit on the sofa,"

"No!" Lia said, stubbornly.

Kongpob became angry, he was not a person who easily got angry at Lia but all the talks with Tom and his confusion on what decision he has to make, balled up as anger.

Kongpob took the remote and turned the TV off.

"Mommy! MY Dora!" Lai shouted as she stood up.

Kongpob glared at his daughter.

"Liane, I told you not to sit so close! How much time have I told you? I don't want you to become blind!" Kongpob scolded Lia.

Lia rolled her eyes, she knew whenever Kongpob her by her full name, he would be very angry.

Lia turned around and stormed her feet towards the sofa, with her sulking face.

Kongpob sighed as he turned the TV on.

"Mommy!"

Lia screamed in disbelief when she found her favorite show was over. She looked at Kongpob who looked at her apologetically.

Kongpob was about to walk to Lia when he heard the doorbell ring.

He sighed before be walked to the door and open it.

Arthit who had a smile on his face when the door opened soon frowned seeing his lover's dull face.

"Kongpob, what happened?"

Kongpob looked at the man infront of him and sighed.

"Nothing P'Arthit, Lia is just angry with me. I just scolded her for sitting close to the TV." He explained as he invited Arthit inside.

Arthit chuckled as he looked at Lia who refused to look at him, her hands on her chin, her lips pouting as she gazed at her feet.

Arthit walked to her daughter and tapped on her shoulder, but she moved away from Arthit.

Arthit chuckled, he sat close to Lia and sat with his face in his hands.

"I heard Mommy scolded you, is it?"

Lia looked at her Daddy and slightly nodded her head.

"Lia, baby, Mommy said it for your good na. He doesn't want his little princess to keep spectacles," He explained as he bumped their nose together.

Lia was still upset but she nodded her head.

"Let's do one thing! I will take you out and we will eat form McDonald's! We will not take Mommy with us, that's his punishment for scolding my princess, what do you say?"

Lia looked at Arthit and jumped with excitement.

"Yes Daddy!" Lia squealed.

Arthit smiled and looked at Kongpob who was standing beside them.

"Kongpob, don't make my princess upset again. This is your punishment for making my Lia sad. When we eat delicious McDonald's fried chicken you will eat homemade food. Do I make myself clear?" Arthit said as he pointed his finger at his lover playfully.

Kongpob pouted and nodded his head.

"Yes my lord," he bowed his head.

Lia laughed seeing her Mommy pouting. She looked at Kongpob and pulled her tongue out at him making the latter pout more playfully.

"I will change my dress! Wait for me, Daddy!" She said as she kissed her Daddy's cheeks and ran to the bedroom.

"You will spoil her, P'Arthit," Kongpob said as she shook his head. A chuckle escaping through his lips.

Arthit smiled and stood up and back hugged his lover.

"I have something to tell you, Kong," Arthit said as he turned Kongpob to face him.

"What is it, P?"

Arthit fidgeted in his place. He wiped his sweating palms on his jeans.

"There is someone you have to meet."

Kongpob raised an eyebrow.

Arthit asked Kongpob to walk him to the door. Kongpob with a confusing expression on his face walked along with Arthit.

Arthit looked at Kongpob once again before he opened the door.

"P, come inside."

Kongpob stared at Arthit in confusion, but his expression changed into pure shock as he looked at the tall man infront of him.

Kongpob walked back, hiding behind Arthit as he clutched onto his lover's shirt.

"Daddy, I'm ready!" Lia ran towards Arthit.

"Daddy, who is this?" Lia asked as she looked at the tall man in a blue shirt and white pants, looking at her with emotion.

Arthit gazed at the man beside her and his lover who didn't even blink his eyes, he noticed Kongpob's lips quivering.

"He is one of Mommy's relative. We'll talk to him after we return back, okay?Come on let's go."

Lia nodded her head and walked out of the door.

"Bye,Mommy!" She waved at Kongpob before she rushed to the elevator.

Arthit looked at the two men beside him and sighed.

"Take your time," He said before he walked out of the door.

The tall man closed the door and took a deep breath.

"K...Ko..Kong...."

The tall man's voice quivered as he spoke.

He walked to Kongpob who and tears in his eyes ready to drop.

A tear dropped from the tall man's eyes as he walked towards Kongpob and engulfed him in a tight hug.

Kongpob closed his eyes tightly, letting the tears drop as he buried his face on the man's shoulder.

"P'Noel..." A sob escaped from his mouth.

A small smile appeared on the elder man's face.

"I've been waiting for years to hear you call me like that, little brother."

Kongpob hugged his elder brother tightly and cried in his shoulder.

"I'm sorry, P. I'm so sorry! I ruined your life to protect mine. I'm a useless brother! I'm sorry P!" Kongpob sobbed.

Noel caressed his younger brother's back.

"No, Kong. Please don't say that. You are the best brother anyone would have. I know everything, Kong. I know everything. You did only what any other parent might have done." Noel assured his brother.

Kongpob loosened his hug and wiped his tears.

"P'Arthit told you everything?" Kongpob asked.

Noel shook his head.

Noel explained how he was having a doubt when he saw Kongpob at the mall that day with Aim. He told his brother how he understood it was when Kongpob pulled Aim with him, away from them.

Noel explained how he was trying to contact Aim, for many weeks and finally he got to know that Aim was working in an overseas company and was now in Thailand with a partner names Krisia Prachaya for business purposes. He told him he met Aim and he told everything to him, from the beginning of the love story between Arthit and his little brother.

"Aim? But, why didn't he tell me anything?" Kongpob asked his brother who only smiled at him.

"He didn't want you to overthink everything. He told me Arthit and his friends got to know about you and you were dealing with them. Aim didn't want you to worry so much."

Kongpob sighed.

Things didn't go as he has expected, everything was out of his hand. He tried to write his own plot of his life, but now his life itself was out of his hands.

"Kong, did Mae and Pa really do like that?" Noel asked, his voice filled with emotions.

Kongpob chuckled bitterly.

"They only wanted their elder son who brought fortunes to them, they didn't want this child who has born without their wish. I'm just a useless toy for them."

Noel felt was as if a knife had passed through his heart when he heard Kongpob's words.

"You are not useless, Kong. Not me, not to your daughter or not to your lover boy. You are a precious gem for us. Pa and Mae are close-minded, they only look at money, but they fail to know that money can't buy everything in life."

Noel looked at his little brother who was having an emotionless face. From the time Kongpob was born into this world, no one really cared for him. And that made Noel's heartache in pain. He doesn't know what bad did Kongpob do to receive such torchering.

Noel engulfed Kongpob in a tight hug making the younger startle at the sudden contact. Kongpob could feel his shirt become wet.

"P, are you crying?" Kongpob asked as he hugged his brother back.

Noel chuckled and shook his head, he pulled away and wiped his tears.

"You are really lucky, Kong. Arthit loves you more than you imagine." Noel said with a smile.

Kongpob's face turned red the compliment, his lips stretching into a smile.

"You know? Arthit came to me a few days back and begged me to meet you. I was hesitant at first because you know? According to what Aim told me, he said he will contact me when he tells everything to you. But Arthit, he was persistent. He asked me to meet you because he didn't want to see you in pain anymore." Noel said.

Kongpob's eyes filled with tears, he felt hurt for leaving Arthit like that years ago thinking he would be in trouble. But now he feels if he had told Arthit everything, he would be with him and try to get through this.

But time has passed, what lost is lost, now Kongpob was determined to make their present and future wonderful.

"Arthit told me that you and Aim are planning to back to New York, is it?" Noel asked his brother.

Kongpob sighed, he massaged his temples.

"Yeah, actually I didn't decide yet what to do."

Noel sighed.

"What is there to choose? You want Arthit with you, right? He had even told me that he was ready to leave everything behind and come with you and your daughter."

Kongpob shook his head.

"It's not easy, P. You see? This land had given me both happiness and misery. This happiness is rooting me here while the misery I felt here is telling me to go back and never ever return. I don't want Mae and Pa to find me again, P. We can't predict how they will react if they know their son is with a man. For them, I might not be their son but according to the eyes of society, I am their son. I know Pa and Mae more than you, P'Noel." Kongpob's voice started to shake as he thought about his parents.

"And about P'Arthit, I don't want him to leave everything because of me. This company is his and his friends' hard work and determination. He lost and suffered through these past years because of me, I don't want him to lose anything more."

Noel was silent for a minute as he thought about Kongpob's words. For him this was a new side of his brother, he always thought his brother to be weak and immature.

But he was wrong. Kongpob was more strong than him. Kongpob was more mature than him in many ways. Kongpob was strong enough to take a risk and leave the love his life behind for his safety. He was strong enough to give birth to a child and raise it without anyone's help.

And knowing his brother was alone all through these years even if there were his two friends to take care of him, made his heartburn in pain.

"Why don't you stay here, Kongpob. Leave everything there. Come stay with Arthit. I and Arthit will protect you from our parents. Start a new life with Arthit, marry him. Your daughter also needs this."

Kongpob blinked his eyes. He had thought about staying here. But he didn't have a job and it was hard to get one in this busy city. He was more than sure that Arthit will give him a job in his own company but he didn't want to bother him.

"Kongpob, stop overthinking. I know what you are thinking about and it is a waste of time. Arthit will never think of you as a burden," Noel stared at his brother.

"I know, but everything this too sudden. And my boss has been calling me for the past three days telling me to arrive there fast."

"You quit your job, Kong. And work here. You can come either in your lover's company or you can come to our company. You are the blood of Suttilak Kong." Noel said.

Kongpob snorted.

"The only thing I regret is being a Suttilak."

Noel sighed at his brother's statement. He knows how much Kongpob hates his family. Noel gritted his teeth in anger, his palm turning into a fist.

"I will make sure Mae and Pa will pay for this. You will get what you want Kong, I am the owner of the Suttilak group now and I have the rights to take the decision. I will make sure that there is a person in our family who has the right to have a part in our earnings," Noel said, his voice filled with determination.

Kongpob widened his eyes at his brother's change, he know if Noel decides something he will make sure it is done unless Kongpob ask for.

"No P, I don't want any share from our family. I didn't love them for their money. If you can do something for me, I only want Mae and Pa to accept me as who I am and love me like how they loved you and our sister. I only want them to love me without any hatred in their mind, P. If you can do that, please do it for me."

Noel's heart ached to see Kongpob's vulnerable face, there were tears in the corner of his eyes. He couldn't believe that even after all these incidents Kongpob just wants his parents to love him. He didn't show any hatred.

Noel hugged his brother and patted his back.

"I will look after everything, Kong. You just...just...just be happy, okay?"

Kongpob nodded his head and smiled.

"How much time I have been crying now! I'm a fool, you know!"

Noel chuckled at his brother and ruffled his hair.

"Tell me about you, P. Did you finally find any interest in love?" Kongpob asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

Noel laughed.

"Well, you can say yes..."

"Really!? Oh god! I thought you were going to end up old in a big house with 10 cats!" Kongpob sighed in relief.

Noel shook his head as he saw his brother's antics.

"Who is she? How long have you been together!?" Kongpob asked in excitement.

"Her name is Sarah, I found her first outside a bar when a group of men was harassing her. I rescued her from them. She is from a poor background, she was working at the bar as a bartender. She has a mom who is sick. But she is educated, but she couldn't find work at any place. Most of the employers discerned her because of her poor background, I gave her a job in our company. And it's been 3 years since we have been dating," Noel said with a small smile.

Kongpob mirrored back the expression.

"Does Mae and Pa know?" Kongpob asked he had a bad feeling about this somehow.

Noel sighed. He didn't want to make Kongpob worried but the stare his brother was giving him forced him to say.

"Pa doesn't have any problem, but Mae does. She thinks Sarah is not good for me. And if you know the reason you will think she is insane." Noel chuckled bitterly.

Kongpob raised his eyebrows.

"Mae said she is not good for our social status. She only wants me to marry a rich family not a downcast family like Sarah's. She has been trying to separate us. She even tried to fire Sarah from work but I managed to handle it."

Kongpob shook his head in disappointment as he heard how his mother was not only torchering him but also his brother.

"You don't worry about us now, try to think about now. You should soon make a decision to whether to stay here or not." Noel said as he squeezed his brother's shoulder.

Kongpob looked at his elder brother before he stood up and walked to the window. His gaze fixed on the moon at the sky.

"I will book a ticket tomorrow, I have made my decision," a small smile appeared on Kongpob's lips.

Noel stood up and walked to his brother.

"You will come back here, right?"

Kongpob turned towards Noel and smiled.

Noel mirrored the latter's expression before he hugged him.

"Did you eat anything P?" Kongpob asked as both of them released from the hug.

"No, not yet. I should better leave now. Arthit will be back soon, I don't want to interrupt your time," Noel said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"It's okay P, I will make something for you," Kongpob said as he chuckled.

"You? Making food? For me?" Noel's eyes widened.

Kongpob laughed at his brother's  bewildered expression.

"Don't worry P, I won't burn the kitchen down. I'm experienced now."

Kongpob smiled softly at Noel before he went to the kitchen, putting on his apron and working on the dishes.

Noel stared at his brother, he couldn't believe how he has changed. The Kongpob who had once burned the kitchen just to make an egg was now cooking a full meal for him.

Noel couldn't help but feel anger as he thought again and again that all of this happened just because of his parents.

Noel will make sure that he will let his parents pay for this.
