Chapter Six
A man in green and orange ran into the room. "Justice Leaguers, problem in here." The Justice League, minus Young Justice, ran into a separate room, leaving Robin alone with Kid Flash. Wally narrowed his eyes at Dick and stalked in circles around him like a hungry shark. "Sooooo," He said darkly. "New kid, eh? Are you any good? I doubt it. You're too scrawny. How old are you—7?" "Am paisprezece ani, în cazul în care trebuie să ştiţi," Robin said boldly, not realizing his mistake. "What is that, Russian?" Wally said scornfully, sneering. Robin shrank back. "If you must know, it's Romanian. Also, I am fourteen." Robin felt bad about lying—he was only twelve—but it had to be done, to make them respect him. KF snarled at Robin, and then his fist whipped out to punch Dick in the face. A hand was wrapped around his wrist, saving Robin. Embarrassing. "Chill Walls," a blonde girl said coolly, dressed in green with her hand around Kid Flash's wrist. "Why should I?" Wally said. "He's obviously not fourteen. He's a liar!" The girl calmly twisted Wally's wrist until he fell on the ground and let out a yelp. "Because," the girl said, totally poker-faced, "If you two don't become best buddies in about two seconds, I will rip off your arm and use it to beat you into the ground." She let go, and KF ran over to Robin and put his arm around his shoulders, as if they were actually best buddies. The girl smiled. "Good. Now get your super speedy butt out of this room before I beat you." KF ran out of the room like she was holding knives. The girl grinned and shook Robin's hand. "I'm Artemis." He smiled. "Robin." "So, Rob," she said, letting go of his hand. "Who's your secret identity?" He frowned. "Batman said I can't tell anyone."
