Our story begins about a town, a small town, and the people who live in the town. From a distance, it presents itself like so many other small towns all over the world Safe. Decent. Innocent. Get closer, though, and many people start seeing the shadows underneath. The name of the town is Riverdale. It begin with the Blossom twins, Cheryl and Jason Blossom.

On the Fourth of July, last summer, just after dawn, Jason and Cheryl Blossom drove out to Sweetwater River for an early morning boat ride. The next thing everyone know happened for sure is that Dilton Doiley, who was leading Riverdale's Boy Scout Troop on a bird watching expedition, came upon Cheryl by the river's edge. Riverdale Police dragged Sweetwater River for Jason's body, but never found it.

So a week later the Blossom family buried an empty casket and Jason's death was ruled an accident as the story that Cheryl told made the rounds. That Cheryl dropped a glove in the water and Jason reached down to get it. And accidentally tipped the boat. And panicked. And drowned. As for us, we were still talking about the July 4th tragedy on the last day of summer vacation, when a new mystery rolled into town.

But one day, some teenage boys found Jason Blossoms body and saw a gun shot on his forehead. The police tried to figure out who shot Jason Blossom. But then five teenagers have discovered that Clifford Blossom was the person who shot his own son. The police came to arrest him and ask him why but before they could, Clifford Blossom hang himself and commit suicide.

And since then, there was no murder until a new threat came to Riverdale and people try to figure out why is the new threat. Our story begins somewhere at Riverdale, it was a high school called Riverdale High School, where every student can be happy and be themselves. Inside the school, in the gym, there were a group of cheerleaders practicing their routines and one girl was doing great.

The girl is 15 years old, she has long light brown hair with a bit of curls at the bottom, has beautiful brown eyes, she is wear white long sleeve shirt, blue cheerleading shirt that has a yellow R on, a white and blue skirt on, white socks on, and white sneakers on. Her name is Serena Crystal.

She is a straight A student at Riverdale High School, she is a cheerleader from a cheer squad called the River Vixens, and most of all, she is a beautiful and kind girl that loves making friends and giving people a second chance if they want to change.

"Go bulldogs!" Shouted Serena as she did a pose.

Then some of the other cheerleaders have started to clap for her for her amazing chant. Then one of the cheerleaders started to go to her and smile.

The girl has long, wavy ginger-red hair, has dark brown eyes, she has red lipstick on, she wears a white long sleeve shirt, blue cheerleading shirt that has a yellow R on, a white and blue skirt on, white socks on, and white sneakers on. Her name is Cheryl Blossom, she is the captain of the River Vixen, and is one of Serena's best friends.

"That's was wonderful Serena, you really know how to work your stuff." Said Cheryl as she smiles.

"Thanks Cheryl." Said Serena as she smiles.

Then two pretty girls have both started to go to Cheryl and Serena's direction and the two girls are know as one of Serena's best friends.

The first girl has shoulder length blonde hair that she often wears in a tight ponytail, soft washed out green eyes, she wears a white long sleeve shirt, blue cheerleading shirt that has a yellow R on, a white and blue skirt on, white socks on, and white sneakers on. Her name is Betty Cooper, she is writer of the high school newspaper and a cheerleader of the River Vixen.

The second girl next to Betty has medium length, glossy jet-black hair, large expressive brown eyes, she wears a white long sleeve shirt, blue cheerleading shirt that has a yellow R on, a white and blue skirt on, white socks on, and white sneakers on. Her name is Veronica Lodge, she is Serena, Cheryl, and Betty's best friend and she is a cheerleader.

"Wow, Serena that was the most amazing cheers I have ever hear in my life." Said Betty as she smiles at Serena." I mean, you were a really great cheerleader."

"Yeah, you were like really amazing!" Said Veronica as she smiles.

"Thanks girls, that's really sweet of you to say." Said Serena as she smiles." I work really hard on it."

Then after they finished their practice, they all went to the girls locker rooms and started to change into their normal clothes.

Serena is wearing a light pink collared scalloped dress, a white headband on her head, a light blue cropped shrug cardigan on, has a silver locket with a purple gem at the middle, and white heels on. She has has a magenta shoulder bag that hold her school stuff.

Betty is wearing a gray shirt with a white collared around the neck, blue pants on, and brown ankle boots on. She also has a blue backpack around her arms.

Veronica is wearing a dark long sleeve collared dress on, black long leggings on, pearl necklace around, and black heels on. She also has a black shoulder bag over her shoulder.

And Cheryl is wearing a red dress that has a black belt around the waist, has black leggings on, and red heels on. She also has red handbag on her shoulder.

"So Cheryl, how are you holding up, you know, about what happen when we told you that he killed your brother when we saw the footage?" Asked Serena as she looks at Cheryl.

"Well, to be really honest, I was really sad that I come from a very cruel family." Said Cheryl as she frown but then she smiles." But then you and the others were there for me and nothing could make me feel better about having a better family."

"We are always here for you Cheryl." Said Betty as she smiles.

"Yeah, we have got your back." Said Veronica as she smiles.

"Thanks girls." Said Cheryl as smiles and looks at Serena." And thank you Serena, you are the greatest friend I ever had."

"Your welcome Cheryl, I'm always there for you like six years ago when we first met." Said Serena as she smiles.

Six years ago when Serena is nine years old, she met Cheryl at a playground looking so sad, then she decided to comfort her and Cheryl told her why she was sad and Serena and her mother help her through along with Jason before he died.

"Yeah, I remember, you and your mother are like the greatest family I could ever had." Said Cheryl as she smiles.

That got Serena to smile at Cheryl and then she and the girls have started to go to the entrance of the school. But before they go out, two boys have started to go to their direction.

The first boy has messy red hair, brown eyes, he wears a red and grey shirt, a blue and white jacket on with the words bulldogs on the back, blue pants on, and black and white shoes on. His name is Archie Andrews, he is Veronica's boyfriend and friend of Serena.

The second boy next to Archie has short, dark brown 'slicked back' hair, light green eyes, he wears a bluish-grey long sleeve shirt on, blue pants on, and brown boots on. His name is Kevin Keller, he is the son of the sheriff, he is gay, and is friends with Serena.

"Hi Kevin, hi Archie." Said Serena as she smiles.

"Hi Serena, hey there girls, how are you today?" Asked Kevin as he smiles.

"We are doing great, we have just finished our cheer practice and we are about to head home." Said Cheryl as she smiles.

"How about you guys, how are you doing?" Asked Serena as she smiles.

"Everything is going great, we have just practicing for basketball tryouts." Said Archie as he smiles and looks at Veronica." Hi Ronnie."

"Hey Archie." Said Veronica as she and Archie kissed.

"So Serena, are you going to hangout with us at Pop's diner?" Asked Kevin as he smiles.

"I wish I could, but I promise my mom that I will help her around the house." Said Serena as she smiles." But maybe next time."

Then after Serena say goodbye to her friends, she have started to head home while a couple of athletes saw her coming out of the school and whistle at how beautiful she is. Then Archie, Kevin, Betty, Veronica, and Cheryl have all smile at Serena's direction.

"'An, I'm telling you guys, how on earth are we ever so lucky to be friends with a great girl like Serena?" Asked Kevin as he smiles.

"Because she is a kind hearted person that is willing to give people a second chance and let them show her who they truly are." Said Betty as she smiles.

"Man, she must be the most kind hearted and beautiful girl that has ever existed." Said Cheryl as she smiles.

"I wonder if she could ever find her special someone." Said Veronica as she smiles.

"Who knows guys, I mean, she is smart and beautiful, something tells me that she will find someone for her to love like me and Veronica." Said Archie as he wrap his arms around Veronica.

"And me and Jughead." Said Betty as she smiles.

Meanwhile at a small neighborhood, Serena have arrived at her home. Her house was beautiful, and it was big enough for any guest. As she went inside, she saw a woman at the kitchen putting away the dishes.

The woman has dark brown hair that goes to her shoulder, has blue eyes, she wears a green shirt, she wears blue jeans on, and brown ankle boots on. She also has a heart shaped necklace around her neck. Her name is Sabrina Crystal, she is Serena's mother.

"Hi mom, I'm home." Said Serena as she smiles.

"Hi Serena, how was school today?" Asked Sabrina as she smiles.

"School was great, I have just finished my cheerleading practice." Said Serena as she smiles.

"That's great homey, can you please help me with the kitchen?" Asked Sabrina.

"Sure mom." Said Serena as she smiles.

So Serena help her mother clean the kitchen. Then after thirty minutes later, Serena have finished up her homework, then as she walks down the hallway of her house, she saw a picture of man and woman with a baby, and she smile because it was her and her mother when she was a baby with a man looking happy.

The man in the picture has black hair, brown eyes, he wears a flannel red shirt, a black leather jacket, dark blue jeans on, a black belt around his waist, and black boots with straps. His name is Joseph Crystal, he is Serena's father.

Then Serena have started to feel sad. You see, when Serena was just a baby, her father died by trying to save her and her mother from a fire. And ever since then, Serena have never got to know her father. Then a single tear started to come out of Serena's eye. Then Serena's mom came is the room and saw that Serena is looking at the picture.

"You miss your father, don't you Serena?" Asked Sabrina as she looks at her daughter.

"Yeah, I really miss him mom, I really wish that I get to know him." Said Serena as she feels sad.

"I know honey, I miss your father too, I think about him everyday, but you know that he will always be on our hearts." Said Sabrina as she smiles.

"Yeah, that kinda makes me happy." Said Serena as she smiles." I'm going to go for a little walk."

"Okay Serena, but please be careful, you know what really happens after dark, it's dangerous, after what happen a few weeks ago." Said Sabrina.

"I promise mom." Said Serena as she smiles.

So Serena have grab her coat, then she started to go for a walk. Then, as she kept on walking, she arrived at Sweetwater River, where Cheryl and Jason had their last boat ride before Jason died. Then she started to sit down at a rock and look at the river.

"I can't believe that Clifford will hired someone to drown Jason's body after he shot his own son." Said Serena as she frown a bit." I just don't get why will people would do this."

Then as Serena kept on looking at the river, she started to look at the sky, and she starts to think that maybe some people want to be good but other people force them to do bad things for others to judge them.

"I just don't get why other people will force good people to do bad things like how some people force the Southside to do bad things." Said Serena as she looks confused." I mean it's not true to what the Southside people do."

Then Serena have started to remember the times when she help her friends when they have problems. Like how she was always there for her best friend Jughead when he has problems, how she help Archie with his music, how she help Veronica and Betty's problems, how she help Kevin, and how she is always there for Cheryl when she had a hard time with her mother.

"I was always there for my friends whenever they have problems and I will do anything to help them." Said Serena as she looks at the river." I wonder if there is anything I could do to help the Southside people and their problems. But sometimes I wonder how far I'll go."

Then as soon as she Serena have said, all of a sudden, she started to get up and walks a bit closer to the river as music began to play and then she started to sing.

Then all of a sudden, as she kept on singing, the wind have began to blow at her as her wind was blown by the wind and she continued to sing.

Serena: See the light where
The sky meets the river
It calls me
And no one knows
How far it goes
If the wind in
My hair on the sky
Stays behind me
One day I'll know
How far I'll go

Then after Serena finished her song, she started to look at the sky and then she started to smile.

"You know, I know that there is good on everyone and I know for the fact that I will never give up on people who need help." Said Serena as she smiles." I just ever wonder if I could ever find my special someone."

So after Serena have one last look at Sweetwater River, she look at her phone realizing that it's almost time for dinner, so she puts away her phone and she started to walk. Then as she continues to think about helping other people, she doesn't realize that something shocking will happen that might give her the chance to help some people to fit in and that she might fell in love with one of them.

So this is my first ever Riverdale story. I really like the show since I first watch it so please don't judge me in this story, it's my first time writing a story that is based on the show Riverdale. I also like the character Sweet Pea because I have to admit he is so handsome and hot, so please don't judge me and enjoy my story.
