Ethan's pov

I stared at the wall, my body ached from all the beating and rough sexual assault that I kept getting from Jordan. He told me that it had been a week since I disappeared and no was even looking for me anymore after the pronounced me dead yesterday. I felt the tears stream down my face and my throat clinch up slightly as I tried to hold in my sob so I wouldn't attract attention to myself.
Did they really give up so easily? Do they really think I'm dead?
Is it true that no one is even looking for me...??

Tyler's pov

It isn't like Ethan to just disappear for a week straight. They said they found his body and we all went down to take a look to see if it really was him.
At first, I was shocked! I thought I had truly lost the one I had fallen for but then I noticed something wasn't right and quickly pointed it out that whoever we had been looking at was not Ethan Nestor-Darling. The search kept on and it was plastered every where across the United States, by now I was sure somebody had taken him and kept him in like a house or a basement.

My arms were sore from the cuts but I ignored them as I hurried down the street to the spot where people said Ethan was seen for the very last time. It was a very small cafe and I glanced around it, before I entered to ask if anyone inside had see Ethan.
I paused when I saw Jordan at the counter and hurried over, my hands slamming against the counter, "Where is he Jordan!" I growled at him, I had scared several of the customers but I could care less about that and glared at the Latino in front of me, who just gave me a confused look, "Where is who?" I knew he was playing stupid to make me look like I was some crazy fool and I glared at him, "Where is Ethan! I know you know where he is, you piece of shit! Just acting like you don't know is sickening!" "Sir, if you don't calm down I'm going to have to report you to the authorities for disturbing the peace." He replied calmly and I couldn't stop myself as I reached over and jerked him closer to me by his shirt, "If I so much as find that you're lying to me, I will kill you." He just gave a gentle smile at me and shook his head, "I honestly don't know where your friend is. Now please let go of me and leave before I get someone to call the police for threatening my life and disturbing the peace." I tightened my grip slightly before I shoved him backwards, "It wasn't a threat, it was a promise." I glared as I hurried out of the cafe and looked around before calling Mark and letting him know about the cafe where Ethan was last seen and that Jordan worked here.

As much as I wanted to keep Ethan's problem between him and me but now that he was missing I decided the best thing to do was to tell Mark. The police heard and went to Jordan's but after searching his house they found nothing on Ethan.
I walked away from the cafe and told Mark that I was going to wait somewhere outside of the cafe and wait for Jordan to return home, hoping he would lead to Ethan.
"Be careful Tyler, if he did something to Ethan he might do something to you." I heard through his side of the phone, "Well this time someone knows I'm going over there. If I don't call back or anything to inform you want I know in about five hours after Jordan leaves, send the police. I'll leave my location on my phone and keep it in my car." "Tyler, be careful please, I know you are much stronger than Ethan but we don't know what this man is capable of." He expressed through the phone and I nodded before saying, "I'll do the best I can."

~dusk~ (about 9:00 pm)
I watched Jordan leave the cafe after he locked it up. My car was sitting out of sight and it was running as I watched for Jordan to lead me to Ethan. He slipped into his car and started to go down the road, I followed after him doing everything to make it look like I was just a normal car in the busy city of L.A.

Eventually we turned out of the city and down towards Big Bear Mountain. I watched him turn down this road with the pink mailbox and just drove by so it didn't look like I was following him.
Getting far enough away I stopped the car and turned it off before texting Mark that I was going to see if Ethan really was here and that the five hours started now before setting my phone in the glovebox and slipped out of my car as quietly as I could and shut the door before I started towards the pink mailbox.

It was almost silent aside from all the little bugs and other animals out at night. I followed the gravel road down to the cabin that had a light on. I ducked out of sight behind a stack of firewood when Jordan's car came back through the driveway and seemed to leave. After waiting a good minute I ran down to the cabin and looked at the door, jiggling the locked handle before I just rammed my shoulder into it a few times and the wooden door gave in and I stumbled inside.

I glanced around, it was dark and the pale moonlight adding little assistance to my way through the cabin as I started to look around for Ethan.
"Ethan??" I whisper shouted in case there was a chance if Jordan getting back before I found him. I looked everywhere through the cabin and so far it looked pretty normal.

Ethan's pov

Jordan came back and he talked to me about his day, that my friend Tyler had visited him at the cafe and demanded to know where I was. I just tried my best not to cry or anything when he stood back up and stretched, "Well I have to go get things for you and I'll be back for our fun~"
I shivered when he touched my cheek as if he actually cared about me and it really made me uncomfortable. I watched him walk out of the room and heard his car leave before I rested my head against the wall, tears slipped down my face.
Tyler...you still care...
You're still looking for me...
I jumped at the sound of something crashing upstairs and I got really scared, curled up as close to the wall as I could. Heavy footsteps stomped around the upstairs and I frowned, those sounded kind of familiar.
"Ethan?"
I strained to hear the whisper call of my name and tried to figure out who it was. I didn't hear the car come back so was it someone else?
"Down here!!" I yelled as loud as my sore throat would allow me to scream. I heard the footsteps moved over to the door of where I was trapped and I let out a strangled yelp. The door was quickly thrown open and I squinted trying to see who was standing there in the dark.
"Ethan?" I heard Tyler's voice, God I missed hearing that deepish voice of my favorite giant.
"Ty...ler..." My voice cracked as I sobbed, finally I was found!
I heard him relax, start down the stairs and headed over to me, "There's a key, in the draw." I nodded over to the dresser where the key to my shackles were. He changed his direction and started to make his way over to the dresser when out of the corner of my eye I saw something and I tried to warn Tyler but my words caught in my throat as there was a loud crack and Tyler crumpled to the floor.
