Chapter: 38

Akshara: Bade Papa! Badi Mumma! Mimi! AG! Vansh bhaiya! Kairav bhaiya! Aaru! Kahan ho sab?!

Akshara hopped inside Goenka's house like an enthusiastic rabbit. Abhimanyu, Manjiri, Neil and Naina chuckled seeing her excitement. Whereas Harshvardhan and Mahima rolled their eyes in annoyance, and Anand had a faint smile on his face.

It was the first time for Naina to come to Goenka's house, as she hadn't visited them in Udaipur. The time when Akshara's parents, Kartik and Naira got shifted with Kairav, that was when Naina met with the entire Goenka family. The Goenka house was similar to the Maheshwari mansion. The architecture was same, the difference was the colour scheme and decor. Maheshwari family had designed their decor as a fusion of modern-day and traditional interiors, while the Goenka family had designed their house as a typical Marwari house, with Rajasthani art and artefacts everywhere.

Vansh: Sambhal ke Akshu, kahin gir gayi toh dant toot jayenge. Phir humare jamai sa tujhe yahin chod ke chale jayenge 🤣 Popli biwi kisko chahiye? Kyun jamai sa?

Abhimanyu signalled as he zipped his mouth. Akshara glared at Vansh and was about to scold him when Badi Mumma squealed in joy after seeing Naina.

Badi Mumma: Naina! Kitni badi hogayi hai. Manish ji, dekhiye toh yeh humari wohi Naina hai jisse humne saalon pehle white skirt aur white school shirt mein do chotti ke saath dekha tha. Aaj dekho, saree mein aayi hai. Aur shaadishuda ladki banke.

Naina blushed at the mention of her marriage, and with a smile, she touched all the elders' feet and took their blessings. And patted the head of Aarohi, and shared a side hug with Vansh and Kairav.

Mimi: Naina, beta tum akeli aayi ho? Tumhare pati nahi aaye? Akshu bata rahi thi ki tum dono aaye ho.

Naina: Badi dadi, haan woh aaye hai. Bas kuch kaam se hum sabse pehle nikal gaye the Birla house se. Yahan directly aa jayenge.

Abhimanyu: Aa jayenge nahi, aa gaye. Mimi woh dekhiye, aapke dusre jamai sa.

Sameer entered the house with three bags in his hand, two medium sizes and one small size. He smiled at all the known and unknown faces. Keeping the bags aside, he took the blessings of the elders and passed a smile to the youngsters.

Naina: Badi dadi, yeh hai mere husband. Sameer Maheshwari.

(To Sameer) Meer, yeh Akshu ke mayke wale hai.

Abhimanyu: Aur mere sasural wale hai!

Naina chuckled and said: Haan, aur Abhimanyu ke sasural wale. (Pointing to Manish and Swarna) Yeh Akshu ke dadaji dadiji hai jinhe woh Badi Mumma aur Bade Papa bulati hai, (Pointing to Akhilesh) yeh Akshu ke chote dadaji hai jinhe woh AG bulati hai,(Pointing to Suhasini) yeh Akshu ki badi dadi hai, matlab dadaji ki mummy, jinhe woh Mimi bulati hai. (Pointing to Vansh) Yeh Akshu ke cousin hai Vansh bhaiya, (Pointing to Aarohi and Kairav) yeh Akshu ki behen hai Aarohi aur yeh hai Kairav bhaiya.

Sameer: Ohh! Toh aap hai dulhe raja!

Kairav smiled and nodded his head. Sameer smiled back and picked up one of the medium-sized bags and handed it to Mimi.

Sameer: Dadiji, yeh kuch mithai aur dry fruits hai. Mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap logon ko kounsi mithai pasand hai, isliye dukaan ki saari mithaiyon se 6-6 pieces le aayi hai. Aap logon wali mithai woh badi dabbi hai. Aur jo guests aayenge unke liye dusre dabbe aur dry fruits.

Swarna: Arre beta, iski kya jaroorat thi. Aur mehmaanon ke liye mithai Vansh le aata. Tumne kyun taklif uthayi?

Sameer: Aisse kaise jaroorat nahi thi, aur maine koi taklif nahi uthayi hai. Abhi Abhimanyu ne kaha na, ki main aapko dusra jamai sa hun, toh jamai sa toh apne sasural walon ke kaamon mein haath bant sakta hai na.
Ya Naina, yeh log tumhe apni beti nahi maante?

Manish: Nahi nahi beta! Naina humari bacchi hi hai. Jaise Akshu aur Aarohi, waise hi Naina hai humare liye.

Sameer: Toh phir jaise aap sab Abhimanyu ko apna maante hai. Waise mujhe bhi apna maniye.

Mimi got overwhelmed with Sameer's insistence on considering him as their own, and she caressed his face and took ballayein of him and Naina together.

Abhimanyu: Baatein toh hoti rahengi. Roke ka muhaat hone aaya hai. Guests aane shuru ho jayenge. Aur phir hume Krisha ke family ka swagat bhi karna hai.

AG: Haan bhai. Bhaisahab aapne woh caterer wale ka payment nahi kiya tha. Usse baat kar lijiye. Vansh, ek baar check karlo ki puja ki saari samagri hai ki nahi. Aaru beta, tu jaake tere kamre mein Krisha ke make-up ka intezaam kar le.

Swarna: Naina, Sameer, tum dono mere saath aao. Kapde change kar lo.

Naina: Dadiji, inn kapdon mein kya kharabi hai? Mera matlab hai ki kapde already hai humare paas, phir kyun wapas badle?

Swarna: Maine yeh thodi kaha ki yeh kapde bilkul maat pehnna. Ganesh puja mein pehen lena, mandir jaane se pehle sab log kapde change karenge. Roke ke liye, Akshu ke baat hone ke baad humne tum dono ke liye kapde mangawa liye the.

Seeing that Sameer would be denying it, Manish stepped in.

Manish: Dekho, agar humare jamai sa se beta banna hai, toh Sameer tumhe yeh kapde accept karne honge.

Sameer sighed and agreed. The Goenka family gave a wide smile to Sameer, and both of them were pushed into a room for change. Sameer decided to change his clothes in the washroom after freshening up a little as he had to change the kurta only, the pyjamas that he wore with the blue kurta were going with the new one. Sameer was done in no time, but he waited in the washroom for some more time, as he knew Naina wouldn't be done yet.

When Naina saw that Sameer isn't coming out for a while, she realised that he might be waiting for her to be done. Smiling to herself, Naina speeded her dressing up and knocked on the door once done. Sameer came out with messy hair and a freshly washed face.

Sameer's gaze fell on Naina, who looked like an angel from heaven in the dark lavender lehenga with mirror work on the waistband and the boundary of the flares. Her blouse was full-sleeved with straight mirror lines on the arm. She had tucked the light lavender dupatta with mirror work all over her left shoulder.

Her hair was left open, she had done the middle partition and just left her hair as it was. Her makeup was the same with a change in jewellery. She wore lavender colour beads and a kundan choker set, with her mangalsutra giving a clear indication to everyone that she is married and that too to him.

Sameer inched towards Naina anticipating some reaction from him while fidgeting with her dupatta. Her heart had stopped beating when she saw him walking in looking drool-worthy in the lavender silk kurta with golden block prints. The kurta was stuck to his torso, giving an outline to his chiselled chest, which is a sight for only her eyes. When she saw admiration and desire in his eyes, her heart started drumming faster and she lowered her gaze.

Sameer: Sameer ki jaan! Agar tum aisse hi roz roz apni khubsurti badhati jaogi toh mujhe darr hai ki kahin main mariz na ban jaun! Tumhare husn ka, dil ka mariz. Phir mujhe Abhimanyu ka patient banna padega.

Naina's cheeks flared and turned pink. With a lot of courage, she lifted her eyes and looked straight into his dark orbs. She encircled her arms around his neck and tip-toed. Seeing her doing this, Sameer wrapped his arms around her waist and lifted her a little, and put her feet on top of his.

Naina: Mujhe roz khubsurat banna padta hai. Jab aap roz roz pehle se zyada handsome ban rahe hai, mujhe bhi aapke takkar ki banna padega na. Nahi toh log kya kahenge? Yeh kaisi ladki ko apni biwi bana li hai Mr Maheshwari ne.

Sameer chuckled and planted a kiss on top of her button nose. Naina giggled and kissed his cheeks.

Naina: Kya aap bhi! Har baat ko ghumake aap mujhe chadhane mein laga dete hai.

Sameer: Oh hello! Main tumhe chadha nahi raha. Sach bata raha hun. Tum iss jahan ki sabse acchi, khubsurat aur pyaari ladki ho. And I am lucky jo mujhe tum as a wife and life partner mili. Thank You and I love you.

Naina: I love you too Meer.

Naina hugged him tightly and inhaled his toxic fragrance. Sameer had his fragrance which was very different from her father's and brother's. Maybe this scent was of his love. Whenever Sameer is around, the scent gives her warmth of his love and assurance of his presence. Before, she was reluctant to accept his warmth and fragrance, but now when she has herself given herself all the rights to love him, she is accepting everything of his, open-heartedly.

Sameer: Mujhe aissa bahut accha lag raha hai Naina. Par hume neeche jaana hoga. Roka shuru hone wala hai, aur phir Ganesh puja ke liye mandir bhi jaana hai.

Naina: Aur uske baad hume Pari se milne bhi jaana hai!

Sameer: Haan haan! Chalo chalte hai.

Both of them walked down to the hall holding hands. By the time they entered the hall, a few of the guests had already arrived.

Manish: Sameer beta, tum Abhimanyu ke saath guests ko dekh lo please. Naina, bacche tu jaake Swarna aur Akshara ke saath andar guests ko diye jaane wale gifts ko sort kar de.

Sameer: Aap tension maat lijiye. Sab kuch ho jayega. Aap bas Pandit ji ke saath follow up kijiye. Aur dekhiye ki humare dulhe raja ready huye ki nahi.

Flashing a smile, Sameer left to welcome the guests with Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu being a jolly and energetic person, was unable to store his energy within him, and found it difficult in being calm and giving a calm smile and welcoming everyone.

Abhimanyu: Sameer! Thank God tum aagaye! Meri halat tight ho rakhi thi. Ek toh main kisi ko nahi pehchanta aur upar se Bade Papa ne strictly kaha hai ki shanti se sabko welcome karna hai. Kudne nahi lag jaun, warna guests darr jayenge.

Sameer: I can understand. Par kya kar sakte hai. Kuch hi time ki baat hai. Ek baar roka shuru hogaya phir hume security guard nahi banna padega.

On this note, both of them laughed and continued welcome the guests with a calm smile and folded hands. While Sameer was smiling at the guests and other people around, a group of three ladies noticed Sameer, and found him to be very handsome and suitable for their respective prospective daughters.

Lady-1: Woh ladka kitna handsome hai na. Dikhne mein acche khandan ka lagta hai.

Lady-2: Acche nahi, bahut acche khandan se lagta hai. Kapde toh dekho, aur uski ghadi dekh rahi ho. Jacob and Co. ki hai.

Lady-3: Par hai koun yeh?

L1: Suhasini aunty se puchte hai. Khada toh unke damad ke saath hai. Koi rishtedaar lagta hai.

L2: Lage haathon uska biodata bhi mang lenge.

Suhasini was standing near the decorated sitting area for the bride and groom to-be, when these three ladies greeted her.

Suhasini: Kaisi ho tum teeno? Ghar par sab thik hai?

L3: Ji Aunty, hum thik hai. Aap kaisi hai? Sunna tha aapki BP badh gayi thi.

Suhasini: Ab umar hogayi hai beta, iss umar mein BP sugar toh badhta rehta hai. Ab bas bhagwaan ke bulave ka intezaar hai. Aur hum apne Kittu aur Naira ke paas honge.

Abhimanyu: Mimi! Apne phir wohi baat ki. Abhi toh aapko bahut lambi umar jeeni hai.

Sameer: Abhimanyu sahi keh raha hai Dadiji. Apne abhi tak sirf apne teen bacchon ki shaadi dekhi hai, aur do ki dekhni baaki hai.

Abhimanyu: Sameer, Mimi toh humare bacchon ki bhi shaadi dekhengi. Aur phir unke bacchon ki.

Suhasini: Kitni lambi umar karne ka socha hai?

Abhimanyu: Itna ki hume kabhi aapko tasveeron mein na dhundhna pade.

Sameer: Abhimanyu, tumhe Akshara bula rahi hai. Jao.

Sameer understood that after what Abhimanyu spoke the atmosphere could turn gloomy. So he sent him off on the pretext of Akshara calling him.

Sameer: Dadiji, aap ek jagah baith jayiye. Zyada der khade rahengi toh ghutno mein dard aa sakta hai. Agar aapko kuch chahiye hoga toh awaaz laga dijiyega.

L1: Beta, tumhe pehle kabhi dekha nahi hai. Koun ho?

Suhasini: Humare ghar ka ek aur beta hai. Sameer naam hai iska.

L2: Accha, naam toh bada accha hai. Tum yahin Udaipur mein rehte ho?

Sameer: Ji nahi Aunty. Main Mumbai mein rehta hun. Apni family ke saath. Halaki Goenka family bhi meri family hai.

L3: Mumbai mein?! Waah! Accha tum karte kya ho? Dekh ke toh model lagte ho. Ya shayad actor ho. Kisi TV serial mein dekha tha tumhe.

Sameer chuckled and replied: Na hi main model hun aur na hi actor. Main businessman hun. Jewellery aur textile ka business hai mera. Apne shayad naam suna hoga, Maheshwari Industries. Main uska CEO aur COO hun, Sameer Maheshwari.

L1: Arre baap re! Tum ho Sameer Maheshwari! Suna tha bahut handsome aur good looking ho tum. Aur sach mein. Tum bahut zyada handsome aur good looking ho.

L2: Beta, meri beti yahin kahin hai. Usse ek baar mil lo. Woh......woh jewelery design ka course karne wali hai. Guidance mil jayegi.

L3: Haan, aur meri beti bhi fashion designer hai. Usko ek bade company mein exposure chahiye hai. Tum usse bhi mil lena.

Before the other lady could speak anything, Naina came to Sameer with a basket of white roses.

Naina: Meer, Akshu keh rahi hai ki hume yeh roses lagane hai. Par mujhe samjh nahi aa raha main yeh roses kaise lagau. Aap help kar do na please.

Seeing Naina making a cute face and pout, Sameer wanted to pinch her cheeks and plant a kiss on her pout. But as they were surrounded by people. He couldn't.
So instead, he smiled and made her sit next to Suhasini.

Sameer: Main yeh white roses aap dono ko laga deta hun.

L1: Suhasini aunty, yeh ladki koun hai? Isse bhi pehle kabhi nahi dekha.

Suhasini: Yeh Akshu ki bachpan ki saheli hai. Naina.

L2: Oh, beta shaadi ko kitna time hogaya hai? Aur tumhare pati nahi aaye?

L3: Nahi aaye honge, isliye Sameer beta se madad mang rahi hai.

Naina: Aunty, mere pati aaye hai. Aur humari shaadi ko bas kuch hi hafte huye hai. Aur main apne husband se hi madad mang rahi hun. Meer, I mean Sameer hi mere husband hai.

L1: Kya?! Sameer beta tumne bataya nahi!

Sameer: Apne pucha nahi Aunty. Aur agar aap mujhe janti hai, toh aapko yeh bhi pata hoga ki main shaadishuda hun. News mein flash hua tha. Infact paper mein bhi aaya tha.

One of the ladies immediately searched Sameer on internet and found his and Naina's wedding pictures. The three of them looked at each awkwardly and ran from there giving some incoherent excuses. Sameer couldn't understand what happened, and shrugging his shoulder he continued his work of fixing the white roses on Suhasini and Naina's hair. Suhasini's bun help Sameer in inserting the roses on her hair, but as Naina had her hair open, he had use his brain. He took three to four hair pins, and stuck two white roses beside her earlobes.

Sameer: Hogaya!

Suhasini: Hmm, bahut acche se laga diya tumne gulab beta! Naina, bahut acchi lag rahi ho, aur lagogi bhi kyun nahi? Jab pati ka haath zara sa bhi lag jaaye na, patni ke shringaar mein, toh usse zyada khubsurat koi nahi lagti.

Sameer and Naina's cheeks turned pink, and they looked at each other with a broad smile. Suhasini thought of giving them some alone time, so she left without saying anything.

Sameer: Naina woh.....woh maine kuch socha hai. I mean agar tum agree karogi toh.....Agar tumhe thik lage toh hi haan kehna. Warna maana kar dena. Koi compulsion nahi hai.

Naina: Aap agar baat kya hai bolenge, tab hi toh main decide kar paungi. Bina baat bole aap ghabra kyun rahe hai?

Sameer: Naina, jab humari shaadi tay huyi, saari rasmein huyi tab hum dono khush nahi the. I mean khush the, par itne khush nahi the ki unn rasmon ko enjoy kar sake. Kab rishta tay hogaya aur kab shaadi hogayi, pata hi nahi chala.
Ab jab tumne humare rishte ko, humari shaadi ko, aur humare pyaar ko dil se apnaya hai. Toh kyun na hum unn rasmon ko, unn riti riwazon ko phir se jee le? Kairav ki shaadi ke through......

Naina: Par Meer......aisse kaise hum kisi aur ki shaadi ke rasmon mein khud ko include kare.

Sameer: Mera matlab yeh tha ki hum dono apas mein inn rasmon ko manaye. Kisi ko batake nahi.

Naina: Meer, aapko pata hai. Mere mann mein yeh malal humesha ke liye reh jaata, ki agar mujhe sadbuddhi pehle aa jaati toh hum dono apni shaadi enjoy kar paate. Ek normal to-be couple jaisa behave kar paate. Ab jab unn palon ko wapas jeene ka mauka mila hai, toh main bhi saari yaadein bator lena chahti hun.

Sameer: Toh bas, apne Meer ka haath thamo, aur chal pado mere saath. Apni purani yaadon ke saath kuch nayi aur pehle se zyada rangeen yaadon ko jodne ke liye. Taki kuch saal baad, hum humare bacchon ko keh sake, unke Mummy Papa ka rishta kitna alag aur khas tha. Do do baar rasmein huyi.

Naina: Aur yeh bhi bata sake ki unki Mummy kitni buddhu thi. Bekaar ki baaton ko dil par leke, apni aur unke Papa ki life barbaad karne chali thi.

Sameer: Naina! Bacchon ko kya bolna hai aur kya nahi woh bahut baad ki baat hai. Abhi chalo, baatein karte reh jayenge toh Kairav aur humari rasm dono miss kar denge.

The roka ceremony commenced within 30 minutes. Krisha and Kairav were made to sit next to each other. Krisha's father tied a turban on his head, and gave a coconut, a sweet packet, an envelope, and did his tilak. Her father was followed by the other family members of Krisha. Next, Swarna or Badi Mumma wrapped Krisha's head with a red chunri, and then placed two saree, two jewellery boxes, sweet packet, coconut, and did her tilak. She was followed by Suhasini or Mimi who slipped a kangan on her wrist and did her tilak. Mimi was followed by Mahima, Manjiri, Shefali, Akshara and then came Naina's turn. Sameer passed the packet having two jewellery sets to Naina, who kept them on the chunri along with sweet packet and did Krisha's tilak.

Krisha's mom: Maheshwari Jewellers?! Yahan toh Maheshwari Jewellers ka koi showroom nahi hai. Toh aap kahan se layi yeh?

Manish: Toh kya hua Maheshwari Jewellers ka showroom nahi hai yahan, Maheshwari Jewellers ke CEO toh hai. Aur Maheshwari Jewellers ka ek workshop hai yahan.

Krisha's dad: Kya?! Matlab Sameer ka pura naam Sameer Maheshwari hai? Aur Naina ka pura naam Naina Maheshwari hai? Jaiprakash Maheshwari ke grandson aur granddaughter in-law?

Sameer: Ji, hum Jaiprakash Ji ke grandson and granddaughter in-law hai.

Krisha's mom: Manish Ji, yeh toh kitna accha coincidence hua. Aap bhi Jewellers hai, hum bhi Jewellers hai, aur Sameer Naina bhi Jewellers hai. Shaadi mein koi kami hone nahi denge, koi hume dhokha nahi de payega. Kyunki Jewellers ki nazar badi sharp hoti hai.

Mahima: Waise nazar toh doctors ki bhi bahut sharp hoti hai.

Krisha's dad: I agree to you Mrs. Birla, but heere ki parakh ek johri hi kar sakta hai.

Krisha: Badi Mumma, Mimi, Bade Papa, AG, Kairav, Akshara, agar aap logon ko aitraaz na ho, toh kya main Naina ka gift pehle khol sakti hun? Bahut suna hai Maheshwari Jewellers ke baare mein, google mein images bhi dekhe hai. Par aisse live unke jewellery dekhne ka mauka nahi mila.

Manish: Beta, maana ki rishte mein hum sab tumhare sasural wale hai. Par tum iss parivaar ki beti ho. Aur tumhe apne gifts mein se kisi ko bhi pehle kholne ka pura haq hai.

AG: Aur hum bhi dekhe, humare naye navele jamai sa ki jewellery dekhti kaisi hai?

Sameer chuckled and rubbed his neck, as he was now very nervous. It was the first time some other jeweller family was seeing the jewellery designed by him and his company.

Krisha: Wow! It's beautiful! Thank you so much Sameer Naina. Mujhe jewellery ka bahut shauk hai. Obviously jeweller family se aane se inn sab mein interest aa jaata hai.

Akshara: Naina! (Pointing towards the maroon set) tune meri shaadi ke liye aissa hi kuch milta julta set bheja tha na. I mean aissi hi karigari thi.

Naina: Woh bhabhi ne select kiya tha aur bheja tha......Meer!?

Sameer: Haan haan, Pranati ne mujhse hi liya tha. Usne mujhse yeh kaha tha ki Naina ki bachpan ki best friend ki shaadi hai. And she wants to gift something special. Toh maine Akshara ka gift khud design kiya tha. Aur Krisha, tumhara gift bhi maine khud design kiya hai.

Krisha's mom: Suna tha ki kuch lucky logon ko hi naseeb hota hai Maheshwari's self design collection ki jewellery.

Mahima murmured to Harsh and Anand: Goenka family abhi tak humare Abhimanyu ko sar par chadhake baithi thi. Par jab se Sameer aaya hai, humare Abhimanyu ki saari limelight le gaya hai. Upar se aaj humare hospital mein invest karne se maana kar diya uski wife ne!

Anand: Mahima, kaisi baatein kar rahi ho. Koi limelight nahi liya hai Sameer ne. Same profession ke hai sab.

I assure you, Mumbai jaane se pehle, Sameer Maheshwari ke saath deal sign kar chuke honge hum.

Aur rahi baat mere Abhimanyu ki limelight ki, toh Goenka family ka dusra naam hai hospitalization family. Dekhna, ek do din mein koi na koi pahunch jayega humare hospital. Toh Abhimanyu se uski limelight koi nahi le sakta.

Sadly, Sameer had heard a part of this conversation, and in order to end the conversations regarding him, he decided to intervene.

Sameer: Amm aunty, aaj ka din Kairav aur Krisha ka hai. So let's just keep it like that. Aur maine kuch extra nahi kiya hai. So no need of bragging.

Vansh: Humare bhai ka roka hua hai. Mithai bantni chahiye! Aaru! Ja jaake mithai leke aa!

Seeing everyone were busy in feeding each other sweets and the guests were busy having the food and some had left, Sameer dragged Naina to a corner.

Sameer: Naina, jab main humare workshop gaya tha na. Krisha ke liye jewellery laane, tabhi meri nazar kuch aur par padi.

Sameer got a small packet from behind his back. He handed it to Naina, and asked her to bring out the velvet box. She did so, and found a pair of gold bangle inside. It was a simple yet beautiful bangle.

Naina: Meer, yeh bahut sundar hai!

Sameer: Jabse Jaipur mein tumhare kangan ghum huye hai, tum sirf apna yeh red bangle pehnti ho. Mujhe tumhare haath mein bangles bahut acchi lagti hai. Toh main yeh le aaya.

Naina: Par Meer, main yeh.....mera matlab hai ki Papaji ke kangan ke saath jo hua uske baad.....main....

Sameer held Naina's shoulder and looked into her eyes, and spoke lovingly.

Sameer: Naina, jo hua tha woh ek hadsa tha. Aur tum Mumbai mein kahin ghum thodi ho jaogi. Mumbai kya duniya ke kisi bhi kone mein tum ghum nahi hogi. Main hone hi nahi dunga. Humesha tumhara haath aisse kaske pakade rahunga.

Saying so, Sameer held her hand tightly, and planted a kiss on the joined hands. Naina blushed and looked at him.

Sameer: Toh bolo! Logi na? Isse humare roke ka kangan samjho. Jo kangan ghuma hai, woh tumhe Papa ne hi diya tha na humare roke mein. Toh aissa samjho ki samjhote wale roke mein di gayi kangan isiliye ghum gayi taaki pyaar se hone wale roke wali kangan tum pehen sako.

Naina: Meer.....par......

Mahima: Tumhara husband itne pyaar se de raha hai, toh accept kar lo na Naina! Tab tak middle class harkatein karogi? Kanjosi ab chod do Naina! Just accept it. Sameer ke baare mein socho!

Hearing Mahima speak ill about Naina, Sameer's blood boiled. And thanks to Mahima's loud and clear voice, the attention of the whole gathering was on them.

Sameer took a breath, and plastered a fake smile before answering to Mahima.

Sameer: Thank you Mrs. Birla for your concern aur Naina ko convince karne mein meri help karne ki koshish karne ke liye. But main aapko bata dun, yeh humara personal matter hai. Plus, what do you mean by middle class harkatein? Apne pati se gift that too something expensive gifts lene mein hesitate karne ko middle class harkat nahi politeness aur simplicity kehte hai. Haan, meri wife middle class family ko belong karti hai, par yeh koi disadvantage nahi hai. Usko paison ki keemat pata hai. She knows how important each penny is. Aur I am glad that she knows it, kyunki jab bhi main kuch fizul kharch karne jaunga tab yeh mujhe rok degi.
So Mrs. Birla usse kanjosi nahi money saving kehte hai. It's sad that aap mujhse umar aur baaki sab kuch main badi hoke bhi itni si baat samjh nahi pain.

Naina, chalo! Dadiji main aur Naina directly mandir pahunch jayenge. Address bhej dijiyega.

Sameer held his wife's arm, and stormed out of the Goenka Villa. Mahima was shocked seeing Sameer's reaction. She had thought that Sameer wouldn't say anything and listen quietly but the reality was the opposite.

Abhimanyu: Taiji! Yeh kya tha? Aapko kya zaroorat thi Naina aur Sameer ki baaton ko sunne ki, aur sunn bhi li toh uss par itna negative comment karne ki!

Mahima: Par, maine ek frank comment kiya.

Anand: Frank comment kabhi kabhi kisiko chot de sakta hai Mahima! Jaise jab tumne Naina se pucha tha investment ke baare mein aur jab usne apna frank comment rakha, toh tumhe bura lag gaya.

Manish: Dekhiye Mahima ji, aap humari Akshu ki saas hai, isliye humne tab kuch nahi kaha jab aap bakwas kar rahi thi. Naina bhi iss ghar ki beti hai, toh kya hua khoon ka rishta nahi hai. Par beti hai. Aur aapne aaj mere hi ghar mein meri beti ka apmaan kiya hai! Aur yeh main bardast nahi karunga.
Akshu! Naina aur Sameer ka samaan yahan Goenka Villa bhijwa do. Main unn dono ke liye ek kamra arrange kar dunga.

Mahima: Par maine galat kahan kaha? Naina middle class family se belong karti hai. Kabhi expensive jewellery aur kapde dekhe nahi honge. Tabhi toh kaise middle class style ki saree pehnkar aayi thi toh humare ghar kal. Aur koi jewelery nahi. Imitation ke earrings and normal red bangle. Isliye ek saath itna sab dekhke overwhelm hogayi hogi. Par ab usse inn sab ki aadat dalni hogi. Woh ek jeweller family ke ghar mein gayi hai. She has to adapt!

Before anyone can say anything more, Sameer's voice roared.

Sameer: Naina ka middle class family se belong karna galat nahi hai! Aur na hi uske tau tarike galat hai!

Sameer's loud, clear and intimidating voice threatened everyone present there. Today the world got to know that it's wrong to mess with Sameer Maheshwari. As he might look calm and composed, but he is a volcano. Which can erupt anytime and destroy you and your surroundings.

Sameer stood in front of Mahima, and spoke: Haan meri biwi ko kuch high class society ladies ki tarah expensive saree aur jewelery ka shauk nahi hai. Usse simple aur sober rehna accha lagta hai. Woh apne paise inn sab cheezon mein kharch isliye nahi karti kyunki usne yeh sab dekhe nahi hai ya usse knowledge nahi hai. Usko zaroorat nahi hai!
Just look at her! Kisi chand se kam nahi hai meri Naina! Ek simple lehenge mein hoor ki pari lag rahi hai! And don't forget Mrs. Mahima Birla, aap bhi kabhi middle class family se belong karti hongi. Aapke bhi chadar ki size choti aur pair lambe ho rahe honge, par aapne apne pairon ko chadar ke hisaab se adjust kiya hoga. Humare paas pairon se lambi chadar hai, par hume pair nahi phelane! It's our choice!

And remember this thing, Naina meri wife hai! Meri zindagi hai, aur jeene ki wajah. Aap Sameer Maheshwari ke saath kuch bhi kar sakti hai, dhokha bhi! Par uski biwi, jo uska guroor hai, aur uska samman hai, uske upar apni ungli aur awaaz nahi utha sakti hai!

I hope I am clear!

Mimi: Beta, Mahima ki taraf se hum maafi mang rahe hai. Please yahan se maat jao. Tum dono Kairav ki shaadi mein sammil hone aaye ho, aisse chote bade manmutav ko bhul kar, shaadi aur rasmon ko enjoy karo.

Swarna: Haan, aur hum soch rahe the ki kyun na tum dono yahan raho. Humare saath, woh bahut din hogaye Naina ke saath waqt bitaye huye.

Akshara: Haan! Main bhi aa jaungi! Sab milkar mazze karenge. Sagaai ke baad aane wali, thi ab sagaai se pehle aa jaungi.

Kairav: Abhimanyu, tum bhi aa jaana. Kuch din ke liye sasuraal mein reh lena. Nahi toh pichli baar ki tarah gymnastics karke aur choro ki tarah aana padega 😂😂😂

Manish: Haan haan, Abhimanyu! Tum aa jaana Akshara ke saath. Shaadi ke mahaul mein hume hospital nahi jaana.

Swarna: Sameer! Beta bolo na! Rahoge na yahan, hum sabke saath?

Sameer didn't have a heart to deny to Swarna. He nodded his head, and brought a wide smile on everyone's face.

Mimi: Accha, ab hum sab bhi khana kha lete hai. Mehmaano ka hogaya hai. Aur adhe ja bhi chuke hai. Phir mandir bhi jaana hai Ganesh pujan ke liye.

Sameer: Aap log chaliye, main thodi der mein aata hun. Car aisse hi abruptly park kar di hai.

Naina: Main abhi aayi.

Naina ran behind Sameer, when she went out, she found Sameer was standing against the car with his back towards her. She ran and hugged him from the side.

Sameer: Naina......

Naina: Ssshhhh! Kuch maat boliye. Main aapko lecture dene nahi aayi hun. Aapko yeh batane aayi hun, ki aapko mere saath, mere samman ke liye aur meri sacchai ke saath ke khade dekh, mujhe bahut accha laga. Thank You! Thank You for everything. And I love you

Sameer wounded his arm around her, and kissed her head. He kept his head on top of her head, after leaning on her.

Sameer: I love you too jaan. Aur maine koi special kaam nahi kiya tumhare saath khade hoke, jo sahi hai maine woh kiya. Tum meri biwi ho, Sameer Maheshwari ki! Aur kisiko koi bhi haq nahi banta tumhare choices aur decisions par sawaal uthaye. Except for our family. Sirf humare parivaar ko haq hai humse sawal puchne ke.

Naina: Phir bhi Meer, kahin na kahin Mahima aunty ki baat sahi thi. Main ek middle class family se belong karti hun, par ab main Maheshwari family ki bahu hun. Mujhe yahan ke tau tarike se rehna padega. Bahut kuch sikhna hai mujhe.

Sameer: Naina! Tum.....tum meri baat toh manogi nahi. Ruko!

Sameer immediately pulled out his phone from his pocket, and dialled his grandfather's number. Within a minute, the jolly face of his grandfather popped on his screen. Seeing their grandfather after so long made Sameer and Naina miss him and home more.

Jaiprakash: Kya baat hai mere sher! Iss rang mein ek dum hero lag raha hai! Aur humari bahurani humare hero ki heroine ♥

Sameer: Dadu, yeh kya? Itne se din mein aap itne murzaye kyun dikh rahe ho? Tabiyat kharab hogayi kya? Papa kahan hai? Bulao unhe! Abhi unki class leta hun.

Jaiprakash (looking at the photo of his late wife): Dekh rahi ho na Janki! Tumhara Sameer kitna sayana hogaya hai. Apne dada ke liye apne baap ki class lene ki bol raha hai. Ab tumhare bete ke atyaachaar zyada din nahi chalenge. Mera pota jo hai.

Sameer: Dadu! Mazaak nahi! Ab sach bolo!

Jaiprakash: Sach toh yeh hai beta, tere aur humari Naina betiya ke bina ghar khali khali lag raha hai. Ghar aane ko mann nahi kar raha. Jaldi aa jao bas tum dono. I am missing you both.

Naina: We miss you too Dadaji. Aapke saath mujhe waqt guzarne ko hi nahi mila. Aapke pote ne mujhe aaram se aapke saath chai tak peene nahi di. Ab aaungi toh aapko chodke kahin nahi jaungi.

Jaiprakash: Haan! Ab jo tum dono aao, toh hum chaaron kabhi alag nahi honge.
Sameer, woh tujhe phone karne wala tha. Jaya kal wapas ja rahi hai. Uski NGO mein kuch kaam aagaya hai. Toh jaana padega. Aur main Poonam ko bhi bhej raha hun uske saath.

Sameer: Dadu!

Khair, main dekhta hun. Tu yeh bata, phone kyun kiya? Tum dono shaadi attend karne gaye ho na. Aur aaj toh kuch rasm bhi tha.

Sameer: Maine phone isliye kiya kyunki Naina ko aissa lagta hai ki usse humari so called high class family mein adjust karne ke liye bahut mehnat lagegi.

Jaiprakash laughed and this mortified Naina. She didn't look at the screen and looked down at the mirror work of her lehenga. Sameer noticed this, and wounded his arm around her waist.

Jaiprakash: Naina, beta, maana ki naam bada bhari bharkam hai. Maheshwari! Par humara rehen sehen bilkul aam logon jaisa hai. Tumne toh dekha hai ghar, mera, Vivek ka, aur Sameer ka kapde pehenne ka andaaz bhi dekha hai. Aur yahan wapas aane se, thoda waqt bitane se riti aur rasmein sikh jaogi dheere dheere. Upar se main hun, tumhara sasur hai, aur Sameer hai. Hum chaaron milke sab sambhal lenge.
Tumhe chinta karne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Aur rahi baat tumhare rehen sehen aur pehnave ki. Toh beta, jis din tum dono Jaipur ke liye nikal rahe the, uss din bhi maine kaha tha. Uski chinta maat karo. Tumhe jo pasand aaye woh peheno. Aur tumhara hi ghar hai, tumhare hisaab se jo badalna hai ya rakhna hai woh karo.

Main, Vivek aur Sameer bas issi baat se khush hai ki humare ghar aur chote se sanyukt parivaar ke upar mamta, pyaar, vishwas aur izzat ki thandi chao dene wali ek auraat ka anchal aagaya hai. Hume aur kuch nahi chahiye hai.

Naina: Dadaji, aap bahut bahut bahut acche hai. Ab samjh aaya, Papaji aur Meer mera matlab hai Sameer ji, itne acche kyun hai.

Jaiprakash: Beta, tum apne pati ko naam se ya jo tum chaho woh bula sakti ho. Main ya Vivek hai saamne iska matlab yeh nahi ki tum Sameer ko Sameer ji karke bulao 😂
Waise naam bada accha diya hai, Meer.

Naina's cheeks tinted pink and she looked here and there. Jaiprakash laughed once again and silently prayed for blessing his kids and their married life.

Sameer: Dadu, Papa hai kahan? Itne waqt se hum baat kar rahe hai. Woh aaye nahi.

Jaiprakash: Vivek office gaya hai. Kuch papers sign karne the, aur tune jo Udaipur wale workshop se piece liye usko tally karne.

Sameer: Maine tally kar diya hai. Vikram ko bhej bhi diya hai. Woh Papa ko bhej dega. Aap batao Dadu! Udaipur se kya leke aaye aapke liye?

Jaiprakash: Beta, jo nahi tha woh ab mil gaya hai. Ab kya mangu. Bas tum dono jaldi wapas aa jao. Kuch din ka aaram hai, uske baad Navaratri shuru ho jayegi. Phir kamartod mehnat karni padegi Sameer!

Sameer: Haan haan! Pata hai. Aur aapko bhi aaram karna hai Jaiprakash Ji! Aapka jawaan pota aur usse bhi zyada jawaan bete sab kuch sambhal lenge!

Jaiprakash: Accha beta, tum dono jao. Mazze karo. Aur photos bhejna. Naina, beta apni dost ke parivaar waalon ko mera namaste kehna.

Naina: Ji Dadaji. Apna khayal rakhiyega.

Jaiprakash: Haan beta. Bye. Love you both. Miss you.

Samaina: Love you too Dadu/Dadaji. Miss you too. Bye.

Naina: Meer, Dadaji kitne acche hai! Mujhe sach mein unse bahut zyada lagaav hogaya hai. Maine apne Dadaji ko dekha nahi hai. Aur agar woh hote aur unke aur Maa Papa ke beech sab sahi hota toh shayad woh bhi aisse hi pyaar karte.

Sameer: Koi baat nahi. Der aaye durust aaye. Shayad bhagwaan ka yeh hi plan tha. Tumhe world's best dadu dene ka!

Naina: Haan, shayad. Accha chaliye, andar chaliye. Pata nahi subah aapne kuch khaya bhi tha ki nahi. Aur lunch khate usse pehle drama hogaya.

Sameer: Naina, meri baat dhyaan se sunna. Aaj main tha tumhare saath, tumhare liye ladhne ke liye. Par aissa ho sakta hai ki kal ko aissi situation phir se aaye. Aur shayad main nahi hunga tumhare saath. Par iska matlab yeh nahi ki main tumhare paas nahi hunga. Main humesha hun tumhare saath. Sahi aur galat mein. Tum bas apni awaaz uthana galat ke khilaf. Koi aur ho na ho, main hunga.

Naina nodded her head, and wrapped her arms around his torso, and hugged him tightly. Sameer knew that Naina is naive and wasn't exposed to the cruelty of world till now. But the episode with Mahima gave a small glimpse of what can happen in future. It becomes difficult for the society to digest the fact that a rich man can fall in love with a woman who doesn't belong to the same economic class. The society label their relationship as either a compromise or label the girl as gold digger and money minded. Of course there are marriages which come under these labels, but not all marriages and relationships are same. So that's why after today's episode, he got determined to make his wife strong and make her stand up for herself. And luckily, he doesn't have to find or build situations like that, as in his house, the evil trio would not leave any stone unturned in commenting on Naina.

Naina: Meer, chale?

Sameer was shook out of his reveries. He looked at Naina who was expectantly looking at him, and gave a nod.

Samaina had just entered the house, when Abhimanyu and Akshara came in front of them with a plate of aloo parathe.

Akshara: Naina ne baaton baaton mein keh diya tha ki aapko aloo ke parathe bahut pasand hai. Toh maine Mimi se kehkar specially yeh banawaya tha. As a welcome and suprise gift.

Sameer smiled and tore a bite of the aloo paratha and put it in his mouth. The homely taste and fragrance hit Sameer, and made him nostalgic. Suddenly he missed his father, who makes delicious aloo parathe and lifts him up by giving him his favorite.

Sameer: Ghar ki yaad aagayi Akshara! Kahan hai dadiji. Bahut tasty bana hai paratha.

Neil: Sab log change karne chale gaye. Aap dono apna khana finish karke, ussi kamre mein kapde change kar dena jahan pehle kiya tha. Aap chaaron saath milke jayenge mandir. Hospital mein emergency ke wajah se Tauji Taiji aur Harsh uncle wahan gaye hai. Aur humari ek gaadi nahi hai.

Sameer: Arre Neil, itna lamba explanation dene ki koi zaroorat nahi hai. Mujhe issues bas Mrs. Birla ke rawaye se hai. Baaki family members se mujhe koi problem nahi hai.

After having the delightful and tasty lunch of aloo parathe, Samaina changed their clothes back to the ones brought by Jaydev Ji. Thanks to Abhimanyu, the luggage of Samaina along with Abhira were shifted to Goenka Villa. Now Sameer was happy with the fact that Naina would be surrounded by the people who like and adore her. And whom she adores.

On their way to the temple, Naina urged Sameer to talk to Devang bhaiya, and get the information about Pari's whereabouts at the time when they both would be free from the rituals.

Abhimanyu: Sameer agar aapko lagta hai ki main ya Akshu uncomfortable feel karenge so aap galat soch rahe ho. We are friends, and hope become family. Toh aisse awkwardness nahi rakhte.

Sameer passed a smile, and dialled Devang's number. Sameer was feeling nervous to talk to him, and with each ring, his heart increased it's speed. When finally, the ringing sound turned into a silence and he heard a deep voiced Hello Sameer started stuttering.

Seeing him nervous, Naina thought to take over. Even Akshara and Abhimanyu could understand that this Devang bhaiya is the one whom Sameer met yesterday and is now nervous to have talk with, maybe due to the distance between them.

Naina: Devang bhaiya, Namaste! Main Naina bol rahi hun. Aapke cousin Sameer ki wife.

Devang: Naina! Hello! Namaste. Kaisi ho?

Naina: Main thik hun Bhaiya. Aap kaise ho? Aur Pari kaisi hai?

Devang: Main kaisa hun, woh Sameer ne tumhe bata hi diya hoga. Aur Pari, school gayi hai. Sameer ko aur tumhe dhundh rahi thi.

Hearing Devang say about Sameer knows how he is feeling, Sameer gulped and his eyes pooled up. He knew Devang is emotionally vulnerable now.

Naina: Ahem, bhaiya. Woh main aur yeh soch rahe the ki aapse aur Pari se milne aaye. Toh around 4 baje Pari ghar aa gayi hogi?

Devang: Nahi Naina. Woh school ke creche mein hogi. Main toh abhi office mein hun. Ammm, ek kaam karo. Tum dono usse pick karlo school se. Aur apne paas rakhna. Main wapas jaate waqt usse pick kar lunga.
Uska bahut mann tha woh apne Sameer Chachu aur Pretty Chachi ko uski friend Juhi aur uske Nishant Chachu se milaye.

Naina: Accha. Thik hai bhaiya. Aap inhe Pari ke creche ka address bhej dijiye. Hum usko pick karne ke baad aapko inform kar denge.

Naina declined the call after Devang said bye. And within 3-4 minutes, they were infront of the temple. Samaina and Abhira were surprised to see Anand, Mahima and Harshvardhan present with the Goenka and Krisha's family.

Abhimanyu: Tauji, aap log hospital gaye the na? Toh yahan?

Mahima: Adhe raste mein the jab meeting reschedule hogayi. Toh humne socha ki yahan wapas aa jaaye.

Manish: Abhimanyu beta, tumne shaadi ke card mangwa diye the na?

Abhimanyu: Ji bade Papa. Pandit ji ke paas subah se hai. Hume bas puja shuru karni hai.

With that said, they all gathered in the temple, and the bride groom preformed the puja. Ganesh Puja is basically inviting Lord Ganesh Ji and his family to the wedding before anyone else enters the wedding destination, so that he can ensure that there isn't any obstacles for the wedding. Here, a special wedding card is given along with sweets and clothes.

After the puja was done, Sameer walked to the Pandit ji. Naina and others were confused seeing him go near Pandit ji.

Sameer: Pandit ji, iss mandir mein ya pass ke kisi mandir mein dann ya bhandara ayojit ho sakta hai?

Pandit ji: Haan ayojit ho sakta hai yajmaan. Aur agar chahe toh abhi ho sakta hai. Andar khana bann raha hai, jo bhaktjaan yahan se lete. Aap chaho toh usse pura kharid ke, paas ke basti ke logon aur unke bacchon ko khila sakte hai.

Sameer: Waah! Toh abhi hi aap karwa dijiye.

Pandit ji: Kiske naam se hona hai?

Sameer: Jaiprakash Jayantilal Maheshwari sah parivaar. Aur Naresh......ek min.

(To Naina) Naina, tumhare dadaji ka naam kya hai?

Naina: Mohan Agrawal. Par Meer, aap Dadaji ke naam se hi karwayiye na. Meri family ko kyun.......

Sameer: Naina! Humari ek hi family hai. Bas adhe log Andheri mein rehte hai aur adhe Malad mein. Saath mein bas surname ka difference hai thoda. Par mann aur parivaar ek hai. So, no mera no tumhara. Sirf humara.

Naina's eyes pooled up. She wiped the tears immediately, and passed a huge smile. And told Panditji her grandfather's full name.

Krisha's mom: Kahan milte hai aaj kal aisse ladke? Jo apni aur apni wife ki family ko alag nahi maante.

Manish: Sahi kaha apne. Naina ke Papa bahut lucky hai, jo unhe Sameer as a damad mila. Waise lucky toh hum bhi hai, jo Abhimanyu hume mila. Usne kabhi bhi hum mein aur uski family mein farq nahi kiya hai.

Abhimanyu: Bade Papa! Mujhe aap Sameer ke saath compare maat kijiye. Woh mujhse bhi zyada acche hai. Main phir shayad kabhi pakshpaat kar lun. Par I am sure Sameer kabhi aissa nahi karenge.

Kairav: Ab mere paas do do inspirations hai jinhe dekhkar mujhe best husband aur damad banna hai.

Like this a fun banter continued between the Goenkas, Krisha's family and Abhimanyu, meanwhile Samaina had got the food out and had invited the nearby slum residents.

Everything was going peacefully, when Naina shouted loudly.

Naina: Meeeeeerrr!!!

Sameer was serving the people, when his gaze fell on a small kid playing near the stairs. He was worried if that small girl would fall off, so he immediately ran to her, and pulled her but in this process, his leg slipped and he fell off the stairs. Naina hurriedly left the pot with puri and ran to him. Sameer had rolled down to the last step of the temple, Naina sat on it and kept his head on her lap and patted his face.

Naina: Meer! Meer! Aankhein kholiye! Hey bhagwaan!

Abhimanyu! Neil! Kairav bhaiya! Vansh bhaiya! Akshu! Dadiji!

Within a minute everyone came running to her after hearing her shout, Abhimanyu, Neil and Vansh helped Naina in carrying Sameer to a car. Abhimanyu sat next to Naina in the backseat with Sameer in the middle, his head on her shoulder, and the bleeding forehead pressed with her saree pallu and Neil drove the car.

Abhimanyu: Naina, aap tension maat lo. Sameer ko kuch nahi hoga. Hum hospital ja rahe hai na.

Naina: Abhimanyu please mere Meer ko bacha lijiyega. Inko kuch hogaya toh main kya karungi. Dadaji aur Papaji ko kya jawab dungi.

Neil: Didi, aap chinta maat karo. Bhai ne kaha hai ki sab sahi ho jayega. Toh bas. Aap himmat maat haarna.

Within the next 10-15 minutes, they reached hospital and Sameer was taken into the treatment ward. Naina sat outside praying to God for her husband. She was gazing at the door of the ward through which Sameer was taken when Akshara, Manjiri, Swarna and Suhasini came to her.

Suhasini: Naina beta, dheeraj rakho. Sab sahi hi hoga. Sameer ko halki chot lagi hogi. Waise hi jaise bachpan mein tumhe lagti thi.

Swarna: Maaji thik keh rahi hai beta. Abhi dekhna Abhimanyu aayega aur bolega ki Sameer bilkul thik hai.

Akshara: Tu yeh paani pee. Itna paani baha chuki hai aankhon se. Uska compensation kar.

Here Goenka and Birla ladies were cheering up Naina, and on the other side Harshvardhan had cornered Mahima.

Harshvardhan: Bhabhi, aapne sahi nahi kiya. Aapne uss bacche se kehkar Sameer ko dhakka marwa diya. Aur seedhiyon se gira diya! Kyun?

Mahima: Kyunki usne sabke saamne aur most importantly Goenkas ke saamne meri insult kari! Mujhe kitna kuch sunaya! Aur uski woh biwi, Naina usne mere muh pe mujhe maana kar diya business deal ke liye! How dare they?

Harshvardhan: How dare you Bhabhi? Unn dono ne jo bhi kiya verbally kiya hai. Physical nahi huye. Par aap! Aapne toh Sameer ko jaan se maarne ki koshish ki hai. Just pray ki woh sahi salamat ho.

Manjiri: Didi aapne yeh sab kiya?!

Manjiri had left Naina and other ladies to receive her phone, when she heard Sameer's name. The ground slipped beneath her feet when she heard what Harshvardhan had said and Mahima replied.

Mahima: Manjiri! Main gusse mein thi, jabse woh Sameer aur Naina aaye hai. Tabse saara limelight Abhimanyu Akshara se hatkar unn dono par gir gaya hai. Goenkas aur Kairav ke in-laws bhi Abhimanyu ko bhulkar Sameer ke peeche pad gaye hai.

Manjiri: Koi limelight se nahi haata hai Didi! Actually koi limelight hai hi nahi! Abhi Akshu aur Naina Sameer mein koi bada aur chota nahi hai. Didi! Woh dono humari Akshu ke dost hai. Humare mehmaan hai. Aapne Naina ke baare mein bhala bura kaha, toh jawab sunna hi tha na. Kal ko Abhi ne agar aapko kuch keh diya kyunki aap Akshu se badtameezi kar rahi thi, toh aap Abhi ko bhi nukshan pahunchaogi?

Mahima: Abhimanyu ki baat alag hai Manjiri!

Harshvardhan: Kaise bhabhiji? Kaise alag hai? Abhimanyu aur Sameer dono ki baat ek hai. Fark bas itna hai Abhimanyu humara beta hai aur Sameer Maheshwari family ka. Par emotions same hi hai Bhabhi!

Manjiri: Didi, kal ko Abhi aur Akshu wahan unke paas rahenge. Mumbai mein na sahi Pune mein, par honge unke paas. Agar woh log bhi iss darr mein Abhi ko nukshan pahuncha denge, toh hum kya karenge? Aapne jo bhi kiya hai, galat kiya hai Didi!

With that said, Manjiri went away. On her way, she was thinking about everything. Her eyes fell on Naina. Her light blue saree had stains of her husband's blood, her hair was a mess, her eyes and nose were puffy and swollen, and her voice and hands were shivering. She was about to tell Naina about what she heard, when Naina spoke.

Naina: Akshu, do ghante hogaye! Abhimanyu bahar nahi aaye hai. Pata nahi andar kya ho raha hai. Mujhe darr lag raha hai Akshu! Agar Meer ko kuch hogaya toh? Main kya karungi? Dadaji aur Papaji toot jayenge. Humara parivaar bikhar jayega! Unhone kitne saare sapne dekhe hai Akshu! Sab bikhar jayega!

Akshara: Naina! Aissa kuch nahi hoga! Aur aissa kuch nahi hone ke liye hi Abhi aur Tauji andar hai. Woh log Sameer ko treat kar rahe hai. Tu chinta maat kar!

Naina: Aisse kaise chinta na karu!? Akshu andar mera sab kuch daav pad laga hai. Maana sirf kuch din huye hai shaadi ko, par Meer mere tab se hogaye hai jabse shaadi tay huyi hai. Aur main unki. Unke bina maine 6 mahine katt liye par jab se unhe bataya hai ki main unse bahut pyaar karti hun, jabse yeh baat samjh aayi hai, unke bina ek pal sau janmon jaisa lagta hai.

Akshara: Main teri baat samjh sakti hun Naina. Main bhi ek biwi hun. Shaadi ke baad uss ek anjaane insaan ke saath kitni saari yaadein aur sapne jud jaate hai, mujhe uss ehsaas ka ehsaas hai. Maine aur Abhi ne apni shaadi ke do saalon mein se adhi ladhne jhagdne mein laga di. Ab saath aaye hai, toh juda nahi hona chahte.

Naina closed her eyes and leaned on the wall behind her. She remembered suddenly that they were supposed to pick Pari. She hastily searched for Sameer's phone, which Vansh had. She dialled Devang's number.

Naina: Hello Devang bhaiya!

Devang: Naina, mujhe malum hai. Sameer hospital mein hai, aur tum dono Pari ko pick nahi kar sakoge. Maine call kiya tha Sameer ko, yeh puchne ki address mila ki nahi. Kisi aur ne receive kiya aur bataya. Tum chinta maat karo. Main bas nikal hi raha hun.

Naina: Ji bhaiya! Jaldi aayiye.

By the time she was done with the phone call, Abhimanyu had opened the door and was walking towards her. Naina got up and rushed towards him.

Abhimanyu: External injury mein sirf right arm fracture hua hai. Woh bhi minor aur thigh mein muscle pull hogaya hai. Internal injury ke baare mein hosh aane ke baad hi pata chalega. Naina, main aapko jhooth nahi bolunga. Yeh aane wale 24 ghante Sameer ke liye aur hum sab ke liye crucial hai. Agar unhe hosh nahi aaya, toh he can slip into coma kyunki unke neurological system se hume ab tak koi response nahi aa raha hai. So, hope for the best. Vitals record karke unhe personal ward mein shift karwa diya jayega.

Naina sat on the bench with a thud and held her face in between her palm. She didn't know what to do and what not to do. She couldn't gather herself. But she had to. She had to be strong for the sake of her husband and her family. She wiped her tears, and with determination stood up.
