(In a faraway island, to the southwest of the capital Rhindelm, two figures ran through a thick jungle and arrived at a small village. They entered to a giant hall. In there, numerous men and women gathered. At sight of them, everyone went silent. They walked towards a lady and with sad faces they gave their report.)

Huntress: Guild Master...Caleb and Chris...they died.

Guild Master: But how?!

(They told what happened during the hunt.)

Guild Master: This is not good. If what you are saying is true, we are all in danger. Prepare my carriage, I will need to go to Edomont.

(After saying those words, a hunter came running, almost without breath.)

Hunter: GUILD MASTER! GUILD MAAAAASTER!

Guild Master: W-what's happening?!

Hunter: Bad news! Some kind of meteorite fell near the jungle! Everyone ran away.

(She stays silent.)

(Away from the hall, a girl wakes up. She walks to the bathroom and begins to speak to herself.)

Girl: Ok Isabella, today is going to be a great day. Last hunt was not too good, but each day is different.

(She takes a bath and puts on her armor. On the entrance, she finds her trusty bow. She checks her quiver and re-stock some arrows. She takes one last look and exits the small house. Alongside the road, all the people salute her. Some bowed and other exchanged jokes. She stands in front of another house, double the size of her and screams.)

Isabella: Hey Arya! Come on! We are going to be late.

(The door opens and a beautiful blonde girl, almost asleep, looks at Isabella with sore eyes.)

Isabella: C'mon! We were supposed to be at the Hall in 30 minutes. We need to hunt that Rhanioid.

(The blonde girl enters her house and exits it after 20 minutes. She had a very eccentric red armor. Alongside, she carries her sword and shield.

Arya: Let's go. (Says in a soft, lower voice.)

(Both walked alongside, fighting over who was better using bows and swords. After some time, they entered the Hall. They stumble with the Guild Master who was silent.)

Guild Master: Great, you came!

(She went running to both girls.)

Guild Master: I need a big favor from both of you. I want you to go to the Ancestral Land and check on some meteor that fell near.

Isabella: Meteorite? In the Ancestral Land? That is very odd.

Guild Master: I know, and I would dispatch a better unit, but all the good ones are far away doing other missions, and the people here, well...

(Arya makes a sign with his hands.)

Guild Master: W-what?

(Isabella sighs)

Isabella: She is asking for the money. How much?

Guild Master: I will treat this as an urgent mission.

(Arya makes a sign of approval)

Isabella: Ok! We shall take the quest!

(Everyone went silent in the hall. All watched as both of the girls exited the hall, towards their destination.)

Noob Hunter: Guild Master, it will be ok to send just 2 hunters in a dangerous quest?

(The Guild Master smiles)

Guild Master: They aren't just any hunters; they are the two must skilled ones in all Ardmery.

(Both huntresses continue alongside the path. Arya hums different songs whereas Isabella gathered mushrooms and herbs. They fought about who was the best of both, then stopped to eat something. Both prepared their weapons and got close to the site where the meteorite crashed. Arya kneeled and touched the ground. Her eyes were fixated in the feeling of the earth. Isabella went scouting the area until she found some plants entangled. She walks, with precaution towards the place. When she notices where they were, she screamed to Arya.)

Isabella: RHAN NEST!!!!

(In that moment, a ravaging beast fell from the sky. The enraged beast tried to chomp on Isabella, but she evaded quickly. The beast was coated in green scales. Isabella drew her bow, ready to shoot, but noticed that the beast was covered in wounds and bleeding. She waited, and Arya appeared from nowhere and blocked her shot.)

Isabella: What the---

Arya: Listen.

(Both girls stare at the Rhaniad, who ignore both of them and tried to protect something. After some time, another beast jumped in, and began attacking the almost dead Rhaniad.)

Isabella: A GRISQUN?! FOR FUCKS SAKE!?

(The Rhaniad tries to fight, but her wounds are so deep, she fell prey to the savage Grisqun. The beast began eating the flesh of the fallen creature. Then he stops, raises his head, and walks slowly to the nest. There are some shattered eggs, but one of them survived. The beast decides to crush it, and then, the egg vanished. The creature looks at both sides in confusion and near a tree, a figure appears with a strange red colored rock. The beast let out a roar and went in pursuit of the figure. Isabella and Arya were watching everything in silence. The Grisqun jumped to bite the figure, but then crashed. Isabella gasped as the Grisqun was split in half. Blood rained everywhere, and the figure was standing with crimson eyes, as if were watching their souls. Both hunters stand in attack position. Then the figure collapsed. They went near it with caution, only to find a man, covered in blood, protecting the stone.)

(Joss awakens inside a house, covered in bandages. He can feel his head throbbing with pain. When he looks to his right, he notices that Isabella and Arya were watching him with a curious gaze. He moves away from the bed and falls off. Both girls grabbed their weapons, prepared for anything.)

Joss: Hey, don't shoot!

Isabella: Good, you can speak. Who are you, how did you kill a Grisqun with one attack? From where you come?

Joss: I—

(He touches his throbbing head.)

Joss: I don't know what you are talking about.

(Arya raises her hand. She withdraws her sword and kneels beside him.)

Arya: Name?

Joss: What?

Isabella: She is asking what are you!? What are you doing here?! WHO ARE YOU?!

Joss: I DON'T KNOW!!!

(Arya looks at Isabella. The later lowered her bow. Arya extended her hand.)

Arya: Name?

(He grabs her hand.)

Joss: I—I don't know who I am...

Isabella: Memory loss? Hmmm... What was the last thing you remember?

(Joss closes his eyes, trying to remember but nothing comes to his mind.)

Joss: Nothing...

(Isabella went to a corner to think. She watches Joss stand up. His clothes were different, and a shiny silver ring came to view. She walks towards him and tries to grab the ring. Joss slaps her hand and with a deadly look stare at her.)

Joss: Do not ever touch this.

(Isabella glared at him. The atmosphere was heavy, and Arya interrupted them.)

Arya: Joss, bath.

Joss: Huh?

(Isabella looks at the other way.)

Isabella: She wants you to take a bath.

Joss: Umh...thanks?

(Arya showed him the way to the bathroom. Isabella followed them from behind. He begins to undress, and Isabella catches a glimpse of a horrendous scar from his back that went from his neck to his waist. She gasps and runs to the room. Arya was preparing some tea and cookies. Isabella ran to her.)

Isabella: Arya, something is off with him! He isn't human!!! He has a giant scar and you saw how he slashed that Grisqun!

Arya: Isabella, trust. He good person.

Isabella: Have you gone insane?! He can kill us!

Arya: But he hasn't.

Isabella: How can you be so sure he will not do anything to us?!

(Arya points at the red rock)

Arya: He, kind.

(At that moment, Joss comes out of the bathroom. Arya offers the tea and cookies. He slowly sips the liquid and eats. After that, they went to the room.)

Isabella: Sorry for how I treated you. My name is Isabella, and she is Arya.

Arya: Hi.

Joss: Hi?

Isabella: Do you know where you are?

Joss: No.

Isabella: This will be very difficult. We need to go to the Guild Master. Come on, follow me.
