Chapter 25
Pacifica
"Are you okay?" Dipper asked. "I can get bandages."
"Bandages, please." I said, my lips quivering. I hadn't realized how much my cut arm hurt until now. I had held in my tears, trying to be brave. I didn't want Mabel to have the pleasure of knowing her torture was working.
Dipper sprinted inside, and he ran out a few seconds later.
"Where is your first aid kit?" He asked.
"In the kitchen, hanging on the wall next to the stove." Gideon replied. Dipper rushed back in and brought out the first aid kit. He set it on the ground next to me and opened it. I rolled up the bloody sleeve of my jacket and let him clean the blood off, put on a gauze pad, and wrap bandaging tightly around it, then tuck the end of the bandaging roll under the wraps.
"Does that feel better?" Dipper asked. The cut still sting, but it felt better under the pressure of the bandages and the fact it wasn't bleeding anymore.
"Yeah, thanks." I nodded. "It'll probably be better soon."
"Are you sure? I can put on more bandaging in case it bleeds more. That cut looked like it was near a vein. Or maybe I should put ointment on your scratch-"
"Don't worry, Dipper." I gently pulled down the sleeve of my jacket over my wrapped wrist and smiled. "I'll be fine."
"We should probably go tell Grunkle Stan the good news." Gideon suggested, picking the deed off of the ground where Dipper had put it and the Journal. "Thanks for your help, Dipper."
"It was no problem." Dipper shrugged. "Pacifica, before you go, can I speak to you for a moment?"
"Sure." I said. "Gideon, you go ahead to Grunkle Stan. I'll help Dipper clean up the first aid."
"Okay. Bye, Dipper, and thanks again." Gideon said, and walked away. I could tell he was still a little skeptical about Dipper. I didn't blame him after what had happened.
"So, what do you want to talk to me about?" I asked, as I started putting in bandaids that had fallen out of the first aid kit.
"I never wanted to help Mabel go inside your Great-Uncle's mind. She threatened to kill you if I didn't help her." Dipper said, picking up a wrapper for the gauze pad. "I didn't want to help her, but I didn't want you to be killed."
"I can understand that." I said. "But what about when you, intentionally, sent Will into my mind?"
"I..." Dipper seemed to be trying to think of something. "I just wanted to know what your worst nightmare was, just in case."
"You could have just asked." I said.
"I did ask, it's just that you said I was in the nightmare and you didn't want me to be mad. I was just curious, and I shouldn't have sent Will into your mind. I'm very sorry."
I looked at Dipper as I snapped the lid of the first aid kit shut. "I forgive you."
"Thank you." Dipper smiled.
"And I will be your girlfriend again, if you still want me to be."
"Of course, I do." Dipper put his hand on top of mine that was resting on the top of the first aid kit.
"But you can't send any more triangles into my mind, and you have to tell me if Mabel threatens you with my life ever again, okay?"
"As you wish." He smiled.
Gideon
I watched from behind a tree as Pacifica and Dipper talked. I couldn't make out their exact conversation, but from the way they were looking at each other and he placed his hand on hers, it looked like they were pretty friendly. I still didn't trust Dipper, though. Even though he saved me and Pacifica and helped get the Mystery Shack back, I knew there was something about him I didn't trust. He let himself be tricked by her psychotic sister, and even though he didn't listen to her in the end, who knew what lies she would come up with so he would talk to her after all of this?
After they got up to put away the first aid kit, I started walking down the road to Wendy's house slowly. I hoped Pacifica wouldn't become Dipper's girlfriend again.
"Hey, cuz!" Pacifica ran, and jumped next to me as we walked down the road.
"So what did Dipper want to talk to you about?" I asked casually.
"Oh, not much." Pacifica shrugged her shoulders. "He just wanted to clear up a few things and say sorry for some stuff, and we're dating again,"
I was silent for a moment as I tried to think of the right words. "Well...great for you. I hope it works out."
"Thanks!" Pacifica grinned happily, as if twenty minutes ago she wasn't staring right in the face of death itself.
After a while of walking, we arrived at Wendy's house, where Grunkle Stan was reading a newspaper on the steps of the front porch.
"Grunkle Stan! We got the shack back!" Pacifica ran up to him, jumping in excitement.
"What, really?" Grunkle Stan looked up from the newspaper in surprise, and I took out the deed from my pocket. "Hot Belgian waffles! Thanks, kids."
He hugged us, and took the deed and kissed it. "I don't know what I would have done without that old place."
"I hope all my favorite mold spots are there!" Pacifica squeaked. "Even Daryl the weird green slime!"
"Probably should get that fixed." Grunkle Stan mumbled. "But the Mystery Shack is back! Let's go home!"
After telling Wendy the good news and getting the few possessions we had with us, we got in the car and drove back home.
"So, how did you kids get the deed back, anyways?" Grunkle Stan asked.
"Oh, Dipper was able to convince Mabel to give it back."
"I'm glad they came to their senses." He shrugged.
When we walked inside the Mystery Shack, it was practically untouched except for Dipper's Journal #2 lying on the dinosaur skull in the living room.
"I guess Dipper left it behind." Pacifica said, picking it up. "It's getting late. I'll give it back to him tomorrow."
I took out my journal to compare it. "Maybe we should read this first. Who knows what's in there?"
"What's that you kids have?" Grunkle Stan asked from behind us. Me and Pacifica both turned around to face him.
"Should we tell him?" Pacifica whispered. I nodded.
"Well...I found this journal a few weeks ago that talks about all of the supernatural stuff going on in Gravity Falls." I held out Journal 3, and Pacifica held out Journal 2. Grunkle Stan took them and started to look through the pages. "We've been having a ton of crazy weird monster encounters, and after everything that's happened, we think you should know."
For a few moments, Grunkle Stan held a stern face as he looked through the journals. He then closed them.
"I'm glad you told me about this." He said, then burst out laughing. "So this is why you always go out in the woods on your little monster hunts! Although, some of this stuff would make great attractions! Can I borrow these for some exhibit ideas?"
He walked out of the room.
"Don't worry, I'm sure he'll give it back." Pacifica reassured me. "What would a boring old man like Grunkle Stan want with them, anyway?"
Wendy suddenly chose that moment to burst into the living room with a water gun. "Congrats on getting the Mystery Shack back! Mr. Pines told me to wash the floors, so why not with water guns?"
She threw two at us, and squirted some at me. Laughing, me and Pacifica ran after her.
Grunkle Stan
"After all these years,"
I had just went into the corridor behind the vending machine and down to the basement.
"Finally, I have them all."
I held Journal 1, Journal 2, and Journal 3 in my hands, and opened them all to a certain page containing certain numbers. I entered the codes and equations into the machine, pressing buttons and flicking switches, when something behind the door lit up. Quickly, I ran out to the large room behind the door. "It's working!"
I pushed a large lever, and bolts of electricity crackled as the machine started to power on. A bright, white light shine from it.
"Here we go."
A/N: I just wanted to let you guys know that I really appreciate all of your support on the story and it's gotten so many more views than I thought it would. Also, if you're wondering why I didn't use that many episodes to put in Reverse Falls, it's because the chapters were longer than I expected, but I'll put more season 2 episodes in Reverse Falls version. Also, at the end of this book, I'll make a couple extra chapters about a few episodes I didn't use that I have a few ideas for that would just be fun to write about that I would have used as fillers originally. If I come up with a lot, I might make another book for it. Anyways, thanks for all your support and reading this far, I really do appreciate it :)
(Oh, and the way Dipper bandaged Pacifica's arm is the way it was taught in a First Aid class to me, so just in case you're wondering, that's a good excuse that fanfiction is educational)
