Spies

Somebody requested this, and I cannot for the life of me, find out who! Just let me know! Hope y'all enjoy

"You know how this has to go down, right?" Pacifica asked, flipping down her shades.

Gideon looked at Pacifica. "How are we both going to be there at once?"

Pacifica bit her lip, this was not what she was expecting. "No, we're going to need some help. And someone else got assigned to this case."

"Well well well, I never expected to be teamed up with you two."

"Not him!" Gideon exclaimed, looking frantically at Pacifica with a worried expression. "He's horribly arrogant! Ya know," he paused and used quotations marks, "Dipper Freaking Arrogant Gleeful?!"

"Names aren't nice, Pines." Dipper rolled his eyes and stood beside them. "Now look, the only way this is going to work is if you both listen to-"

"No way!" Gideon said. "I'm not listening to this guy."

"Gideon we don't have much of a choice." Pacifica heaved a sigh. "He's one of our best detectives, he knows how to get information."

"Aw, I'm flattered, sweetheart." Dipper feigned a look of love as he pressed his hands to where his heart should have been. "Now, like I said, you two will need to follow my directions to the exact point."

"Alright," Gideon huffed. "How do we find out where they took the kid?"

Dipper chuckled, as if it was obvious. "Isn't it obvious?" He asked, looking between the two who only gave him confused looks. His facial expression turned sour by the second, "you're kidding?" He rubbed his temples and sighed exasperatedly. "Right, I must remember that I'm not working with Mabel and I'm- that doesn't matter, how are we going to do this? It's called reverse interrogation."

"Reverse interrogation?" Gideon echoed. "Huh?"

"It's where we bait them, pretending that we actually have the information that they need." Dipper explained. "For example, Gideon thinks that Pacifica knows something that could hurt him, but Pacifica and I are actually working together to get the information from him."

"That's. . .extremely clever, Gleeful." Pacifica admitted.

"Ah yes, terribly clever." He chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Considering that neither of you have ever been in that situation and I'm not willing to slap or punch a girl, I will be the one playing the interrogation-ee."

"How do you suppose that we do this?" Pacifica asked, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Just like this. . ."

Pacifica walked, trying to seem confident. She spotted the same car that she and Gideon had tried to track earlier and smiled to herself. She walked up to it and immediately opened the door and took a seat.

"What the hell you-"

"FBI," Pacifica interrupted. "Now I've come on unofficial business. No one is involved except me."

"What do you want?" The guy asked.

"I've recently picked up a junkie from the street, he does a lot of drugs, but I've known him for awhile." Pacifica explained.

"Get to the point!" The guy frowned.

"He often gives information, and it's always right. He told me that he saw a few men pick up a kid off the street, and for a couple hundred bucks, I'll let you get some answers from it before I take him in." Pacifica hoped that this would work.

The guy seemed angry at the mention of the kid. "When can I meet up with him?"

"I've got him in an abandoned storage unit not far from here, I'll lead you to him so you can ask him a few questions." She said, hopping out of the car. She flipped open her phone and started whispering in it. "He's hooked, time for the lead actor to take center stage."

"This is the place?" The guy demanded. "He's in here?"

"His name's Shep, and he'll give you information, now give me what you owe me." Pacifica extended her hand, just as the guy placed the cash in her palm. She pocketed it and smiled, "alright, let's get inside."

She led him inside the storage unit and sure enough, there was 'Shep'. A single light illuminated him, handcuffed to a chair, almost looking like he was sleeping. "Shep, this man has a few questions to ask you, and I think you'll feel like obligated to answer them because it's Showtime."

At the mention of the word 'showtime' Dipper's head snapped upward. "After all we've been through Miss Northwest," he slurred his words slightly. "You sell me out to this guy?" He jerked his head toward the man.

"Miss Northwest told me that you know something about a kid." The guy, who's name ended up being Brock, leaned close to Dipper's face. "I'm here to ask some questions."

"Whoa-ho-ho, Northwest, this guy's trying to kiss me, I'm not down for that." Dipper stuttered, trying his best not to break character.

Pacifica bit her lip, knowing that this was the point where she had to. . . She walked toward 'Shep' and slapped him hard across the face.

The slap echoed throughout the abandoned storage unit and Dipper was surprised by how much it actually hurt. "Okay okay," Dipper coughed. "What does he wanna know?"

"Where did you see them?" Brock demanded.

"I didn't see who they were!" Dipper exclaimed. "They just told me to find a place where they could store the kid for a few days to keep him off the streets. And believe me, I got paid a measly one fifty for that."

Pacifica couldn't help but admit how brilliant of an actor Dipper truly was. "Answer his questions." She stated.

"I d-dunno how else to answer it!" Dipper cried. "All I know is that we met up at a diner. . ."

"What diner?!" Brock demanded, stomping his foot.

"It had burgers and fries." Dipper continued. "That's all I know."

"The Greasy diner?" Brock asked him, looking Dipper directly in the eye.

"Y-yeah!" Dipper nodded. "That's right. I dunno who I was meeting with. . .but the waitress knew him. . .She called him Flowers."

Brock turned away and talked quietly into his phone. "I'm sending a guy over." He whispered frantically to the person on the other end.

Pacifica noticed that and grinned. When Brock got off the phone, she walked over to him, "this is taking longer than I thought. I need to make a call." She walked out of the storage unit, because she didn't want anyone to hear.

Once safely out of range, she flipped her phone open and called Gideon. "Get over to the Greasy diner. Like right now." She closed her phone after exchanging information with Gideon and heard Dipper.

"Get that knife out of my face!" He shouted in a slurring manner. "He's got a knife!"

Pacifica bolted back in and glared daggers at Brock, "what did I tell you?" She asked as he punched Dipper in the face. "You can't do that."

"So Shep, I had a guy ask around and turns out, there is no one named Flowers." Brock frowned. "Mind explaining?"

"No seriously! He uh. . .He," Dipper looked over Brock's head and noticed that Pacifica was making signals. "He had slick-backed hair, wears muscle shirts a lot. . .that's him."

Brock looked angry, as he stormed from the storage unit, fuming. Pacifica followed him and finally caught up with him. "What's wrong?"

"You were right! My own guys are going against me." He exclaimed angrily. "Now I need to get back there, but, I need to clean up this mess." He pulled a gun from his coat. "Starting with that junkie," he jerked his head toward the storage unit.

Pacifica held up her hands, "whoa whoa whoa, the police are gonna ask me what happened to him. And if I show up with his corpse, multiple bullet holes in him, I'm going down. And you're going down with me." She threatened. "Now, you use my gun," she handed him her gun, that didn't actually have ammunition, and smiled slightly. "And I'll say that he tried to attack me when I let him out to throw up."

Brock nodded, "alright. Bring him out here."

Pacifica nodded and walked back inside the storage unit, looking at Dipper. "Good news, we officially know where they're hiding the kid, and Gideon's on his way to pick him up."

Dipper grinned, "told you it would work."

"Bad news is, Brock wants to shoot you." Pacifica added.

Dipper's face fell. "Me?"

"Yes, you." Pacifica sighed, untying him. "But don't worry. I've got this, but take my gun back."

Dipper sighed and walked toward the entrance where Brock was waiting. "Let's take a walk," Brock cocked the gun and grinned at Dipper.

Dipper was suddenly back into actor mode. "No. . .you don't wanna do this man," he choked back tears as Brock led him out. "I-I could still be helpful! I can give you more information."

"Shut up!" Brock aimed the gun at Dipper.

"I don't wanna die," Dipper held his hands out, right before Brock could pull the trigger, he snapped his hands forward and pulled the gun from his hands. He kicked him in the shin and pushed him down.

"You little-!"

Dipper raced toward the car with Pacifica on his heels. "Let's meet up with Gideon." She told him, as she adjusted the passenger seatbelt, "I slit the tires of his car so he cannot follow us at all-"

Pacifica was cut off by Dipper kissing her roughly on the lips. He pulled away and turned his attention back to the steering wheel. "Let's motor."

"Looks like we did a good job," Gideon pointed out. "I think the three of us make a good team."

Pacifica smiled and nodded, still thinking about what happened in the car. "Yeah,"

"I agree," Dipper nodded firmly. "Unfortunately, I have to get back to my sister, until they call us up again. I'm thinking, once we get my sister in on this, we'll be the best team ever."

"Yeah! Let's do it!" Gideon cheered. "What do ya think Paz?"

Pacifica nodded slowly, "yeah? What the hell."

"I knew you'd come to your senses, sweetheart." Dipper took Pacifica's hand and kissed it gently. "Until next time," he spun on his heel and walked from the FBI headquarters.
