It is a normal day in pop village

Normal as in everyone is having a good time singing or hugging or just doing normal pop troll stuff. Queen poppy is currently checking around the village at the moment making sure everything and everyone are doing alright.

It's only been a week since the world tour but thankfully barb and the rock trolls were willing to help the other tribes out with reconstruction and they managed to rebuild everything pretty quickly thankfully but Poppy still likes to check on everyone like a good queen.

"Alright everything seems to be doing good and everyone's happy and that makes me happy!" She says gleefully jumping she could almost break out into song she was so happy but she manages to restrain herself for now.

"Poppy!" Biggie yells out to her. Fearing this is something new and possibly bad she races over to his yell and to her surprise following biggie was Barbs pet bat Debbie and she seems to be carrying some kind of package. "Its back! Please don't tell me this is another world tour situation!" Biggie yells terrified not wanting to deal with another thing like that again.

Poppy takes the package from Debbie and gives them a gentle pet to which she makes a pleased purring noise. "Looks like Barb sent us something" she says to Biggie. "I see that but why was it after me again?!" Biggie yells fristrated that this is the second time this has happened. "I'm not too sure maybe Debbie wants to be near you? Or maybe Mr.Dinkles?" She ponders to which Mr.Dinkles lets out a quiet 'mew'. "Well it better not be to eat him" Biggie days before running off to make sure Debbie doesnt get any ideas.

Riff found this really weird fruit while on his way to our concert for rehearsal. It's way to bright,colorful and glittery for me so you can have it instead.

She says as she reads the note that was stapled to the box. Oh my gosh Barb sent her a gift! She is so happy! If she had a tail it would be wagging like crazy right now. She early opens the package and gasps. The fruit looked like no other fruit she has ever seen and she has seen her fair share of fruit. Maybe it's some kind of exotic fruit from the rock kingdom? It is a bit weird as it's covered in glitter and glitter isn't really a thing for rock trolls.

Either way it was a bit bigger than your average fruit she had to hold it in two hands and it was around half the size of her head but it didn't seem too heavy when she lifted it. Giving Debbie one more pet she sends her off back to Barb with a smile and a wave goodbye.

She wonders how it tastes as she heads back to her pod for the time as she plans on sharing some. She is planning on sharing half with her amazing boyfriend Branch who at the moment was currently organizing his rations at his bunker and knowing him he probably hasn't had lunch yet as he usually ignores his personal needs when it comes to his bunker and organizing and she has to the one to snap him out of it and make sure he takes care of himself.

Arriving at her pod she takes a knife and cuts the fruit in half and when she does she is met with little to no resistance as she cuts it. Looking inside the fruit it's solid white inside and for some reason there were no seeds at all inside the fruit how weird. She sets aside one half of the fruit for later and puts in her fridge to keep it cool. The other half she takes out the inner fruit and cuts it into cute little cubes with toothpicks in them to look fancy and puts them on a tray. With her work done she thinks about just throwing away the skin but decides not to since it looks to pretty she is sure she can find something to do with it,but for now ONWARD TO BRANCH'S BUNKER!

She happily runs off to Branch's bunker eager to share this new fruit with him. Since she knows the way there like the back of her hand she is there in a matter of minutes and she even managed to not drop a single piece of the fruit! She knocks on the rock and early waits for her boyfriend. In about a minute he opens the slot on the mat. She can see his eyes widen before he opens up the secret door.

"What are you doing here Poppy I thought I told you I was organizing my bunker today?" He asks confused. "Well I know that but I also know that you don't take care of yourself when you do this so I brought over some fruit for you to eat and to help fill you up" She says holding out the tray with a grin.

Branch takes a good look at the fruit. It was very unusual he hasn't seen many fruit that is solid white on the outside or the inside that's for sure but Poppy did bring it to him and he is willing to trust her judgment. "Alright you can come in just be careful and don't break anything" He says and invites her in.

'Great! I didn't even have to beg him to let me in! He must be in a really good mood today'Poppy thinks to herself excited. Usually Branch prefers to be alone when organizing but he does let her in sometimes it mostly depended on his mood and judging how easily he let her in,he's in a good mood today.

The couple travel down into the bunker and Poppy can see that some things have been rearranged and reorganized. They soon name their way to the bottom. "You can just set them there" Branch gestures to a empty table and she sets down the tray. She grabs a piece of the cut up fruit one for herself and one for Branch. "Here try it" She says holding out the piece to him and he takes it and seems to get a better look at it.

He smells the fruit and the odd thing is that it has no scent. He knows his stuff around food as he needs to know what foods are ok and not ok to eat and he knows that there are very few fruits that have no scent let alone white fruits. Before he can say anything though Poppy pops the piece into her mouth.

Her eyes widen and they were....gleaming? He looks at her with a confused expression. "Branch oh my everything this is so good I haven't had anything this good in I don't know how long!" She says savoring the flavor. He looks at her for any symptoms in case this fruit is somehow poisonous but as she continues to savor the flavor nothing happens so he decides to take a bite of the fruit to see if it's all that.

The moment he bites down and tastes the fruit he couldn't believe what he was tasting! It was like his taste buds have died and gone to heaven it was so good there is no good way to describe it! It's both sweet and savory bit also with a ever so slight saltiness so it's not overly sweet! He feels like he could eat these things forever and never get tired of it!

"Poppy this is amazing!" He says astonished. "I know right!?" She says happily agreeing with him. He quickly goes to the tray and gets more and it was so delicious. Every single bite has him closing his eyes in bliss and since he frogot to eat lunch this is happily filling up his empty belly. Before he knew it almost the entire tray is gone save for only 2 or 3 pieces. "Branch! You ate almost every single piece you were supposed to share!" Poppy exclaims sad that Branch ate so much that she barely got any.

"Oh sorry Poppy there are 2 pieces left you can have them" He says handing over the last 2 pieces to her. She quickly swipes them before Branch gets second thoughts and happily eats them and enjoying herself. "That tastes so amazing I have never had anything like it! Where did you get this from?" Branch asks curiously.

"Oh I didn't get it it was gifted to me" Poppy says still savoring the flavor. "Oh? Who gave it to you?" Branch asks narrowing his eyes. He knows that the village knows that he and Poppy are dating and it better have not been a guy who gave this to her. He knows he shouldn't be wary or jealous as Poppy would never do something like cheat or even think about it but he can't help himself and overthink everything.

"Barb gifted it to me she had Debbie drop of the package" she says happily. That made Branchs pupils dilate. "WHAT?!" He yelled shocked much to the confusion of Poppy. "What are you yelling for?" She asks tilting her head as if not understanding what this could mean.

"Poppy spit that out right now!" Branch yells going to grab her face but she swallows the fruit before he could. "Whats wrong branch?" She asks not getting the picture. "Don't you get it?!" He says putting his hand on his head as he begins to pace back and forth. "Get what?" She asks really not understanding what has Branch so worked up.

"She could have just sent us a poisoned fruit and you just ate and oh no i need to spit it out its not too late!" He says as he begins to try and make himself throw up but thankfully Poppy stops him. "BRANCH STOP! ITS OK!"She yells trying to calm down her boyfriend.

"How is this ok?! We might have just been poisoned or worse for all we know!" Branch still doesn't quite trust Queen Barb yet due to the whole world tour thing and being turned into a rock zombie also did add to that. "Branch it's ok she just sent this to me because apparently Riff found it and it was too 'bright,colorful and glittery' for her tastes and she sent it to me, cause well look at us we are all of those things and thought we would like it instead'" She explains trying to calm him down before it gets bad and before he would do something stupid.

"Bright?colorful?glittery? That fruit didn't look like any of that stuff" Branch says annoyed. "Oh trust me it was I just took out the insides of the fruit and cut it up is all. If it helps you any I still have half of it in my pod as it was pretty big maybe we can look in a scrapbook to see if there is any information on it and if not we can just ask my dad" Poppy says trying to help defuse the situation.

Branch looks at her for a good minute before sighing "Alright we will go and see if there is any information on it but if we end up vomiting our stomachs out or end up dead in a few hours don't say I didn't warn you." He says annoyed as they both head up and leave the bunker.

They make their way to the library and begin to look through all the known fruits. Thankfully the other tribes have been willing to share some information on their locations  like their foods and plants via encyclopedias in case there are any travelers so they can know what to eat and what not to eat and such. They look through both the books that have information on the fruits found in their territory and the ones found in rock troll territory they even went through country and classical troll encyclopedias but nothing showed up.

They looked for hours until it was near dark and nothing was found nothing even remotely resembles the fruit that was found. "Just what is going on there has to be some information somewhere?!" Branch yells exhausted from staring at books all day and his anxiety not letting him rest as what he consumed might have been poisonous so he is both drained physically and mentally.

"Look Branch it's getting dark how about we go ask my dad tomorrow maybe he knows?" Poppy says yawning also exhausted. "Why not now?" Branch asks. "You know my dad is asleep by this time and it's pointless to try and wake him up he can sleep through just about anything" Poppy says and Branch can agree he has seen and heard of things King Peppy and slept through and knows its no use and decides to head home to his bunker as Poppy head home back to her pod.

"Here's to hoping we aren't dead tomorrow" He says closing the door to his bunker and heading to bed.
