Chapter 32

**  The first part is just catching up with the residents of Resurrection.

Tim had two weeks before his job at the bar actually started. The band only performed three nights a week. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday starting at eight o'clock and playing until twelve midnight which was closing time. But Reba paid them very well for those three nights.

Adam started his job the very next day. His five-hour shift would run from two in the afternoon until seven, Monday through Friday. He loved it. That way, he would still have plenty of time to spend with his boyfriend. He could also leave work and make it to the bar to catch the band on the nights they performed.

For the next two weeks, Tim was to meet the other guys of the band over at Brian's house where they would practice. They would be doing covers to songs and a few of Tim's originals.

Sami and Olena were lucky enough to both land jobs at the casino as waitresses. Their jobs were to walk around and serve drinks to the customers that were gambling. Chance and Austin weren't too pleased with their attire but they trusted their girls.

(Along with cowboy boots)

Chance was doing very well with his job. His bosses were very pleased with his work. It was tiring but he was doing something that he always loved to do.

Nate was also doing well as Assistant Manager at the Dollar Store. He called it a 'gravy job'.

Jenika was absolutely loving her job at the candy store. She said she gained ten pounds by just the smell alone.

Avi and Chris were making great progress with the garden and greenhouse. They laid water lines and installed sprinklers to give the plants an adequate amount of water.

Austin had yet to find a job that he would enjoy but he went out looking every day.

Rob and Kelsey went back home to Minnesota but promised to be back for Tim's debut.

"I'm about to run out of places to look." Austin sighs as he looks at the 'Help Wanted' ads in the local newspaper.

"There's no hurry." Tim says as he sips his coffee. "Don't go for a job that you know you're going to hate."

"I'm just not cut out for a bank job or hotel clerk." Austin sighs once more. "That's just not me."

"Well, you enjoy being outdoors so maybe you can find something in that area." Adam says with a shrug.

"Like what?" Austin asks as he folds up the paper.

"They offer a lot of tours around here. Maybe you could try something like that." Tim suggests.

"But wouldn't I have to have knowledge about the place?" Austin asks. "But that would be fun though."

"I'm sure they would train you." Adam adds.

"You could stop by the hotel and talk to Mr. Douglas. He's lived around here his entire life. He could tell you what kind of tours they give and where to apply." Tim says as they begin to gather up the breakfast dishes.

"GUYS! GUYS!" Avi shouts with excitement as he runs into the train station.

"WE'RE IN THE KITCHEN, AV!!" Tim yells.

"GUYS!" Avi shouts once more as he runs into the kitchen. "WE GOT SPROUTS!!" He adds as he begins to dance.

"Sprouts of what?" Adam chuckles at Avi's excitement.

"CORN!! THE CORN IS COMING UP!!" Avi yells as he dances. "AND LOOK AT THIS!!" He holds out a very small potato.

"That's awesome." Tim smiles as he takes the walnut size potato from Avi. "But it's kinda small isn't it?"

"Give it a few weeks and we'll be having home-grown fried potatoes." Avi grins proudly.

"Sounds good to me." Austin says with a smile. "I need to head out. Can't find no job sitting here."

"Good luck." Tim and Adam say in unison.

"Thanks, I'll need it." Austin chuckles.

"Hey, before you come home can you swing by the hardware store and pick up some insecticide?" Avi asks.

"Sure. Just write down whatever you need." Austin nods as he starts the dishwasher before heading out with Avi's list.

"I need to go too." Adam says as he wipes off the table.

"But I thought your shift didn't start until two?" Tim asks.

"I have to go in early for the next few days to watch the other DJs and to get familiar with everything." Adam answers. "What time do you have to be over at Brian's?"

"About three o'clock until whenever." Tim says.

"Well, good luck, Sweetie." Adam says as he gives his lover a sweet kiss.

"You too, Angel. I'll listen when I can." Tim replies with a smile.

Tim walks Adam to his car then goes inside the house to take a shower. He had a few hours before he had to be at Brian's. Gathering up everything he thought he would need, he was finally able to sit down and relax a bit.

"What the hell was the name of that station?" Tim mumbles as he scrolls through the channels of his radio.

Finally giving up, he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. He knew he could still read thoughts but did he still have the power to speak to others using their minds?

'Hey, Babe?' Tim attempts to send a message to the blonde's thoughts.

"OH, SH*T!!" Adam yells as he swerves over on the other side of the road before getting control of his car. Luckily there was no other traffic. He chuckles nervously after realizing his lover was trying to contact him. Apparently, another gift that he brought back from Dead Town. 'You scared the crap out of me.'

'Sorry.' Tim smiles as he hears Adam reply. 'I'm trying to find the station on the radio but can't remember where to find it.'

'It's 98.3.' Adam answers.

'Thanks, Babe. Love you.' Tim says as he turns the radio to 98.3.

'Love you more.' Adam says with a smile.

'Not possible. Good luck.' Tim says as he leans back in the recliner to listen to the radio.

Tim actually loved the music the station played. Songs that he grew up listening to that he hadn't heard in years.

He suddenly sits up in the recliner as he hears the DJ introducing their newest disc jockey that was sitting in on his set. A huge grin comes across his face as he hears Adam's voice.

"It's him! Oh, my God! That's my baby." He says to himself before jumping up and running out on the porch to see if he could find some of their friends. He was definitely having a fangirling moment.

He sees Avi and Chris working nearby at the greenhouse.

"GUYS!! COME HERE!! COME HERE!!" Tim yells before running back into the house.

Avi and Chris look at one another. Thinking something was wrong, they throw down the tools they were working with and run toward the bottle house.

"TIM, WHAT'S WRONG??!!" Chris shouts as they run into the house.

"Shhh! Listen!" Tim says, pointing at the radio.

"What?" Avi asks with a confused expression, thinking the mayor had already lost his freaking mind.

"There!" Tim smiles as he points to the radio again as Adam begins to talk. "That's my baby."
