"Miss Jäger!" A voice from behind her called, "Miss Jäger I must insist on you stopping this instant!"
Liesel, needless to say did not stop. Nor did she listen. She instead continued to wheel herself around on the wheeled chair she had found. If that wasn't enough, she had demolished it somewhat. She had pulled off the back, managed to fine tune her power to encase her fingers, with the electricity now buzzing around her fingers like a blade; she lopped off the back attachment properly. She had thrown this to one side before putting the chair as low to the ground as possible.
She was bored. Hugely bored. So she decided to have some fun. Some fun just so happened to be the opposite to what everyone else saw it as. Did she care? No. What was the worst they could do? Kick her out of this facility? Yes, like that would surely work. Liesel narrowed her eyes as she kicked off the ground, she placed her foot back on the seat with her other and went hurtling down the corridor. Kicking her out...hm, yes because she would actually go? Would they actually try and make her leave knowing she could possibly ruin the building? Or would they detain her here until she started to behave?
Liesel jumped off of the seat and ran down the rest of the corridor. She was more than aware to the agent still running after her. She could hear him cursing his luck, one such thing being; "Why do I have to be on mutant patrol?" Liesel almost spat out an insult at this, but decided not to. She was bored. And no one around here was any fun.
No sooner had Charles and Erik disappeared did Hank lock himself away to work, and Raven accompanied him. They had some project or something-or-rather. She didn't pay attention. She slyly smiled at them though. Secret project her little finger...like she believed that! Jumping down the stairs she continued on her way until she hurtled into someone. Papers and files went scattering everywhere as she, as well as this other person went sprawling. Sitting up and pulling paper off of herself, she looked forwards.
"Gotcha!" A voice from behind said as a hand was clasped onto her shoulder and she was hauled to a stand. Liesel naturally yelped at this and cursed the man, not that he understood German at all it seems.
"What are you doing?" Both looked forwards, Moira stood looking rather unamused as she briefly looked to the papers around her and then to the two of them.
"She's-"
"Not her, you. Why are you manhandling her, hm? What gave you the right to do that, exactly?" Moira shot the male down, Liesel found herself being let go. She looked to the agent and then to the female agent.
"Sorry for running into you." She apologised in an honest tone. She really didn't mean to barrel into the poor woman over.
"Well if you had him chasing you, then I don't blame you for running. As ways of making it up to me, you can help pick all this up." Moira gestured to the files on the floor. "That's all, she's fine with me." She shot an icy look to the other agent who shuffled off complaining about women, in general. Which caused Moira's glare to turn even icier, if that were humanly possible.
Liesel held out the papers to her and smiled. "Sorry again." She apologised while slowly stepping back and having full intentions of turning away and walking off.
"Oh, no you don't." Moira reached out with her free hand and grabbed onto Liesel's shoulder. She shot a look over her shoulder which made Moira instantly retract her hand. "You don't have limited access to this building, how'd you get up here?"
"It isn't hard to hack a security key pad. Even more so when I can short circuit it." Liesel explained. Yes, she was trespassing on one of the higher levels of the building which were all keycard access only. She got curious, what were they hiding up here? Her answer: a whole lot of nothing. There was literally nothing. Just more boring meeting rooms which were all identical. That's where she formally got her chair from.
Moira didn't seem pleased by her answer, tucking the files under her arm she nodded backwards. "Come with me." Liesel just stood and looked at her firmly. Moira shifted her weight and looked at her sternly. "Now, please." She couldn't help but feel like she was telling off a small child. Liesel shifted forwards though and walked by her side. She was silent, and from the look on her face Moira could tell she was not happy. "Listen, I don't mean to ruin your fun. But you aren't here to run amok."
"I'm here to fight, isn't that right, Agent MacTaggert?" Liesel asked stiffly while they made their way back downstairs.
Moira sighed and pushed open a door, making sure Liesel went through first and didn't do a runner back upstairs. "You don't agree with this I see."
She narrowed her eyes at her. "Being given orders by people like you, no. I can't say that I am wholly agreeing on the matter."
"What do you mean?"
"I'm not really a massive fan of your race, if I have to be blunt. You are...so destructive, and so hurtful. You are capable of such horrors, trust me; I know. It is funny that you seem to think you have control over this all...I know this man you hunt for rather well, begrudgingly. So let me tell you now: whatever you think you're doing, it isn't going to work." Liesel said while innocently smiling through everything she said. Moira looked at her with a frown, how she could look so content and innocent was beyond her. It was a bit too genuine to be true, which made Moira believe she was acting for face value.
"How do you know?" Moira asked while they came to a stop.
Liesel smiled at her. "Because I have known him to sentence people to death and not blink an eye. You say he works with the Russians? It is a lie. He is one step ahead, always has been. I mean...he didn't stick around with the Nazis, did he?" Liesel smiled and turned away from the female agent's side.
"You were with him on his ship, what did he say to you?" Moira turned and looked at her.
Liesel stopped in the middle of the staircase and looked over her shoulder. "We are the future." She paused. "I said I would not side with him. And I mean it, I never will. Do not be mistaken by my words, I am with you...but let us clear this now, yes?" Liesel walked back up the stairs and stopped in front of her. "I am not here for you. I am not here for your little human race. I am here because I am sick, and I am tired of seeing that man be the route of so much death and destruction. I may think that your plan to stop him is ridiculous, because it is. Men like that, the only way to stop them is by killing them. Yet you won't want to, will you? A prison cell will not hold him, Agent MacTaggert." Liesel looked her straight in the eyes without blinking before smiling and waving a hand. "Ah! This got so serious all of a sudden, did it not? Excuse me, I must take my leave to go and find something edible to eat in the kitchen. The food here is awful, what I wouldn't give for some decent coffee and a pastry, how I miss Paris!" Liesel chimed while walking back down the stairs, Moira stood and watched her go with an unreadable expression.
With a quiet scoff Liesel shot a look over her shoulder, she heard Moira's footsteps retreat into an office and then she was on her own. Even the people here were boring. Everything here was just so boring. She was so used to having freedom to go anywhere, within reason. She was never restricted, not since she was a child. Suddenly being told where she was allowed to go and when did not agree with her. She did not like authority. Especially when the authority were so ignorant.
Whistling to herself she swung her arms by her sides and turned the corner. She had no doubt in her mind that what she had told Moira would get told to others. Perhaps to the man who bought them here? Charles and Erik included? Liesel rolled her eyes. She didn't care. She was fed up, and as childish as it seemed when she got fed up she got really quite stroppy. As her earlier words and actions showed.
Noticing Raven practically speed walking down the corridor, Liesel stopped and smiled. "What's up?"
"They're back." She said with a growing smile. Raven's excitement was clear, and evident as she basically bounced when she walked. Liesel could understand that, it seemed out of everyone, Raven had come up short; her brother would go and do whatever, and she was expected to stay here. And here Liesel thought she was bored to death, she could only imagine how Raven felt.
"So soon?" It puzzled her, she expected them to be out longer, they'd been gone a few hours, if that.
"Don't say it like that, Liesel! You make it sound like you wished for them to be gone longer." Raven sighed and shook her head. It wasn't that, if they were gone longer, it meant neither Charles or Erik were going to find out about her chat with Moira so soon, and she'd be able to come up with excuses and reasons for her words. "Aren't you a least bit excited to meet who they've bought back with them?" Raven beamed, she for certain was curious as to who the new person entering this place was going to be, and what they could do.
Liesel stood in thought for a moment. Was she? No. Not really. With a shrug she gestured a hand back behind her and followed by Raven's side. Liesel couldn't help but be pessimistic, she'd seen what Shaw could do, even an army couldn't stop him. Needless to say Hank was not with them to see the newbie. Since coming here Liesel had only really seen him twice, and neither of those times had she even really had a proper conversation with him. She was happy Raven, was so easy to talk to. Though her endless happiness Liesel found somewhat naïve, as mean as that sounded. She wasn't that much younger than herself, actually, a few years were between them it seemed. Liesel did like the younger female though, there was something about her character which was just so easy. She had this aura which screamed happiness, calm, and all round curiousness.
Stopping outside, Liesel leaned against the door frame as Raven stood beside her. They watched as not only a dark haired female got out of the car, but also a tall African-American male in his mid-thirties, his dark eyes looked around confused. The female pushed her hair over her shoulder and seemed bemused as well by the sight of the building, as well as the welcome home party.
Looking to the side as Moira appeared, Liesel frowned as she watched whispered words with Charles and Erik. She frowned even more when they all looked to her. Crossing her arms she peeled away from the door frame and walked back into the building. "Liesel, we need to talk." Awkwardly tilting her head to the side she looked over her shoulder at Charles, she narrowed her eyes yet faced forwards and continued on her way. Her serious expression was met with an even steelier one, she'd be found out in a few moments and then this talk could happen, that she was sure.
