Hero School Showdowns, Part Eight
After a long while of throwing daggers and finding out who they got, the groups soon went off to change their clothes and prepare for the Jail Tag.
Eri was in deep thought about what Ben had said to her. His words made no sense to the child. What did they mean?
She didn't think too much about it, though, and quickly came out in her gym outfit to a huge whiteboard with the taggers labeled.
Yuujin -> Kota -> Touma -> Kokoro -> Jinpei -> Satsuki -> Taeyang -> Miyako -> Beom -> Rōzu -> Sarah -> Eri -> Natsume -> Katsuma -> Keisuke -> Tamashiro -> Ayame -> Hanmo -> Terumi -> Kanjo -> Akinori -> Mizu -> Young -> James -> Yui -> Tokabashi -> Yuujin
"I'm not looking forward to this," Taeyang deadpanned as he came out wearing just a red shirt with the TTS symbol on it and sweat pants.
"You clearly aren't," Pilseung teased his boyfriend from behind him, using a plain blue shirt with the same symbol and sweat pants similar to Taeyang's.
"Why would I?"
"You have a point."
"Can I sleep now?" Jinpei deadpanned. "I'm going to be chased by a guy who can make me feel anything, and my target is someone with a Frog quirk."
"Just hang in there," Steven sympathetically patted his back. "We have a warmup round at least."
"This will allow us to fight on equal grounds, to ensure fairness in the fight," Yuujin said as he stepped out wearing his usual casual outfit.
"I'm not ready for this, but let's do it," Keisuke laughed.
"Sounds nice to me, cause these two look so annoyed at all the cheerleaders surrounding their girlfriend," Uju gestured to Fubuki and Sinae, who had their daggers at the ready. Fubuki was also building something with her left hand, which was definitely not a good thing.
"Alright you kiddos, let's just go and have fun for this round while getting used to this place. I'm sure it'll be fun at least," Ben cut in.
"Can we please drag her out of there?" Beom crossed his arms.
"No can do. She deserves love after all the nonsense she's been through," the red-haired male shook his head. "I'll let her be. Plus, she's good at adapting. She'll find a way."
"Alright then," Natsume smiled. "If you want, you can try doing her hair to help you guys bond."
"Sounds nice," he admitted. "I'll try that. Thanks, Natsume."
"Hey, no problem," she waved it off.
"Upupupupu! You guys are having so much fun chatting!"
"Thank goodness Class 1A is finally out, then!" Nana cheered as true to her word, the other kids stepped out, ready for the Jail Tag.
"Can't we play an actual round first?!" Tamashiro protested towards his sensei, who shook his head as he answered, "No, that wouldn't be fair for the kids. Remember they're younger than you. Well, most of them are. It's best to be fair to them."
"But in a real battle, it wouldn't matter," Katsuma pointed out.
"Just because it doesn't matter in a real battle doesn't mean that we can't try to be fair," he shot it down. "No more questions."
"I agree," Hanmo nodded. "Let's get this started."
"Sounds like a plan!" Terumi smirked as he juggled a soccer ball, much to most of the kids' confusion. "Time to bring Heaven down on them."
"We don't say that!" Ayame and Touma deadpanned at the same time, causing him to flush slightly as he quickly apologised.
"Well, either way, we should get this show on the road! Let the warm-up round begin in three... two... one, GO!"
At that, they all sprinted towards the grounds, ready to either scout or catch someone.
