Eflite Beechcraft Staggerwing 480 ARF

Last year I bought a used Pitts 850mm with the idea of flying this at the house.  It's wingspan is  only 33" wide, but it is nearly as heavy as the Waco.  This, proved to heavy to take off half way down the driveway.  It is an aerobatic plane, and has the ability to move fast - not something I can actually fly well at this point.

I came across an Older biplane called a Staggerwing.  The actual Staggerwing has a cabin and has four seats and retractable landing gear.  The Eflite Staggerwing has all these features.  But there's a catch.

There's a number of types of kits available:

- RTF Ready to Fly:  Comes with everything, unpack-age, maybe some minor assembly,  do ground checks, and fly!

- BNF Bind and Fly:  Requires you have a receiver and an aircraft battery.  Some assembly may be required.

- ARF Almost Ready to Fly: Requires assembly, typically does not come with all the electronics (motor, ESC, receiver), may require other system (Air Retract system).

- Kit: Requires assembly, electronics, cutting and forming and painting (as a minimum).

I say ARF is an outright LIE!  But to be fair, it was actually fun putting this together.  It has a 35" wingspan, the prop is 10 X 7, and it weighs in at 25.7oz.
