Chapter 3: Pain

Third POV

Jungkook woke up to the sound of snoring in his ear. He opened his eyes to be face to face with Jimin. He was sandwiched between the two boys which happened to be very comfortable. 

His whole body was still in pain from the rejection. It faded but it was still there. 

"Wake up," he whispered to Jimin. No response. So he tapped him. No response. 

"You got no jams," he muttered upset he didn't wake up.

"I do," Jimin pouted opening his eyes.  He slapped his arms. 

"You butthead," Jungkook frowned, "You were awake this whole time."

"What time is it," Yoongi groaned waking up. 

"Too early," Jungkook replied petting his head. 

"Stop that," he whined pushing my hand away. 

"My little kitty," the younger purred. 

"Loser," Jimin laughed loudly clutching his stomach. Yoongi got up and threw a pillow at him. 

"So can we talk about what happened?" Yoongi asked seriously. 

As if on cue his wolf whimpered.                                

"It's okay Jungkookie," Jimin cooed pulling him into a hug. 

"My mate rejected me," the raven-haired boy cried tucking my head into Jimin's chest. 

"Who is he?" Yoongi growled standing up. 

"I can't tell you," the boy sobbed even harder. If his brother found out and he did something to the Alpha he would get stripped from his position or worse. Jungkook can't do that to him. He deserves to be beta. 

"It's okay baby," Jimin sighed, "You can tell us when you are ready."

Soon a sharp pain struck the boy. He groaned and fell backward. It felt like his skin was on fire everywhere.

Mate is with someone else. His wolf growled. Jungkook cried even harder and fell off the bed. He clawed at his skin trying to get rid of the pain. 

"Kook!" was the last thing he heard before he blacked out.

Jungkook woke up again and felt pain all throughout his body. The bed underneath him didn't feel normal. Where was he?

He opened my eyes and gave them time to adjust to the bright light above him. 

"Help," he groaned. His voice came out scratchy and dry. 

"Oh baby let me get you some water," someone yelled rushing out of the room. 

The room he was in was a boring shade of blue. There were beeps coming from the machine near him. 

"Hey kookie," someone else said petting his hair. He turned to see his brother. 

"I'm back," Jin announced walking into the room. He held a water bottle in his hand and quickly fed it to the boy.  

"What happened?" Jungkook asked after he finished gulping down the water.  

"Make it blunt," Jin whispered. 

Yoongi cleared his throat, "Your mate had sex with someone else." Jungkook eyes widened at the total opposite of bluntness. 

Jin slapped him, "You were supposed to ease it onto him dumbass." 

"I knew," Jungkook muttered stopping the two from fighting. 

"You did?" Yoongi and Jin asked with wide eyes at the same time.

"My wolf told me," he answered looking down and started playing with his fingers.

"You have to tell me who it is," he begged. Jungkook knew he shouldn't because of what would happen after. In response, he shook his head. 

Mate is being bad. His wolf growled. I don't like human mate. 

So you like the wolf? The boy asked confused. 

I like him but I'm mad at him. He answered.

Let's punish him. His wolf laughed. 

Naughty wolf. He frowned.

"Are you feeling better?" Jin asked. 

"So much better Jinnie," Kook giggled. Hoping that sounded real as he turned to face Yoongi.

"How are you so strong?" Yoongi sighed running his hands through his hair.

"My wolf is," Jungkook replied, "He's taking most of the pain so I can't feel all of it." 

"Well your both are strong," Jin smiled. 

"When can I leave?" Kook asked looking Yoonie in the eyes because I knew he couldn't resist the eyes. 

"Hopefully today," he sighed.

"Kookie!" Jimin screamed running to greet me with a hug. 

"I missed my bunny," he cried, "Let's go eat lunch with the everyone."

"Can I  have milk please," I asked Jin who was beside me. 

"You can after you eat with lunch with everyone," Jin smiled and skipped into the kitchen. 

"Let's go," Jimin giggled pulling Jungkook into the large dining room. 

The large room could seat 100 and was decorated top to bottom in expensive decor. The glass chandelier hanging in the middle of the room made everything seem more extravagant. There were around 70 people sitting and chatting while waiting for the meal to come out. 

Jungkook noticed the Alpha was missing and he sighed happily because he didn't have to deal with more pain. 

Jimin ran and quickly sat down at the table dragging Jungkook to sit next to him. 

In the mix of the conversation, Jungkook was hit with a strong scent. He looked around and locked eyes with the person he did not want to see. 

Taehyung entered the dining room to see his pack talking and he decided to join them for lunch before doing some work. 

He almost backed out of his plans when he smelled strawberries. 

The mate bond was there but it was weak. Why?

That's is because in order to get rid of it completely Jungkook must accept the rejection. But he didn't because Taehyung ran. 

So naturally, Taehyung felt the pull towards the pretty boy. Once he locked eyes with him he felt his knees getting weak. 

Go to mate and say sorry. His wolf growled. 

No, he's an omega. He countered. 

I don't care. His wolf continued. His wolf is mad at me and I don't like it. 

He still didn't want to do it. His parents always described him as an arrogant and stubborn person. These traits only grew after they left and the pack knew not to disturb him. 

He sat down at the head of the table ready to be served. 

Soon the dishes were being served. Everyone was given the same dish except for a certain person. This boy was given mac and cheese with a side of banana milk. 

"Why wasn't he given the same meal?" Taehyung stopped Jin and asked him. 

"He had just returned from the hospital and he requested it Alpha," Jin rushed out because he wanted to get away from him as soon as possible. 

"You may leave," the younger spat before digging into his meal. 

Taehyung sat there wondering why the boy was in the hospital. Sure rejection is painful but he needs to be tougher. No weakness is tolerated in the pack. 

"He's probably exaggerating," Taehyung concluded in his mind. 

"Hey baby," A voice purred entering the room. Usually, that voice would excite him but his mind was occupied with a raven-haired boy. 

Mina managed to sit down on Taehyung's lap and quickly pecked his cheek. When Taehyung met her in high school she was the popular cheerleader. The "mean girl" but it all changed when they got together. The boy was a well-known player so it was a shock to see him settle down with one girl. Mina to be exact. She smiled and kissed his lips and turned to have a bite of his food. 

Jungkook watched this scene unfold in front of him and his heart was slowly tearing even more. He has a partner. 

What a hoe. His wolf sneered. 

Language. Jungkook scolded. 

Luca keeps apologizing to me but I'm pretending to ignore him. His wolf chuckles darkly. Jungkook now discovered that Tae's wolf was named Luca. 

You show him Nova. Jungkook giggled. 

His wolf was always there for him. He can't not be. He knew that Nova was in pain also but he was dealing with it by using anger. 

The lady kissed him again and soon Jungkook whimpered. 

Jimin turned at the noise and tried to look to see what the boy was staring at it. 

"Wait your mate is--," before he could finish the sentence Jungkook pulled him out of the room into the hallway causing everyone to turn their heads. 

"Yes," Jungkook sighed. 

"No wonder he rejected you," Jimin said throwing his hands up, "He hates omegas." 

"Yeah no kidding," Jungkook laughed. 

"And he's making out with that hoe right in front of you," Jimin sneered. 

"Yep."

"That jackass needs to suffer," Jimin chuckled darkly. Jungkook opened his mouth to reply but was cut off. 

"I have the perfect plan." 

Jimin took out his phone and dialled a certain number. While the younger was trying to peek to see who he was calling. 

"Hey, I need your help."

Something drama filled will happen next chapter.

This was just to show how the poor boy is dealing with his pain.
