Amanda's POV

"Good evening Miss Black what a pleasure to see you here" I smiled at him.

"The pleasure is mine and I would like to congratulate you on your upcoming wedding " he returned a smile. Then looked at Tyler who didn't seem fazed.

"And who is this charming young man?" He asked.

"He's my um..." Tyler cut me off "I'm her date Tyler Kingsley" he introduced.

"Nice to meet you Mr Kingsley. Well it was nice to see you again Amanda and it seems I'm not the only one falling in love" he whispered the last part in my ear causing me to blush.

"Good night sir" he nodded then walked off. See I knew this would happen.

"I don't understand. You were in tears hours ago but now your composed and polished like nothing happened. How? " I too a sip of my wine.

"In this business showing weakness if showing sign of defeat and I can't do that. I have people depending on my to be strong for them and I have to" I stated then turned around sensing someone was approaching me.

I was greeted by.......Mr Powers from PowerPoint industry.

"Good evening Miss Black" he smiled taking my hand and kissing it gently.

"Oh good evening Mr Powers. Nice to see you again it's been awhile" it was two months ago.

"Too along I'm afraid. I heard so much has happened with your aunt dying you taking over the company. I'm sorry I wasn't there to support you" I tried to hide my discomfort.

"It's fine really. But my personal life is none of your concern we are not in a relationship" I stated he smirked even more.

"But we soon will be" he whispered.

"Actually no you won't. I'm Tyler Kingsley her boyfriend" Mr Powers smirk fell instantly.

"So your their guy she's been walking around with. New spreads fast Miss Black" I was beginning to feel....weird so I cut our conversation short.

"Yes it does. It was nice seeing you again Mr Powers" I then pulled Tyler with me. I wanted to get as far away from that guy as possible.

"Who was he?" Tyler asked pissed. Here we go again.

"A business partner" I stated then we mingled with a few gusset until the party came to an end. Judging by the amount of people here paparazzi is bound to follow. I knew I should have drived.

We walked outside trying not to be seen but no some reporter had to stop us.

"Miss Black is it true that the company has fallen bankrupt and your now seeking employment" talk about trust. I mean it's only been a couple months people.

"No of course not. I've just been out of he spot light seeing my aunt died but I'm back now. If you excuse me I really need to go" Tyler held my hand and led us through the crowd. I tried to ignore the sparks. We were about to enter when we were stopped by yet another reporter.

"Miss Black! Please tell us how are you comping with your relationship with the famous Liam Bloodshot" I stopped in my tracks.

"Liam Bloodshot? He is only a business partner. The only relationship I have been in is with Mr Kingsley" were do they get these things from.

"But rumors have spread you are having an affair with him" I felt the grip on my wrist tighten.

"I am an eighteen year old girl who has a business to run. I have no time to be having sex with anyone. I can't afford to get pregnant at my age. Now good night" I then walked in the limousine and shut the door.

"I swear to god these people are driving me nuts" I mumbled as the car drove away.

"It's him isn't it?" Tyler asked as we reached his room.

"Who?" What is he talking about.

"Liam" I couldn't help but laugh.

"You thought.....I....was.....cheating....on you....with him......hilarious" I manged to say between laughs.

"Your not"

"Of course not. He's only been to my office for business purposes not to have an affair. Although he's flirted with me one or two times" I told my mate smiling. I hated the fact I was lying to him.

"If it's not him and your single. Would you want to...goonadatewithme?" He spoke so fast I didn't catch a word he said.

"What" he sighed then rubbed the back of his neck. A trait I've noticed when ever he's nervous.

"Would you go on a date with me?"

(Let's review our situation here. I'm going to go out tonight with my mate while someone is out there trying to kill him and hurt me. Yup this is just wonderful. But I don't want to say no........fine I'll go but I'll bring weapons just in case something happens)

"Yes I'll go on a date with you" his eyes lit up and he came to hug me then spined me around.

"You look so beautiful" he said. He must of thought he said it in his mind.

"When's the date?" I asked as he set me down.

"Tonight get dressed Storm and Clover are coming to help you get ready" I nodded then looked around the room and spotted another letter.

I turned around and saw Tyler was distracted so I took up the letter and shoved it into my pusre. I continued looking around until I found the photos I left in his room.

"Um Tyler can I have these back?" I asked taking them up. He nodded not moving from where he was.

"What are you doing?" I asked walking over to him.

"Um....nothing" he hid what he had behind his back.

"Okay....since its nothing I'll just be going" I said walking out. I then walked to my room and placed all my things on the bed then looked at the photos.

"Hey Big Mac" I said pointing at my brother in the photo the one with him chasing me for his scythe.

I heard muffling in my closet and immediately went in a fighting stance. What I was shocked to see was Ava waddling out of my closet wearing my shoes. She looked so adorable.

"I look pretty" she said to her self looking in the mirror. Then Tyler burst through the door growling.

"Who's here?" he asked looking around.

"Calm down Mr. You look like that guy Manda beat up" Ava said still looking in the mirror.

"How did she get in here?" He asked I shrugged. I didn't know either.

"Mommy does this look nice on me uncle Nicholas said we were having a tea party" Tyler wimpered.

"She's yours" I shook my head.

"No actually she's a friend" I stated honestly.

"But how did see get past all the security" Ava answered that one.

"I asked then to play hide and seek"

"Makes sense" I said to him then suddenly Tim and Hunter rushed in and looked around.

"We are so sorry Luna. We didn't kno-" I cut him off.

"I know her now could you guys get out I need to get ready"

"Yeah she needs to look prettier that you Mr" Ava said pointing at Tyler who shook his head.

"No one can resist this" I nodded then Ava said.

"And no one can resist barfing" I tired not to laugh as Tyler growled and lunged at Ava who screamed and ran out the door screaming mommy.

How did she get in here? And we're are her parents.

"Luna" Storm and this other girl said walking in. She must be Clover.

"Please call me Amanda I don't like being called Luna or Miss it makes me feel old" Strom laughed while I turned my attention to the other girls. She had amber eyes with long blonde hair.

"I'm Clover third in command nice to meet you" she greeted.

"Amanda Black and Grimm Reaper" I introduced she looked at me up and down.

"Your her!"

"I'm who now" I am so confused.

"Your the girl that runs BTE" Oh that makes sense now.

"Yeah that's me" she squealed.

"I'm meeting the richest teenager ever. This is a dream come true. Didn't you know your the youngest CEO to ever be put into place" I nodded feeling uncomfortable.

"The Alpha asked us to help you get ready not chit-chat " Well someone's just a bunch of sunshine.

"Relax Storm. Luna is trying to be nice" I like Clover.

"I will not disobey my orders" Storm stated.

"Whatever. Oh you should meet James he's going to love you" Clover said.

"Who's James?" I asked.

"He's her mate" Storm repiled bluntly.

"But how is he not third in command?"

"Because I was originally the third. He was a pack warrior since I had a higher rank he joined my pack" I nodded. But I'm a rouge yet still I am of higher rank than Tyler.

"Let's just get the Luna ready" I groaned while Clover skipped towards my closet.

"You look nice" Tyler complimented me breaking the akward silence in the car.

"Yeah you too" we have been driving for half an hour where are we going. I bet if I drove we would be there already.

"Look. I'm trying to make this work but it seems you don't want it to work"

"No I do want it to work it's just that I'm thinking"

"Of what?" Why don't I learn to keep my mouth shut.

"It's nothing. Where are we going?" I asked playing with a strand of my hair.

"You'll see" we drove for another five minutes then he pulled up to an expensive looking restaurant.

"I cant" I told him not wanting to come out of the car.

"What do you mean"

"Your spending so much money on me. I know you can't afford all this. I mean it's nice but I don't want you pampering me while your pack suffers" he shook his head.

"No its fine. We won't be able to do this everyday but it's a start. There's nothing I wouldn't do for you" I blushed.

"I still can't I earn this amount of money per hour your getting that per month I can't do this to you nor your pack"

"Please do it for me" I couldn't say no so I agreed.

We walked in and I was surprised he made reservations. The waiter lead us to our table which was on the outside on a small balcony. We had the perfect veiw of the woods before us.

"It's so beautiful" I breathed admiring the sight.

"Not as beautiful as you" I blushed and we took our seats.

"Aren't we going to order" he shook his head.

"No....I can't afford it. I'm sorry" he whispered holding his head down. This gave me the perfect idea.

"It's okay. I'll pay but don't worry technically your paying" he looked confused.

"Since you've worked with me for the past two months I think your way over due for a paycheck.

His eyes widened to the size of saucers.

"No I can't it wouldn't be fair" I laughed.

"Don't worry about it okay. It's fine now let's enjoy our night" he shook his head.

"I feel bad I mean I can afford there food but the pack it my priority" I nodded.

"Let's do it this way. How about we go somewhere fun like a walk in the woods you'll love it trust me and by time were back well go and get something to eat" he finally curved seeing I wasn't going to let him off the hook. If only I knew what would happen next.
