*Third Person*

Adelyne was frozen in shock and for a second and she thought she might be hallucinating.

"Nathan?" she asked uncertain.

He nodded with a smile. And that's when Adelyne flew into his arms and hugged him tight letting a few stray tears fall. Nathan chuckled and hugged her back. Nathan was Marys husband, Adelyne's older sister. And the fact that he was standing here in front of her alive was a miracle.

"Nice to see you too sis" he said.

Adelyne's clutched his shirt,

"Mary? My sister? Is she alive? Is she here?" she asked in a rush nearly shaking him.

Adelyne followed Nathan as he led her back to his campsight. She was so happy to learn that a small part of her family was alive. She thought everyone in the world she had ever known was dead. Besides her group of course and even they had lost some of their own. Her group! They must be worried sick about her. She left in the middle of the night just to get away for a bit. It felt like she was suffocating whenever she was around Daryl and that seemed to be all the time. She just wanted to hunt and take a breather. She left a note stating that she was going to be okay and she was.

"Are you okay? You're sort of limping" Nathan asked.

Adelyne looked at him being brought out of her thoughts.

"Yeah I'm okay. Thanks for showing up when you did. I thought I was a goner" she told him.

Nathan nodded.

"No problem, honestly I didn't even exspect to see anyone, surely not you" he said with a shocked tone.

Adelyne honestly thought the same. She stopped mid step realizing something.

"Wait, what are you doing here? You guys lived in Florida, why are you here?"

Nathan looked at her.

"Well when everything fell apart Mary tried numerous times getting you on the phone but we never got through. And then the lines were down and she insisted that we come get you we made it to your house but you and Katie were gone."

Adelyne stopped in her tracks at the sound of Katie's name. It had been a while but it felt like Adelyne had just lost her yesterday. She missed her everyday though the pain hurt it was becoming bearable. At first it felt like even taking a breath was hard. But dwelling on something that was done was pointless. No matter how many times Adelyne cried or screamed it wouldn't bring her daughter back. Nathan stopped noticing her not following and turned to her.

"Adelyne, are you-"

"I'm fine" she answered holding up her hand. "Can we please go see my sister?"

Nathan nodded and wrapped his arm around her shoulder and kept walking.

*Adelyne*

We neared the campsight and the only reason I knew was because I seen a tent that was set up. My stomach felt tied in knots. How long have they been living this way? Nathan told me to wait, before he had a chance to say anything my sisters head popped out of the tent. Her eyes gazed up at her husband and she must have felt my eyes looking because her gaze flickered to me and her eyes widened. I smiled and thats when Mary nearly bulldosed Nathan and ran to me engulfing me in a tight hug. I hugged her back and cried tears of joy at being reunited with my sister. She pulled away and I looked at her. She still stood several inches taller than me her frame a bit smaller than usual.

"Adelyne oh my god. Are you really here? Am I dreaming?" She asked.

I shook my head no and she smiled and moved a few locks of my hair away from my eyes. Something she often did when we were younger.

"I'm really here" I said.

Mary smiled again and then looked at me seriously.

"Katiebear?"

I bit my bottom lip and then tears brimmed into my eyes slipping down to my cheeks betraying me. I shook my head. Mary covered her mouth and her eyes brimmed with tears. Thats when she hugged me again and I let the tears flow as I cried into her chest.

"Mommy?" a small voice spoke.

That's when I pulled away and wiped my eyes and Mary turned around and I seen my eight year old niece Layla in the opening of the tent.

"Aunt Addy!"

Thats when she shook her brother Chris who was asleep next to her. He groaned and then woke up more fully when Layla flew out of tent and I bent down and she hugged me knocking me to the ground. I smiled chuckling I stroked her hair and kissed her head.

"Hey babygirl" I said my hug lingering.

That's when a sleepy eyed Chris walked up to me and hugged me. I kissed him and hugged him then told them I had to speak to their parents for a bit.
---------------------

I stood with Nathan and Mary.

"How long have you guys been here like this?" I asked.

Mary ran a hand through her short dark hair.

"Um we were with one group before and then we kept bouncing around when we realised you were gone" she confessed.

"So you've been living in a tent since almost the beginning of this shit?" I asked.

Nathan nodded.

"Well what about you?"

I sighed and thought back.

"I was basically living the same way with Katie and Mike. I was found by Daryl and his brother and he took me back to his camp. Mary get this, Rick is our leader. But we were at a quarry outside of Atlanta that's where...Katie passed. Then we were at the CDC, then a farm and now our group is at a prison. We lost people, Lori included. But she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl."

After absorbing everything I told them to get their stuff together. Because they were coming back to camp with me.

*Third Person*

The sun was setting there maybe a few hours of sunlight left. Daryl looked out into the feild and sighed. He jad called it a night from trying to find Adelyne before he lost the light. He would pick up her trail again when dawn hit. Carol had came out to talk with him for a while and gave him so food. Daryl had been in a major funk ever since Adelyne snuck off in the middle of the night. The doors opened and Daryl looked back and seen Michonne walking out.

"Hi" she said closing the door.

"Hey" Daryl told her and then looked back out.

For a while there was nothing but an awkward silence.

"She's going to be okay. I don't really know her all that well but, Ive seen her when she walked around here. She has the will and strength to survive. She'll make it."

Daryl didn't even meet eyes with Michonne but he held up his hand with an arrow between his fingers.

"I found this, pinning a walker to a tree. This is Adelyne's arrow, I also found another in a walkers skull not to far from the first one. She always retrieves her arrows. She didn't which means shes in trouble. And...now I don't know if she's alive or dead."

Daryl took a deep breath and cleared his throat. He had just blurted out his worst fear. He had no idea if Adelyne was even alive and that scared him more than anything. He just wanted to find her and make sure she was safe. He loved her.

"Daryl she's okay. You need to believe-"

She stopped short when Daryl stood up walking towards the fence for a closer look at what caught his eye. Michonne gasped and yelled for everyone who came running out.

Then barelling out of the woods came people. Five of them Adelyne being the first one. They were running along the fence and when Adelyne got to the opening she opened it as quick as possible. The other four came first and the group then realised why they were moving so fast. Thats when walkers came pouring out of the woods. Not many but too many to handle. Adelyne quickly closed the tie and walkers smashed against the fence knocking Adelyne to the ground onto the gravel. Rick opened the gate and everyone started walking down the path. Adelyne got to her feet and the other woman and man started taking down walkers through the fence as the two children stood back. Then started walking to the opening of the feild.

"She's back" Daryl said relieved.

"Yeah but who are they?" Maggie asked.

Rick gripped his gun as a precaution.

"We're about to find out."
