Damn two chapters in one day hope you guys like this one it was long  :)

*Daryl's POV*

After Dale's service everything seemed to just fall in a deep dark depression and I exspected it to. Dale was dead we ahad lost others too but Dale's death seemed to hit everybody really hard and we had taken it upon ourselves to kill walkers. Exspecially Adelyne I didn't want to her to come but she did anyway and took out every walker she had the chance to letting out some anger she kept bottled up. She stood with her head leaning back and her heart racing . I knew she was upset and she didn't hide it neither did Andrea. Dale was our voice of reason and now he was gone and it hurt really bad. I wasn't close to him but he did mean something to the group and not just the group but me too. We all headed back to the house and discussed what we would do about Randall. We agreed that Rick and I would drive him out and leave him like it was suppose to go the first time. The sun was close to going down and I finally had time to sit down with Adelyne. I held her from behind around her waist and laid my chin on her shoulder.

"You okay baby?" I asked softly.

She turned her head slightly and she was able to look at me.

"I'm fine."

The trucks came rolling up with all of our stuff. We were moving into the house since the winter was coming and the nights were getting colder. Adelyne pulled away from me and went to help everyone else bring things into the house. I was up on the shack nailing the top slits shot so Randall couldn't sneak out if he managed to get free. I watched Adelyne here and there and she was looking out into the distance and I seen what she saw. Lori and Shane talking to eachother she shook her head and kept helping take stuff inside. I kept nailing the little shack. Lori started walking back as Adelyne was grabbing stuff.

*Adelyne*

After moved everything in I sat on the porch and listned to Daryl and Rick talk about where they would take Randall. Shane came up and that's when I retreated inside not wanting to be a part of whatever discussion was about to happen. I sat in the kitchen and Maggie walked in.

"You okay?" she asked.

I looked up at her and nodded.

"Yeah I'm okay just tired I guess" I told her.

Maggie bit her lip and then nervously she asked.

"Do you think Glenn loves me?"

That was out of the blue. My gaze met hers and I smiled.

"Yes honestly I think he does"

Maggie smiled and she shrugged.

"It's just he-"

"He hasn't said it yet. Give him time he will" I reassured her with a smile.

"So you and Daryl. Did you know eachother before the world went to hell?" she asked.

I hopped up and sat at the counter top.

"No I met him after he found me as I was hunting for my daughter and my friend Mike"

My heart sank a little bit. Don't cry don't cry.

"You had a daughter. I'm so sorry Adelyne I didn't know, mind if I ask how old she was?"

I shrugged and moved my hair away from my eyes.

"I don't mind and she was seven years old. She got bit and our campo had gotten attacked when some of the others from the group and I came back from Atlanta. Long story" I explained.

We talked for a little bit longer and laughed about stuff and then it was time to let Randall go.

*Third Person*

Tdog walked up to the shack and banged on the door.

"Yo Randy. Govenor called you're off the hook."

He opened the lock and walked inside and seen Randy was gone.

"Oh hell no."

Everyone satrted rushing out as TDog started yelling we all rushed up and then stopped.

"What's going on?" Adelyne asked.

"Randall is missing" Glenn said.

Maggie's eyes widened in shock.

"Missing how?"

"How long's he been gone?" Hershel asked,.

"I'm not sure it's hard to say" Rick explained. "The cuffs are still hooked. He must have slipped em."

Carl was hugging Adelyne and Lori stood next to them.

"Is that possible?" Adelyne asked.

"It is if you've got nothing to lose" Andrea answered.

Hershel closed the door to the little shack and sighed.

"The door was secured from the outside."

Suddenly that's when Shane came out from the woods with a bloody nose. Adelyne looked at him with suspsion lingering in her eyes.

"Rick! Rick!" Shane yelled.

"What happened?" Lori asked.

"He's armed! He's got my gun!"

"Are you okay?" Carl asked.

Shane walked closer to them and Adelyne looked at everyone and bit her lip.

"I'm little bastard just snuck up on me clocked me in the face" he told everyone angry.

Rick turned.

"All right Hershel, TDog get everybody back in the house. Glenn, Daryl come with us."

"I'm going to" Adelyne said.

Daryl walked up to her and put his hand on her face and shook his head.

"No this is dangerous you're going to stay right here you hear me?" he said strain in his voice.

Adelyne put her hands on his chest.

"But Daryl I-"

"No stay here"

He kissed her passionatly pulling away.

"T, I'm gonna need that gun" shane instructed.

"Are you sure he has your gun Shane?" Adelyne asked with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Are you calling me a liar?" he asked glaring.

"Yeah actually I am" she told him stepping forward but Daryl put his hand on Shane's chest.

"Back up" he growled and Adelyne almost went weak at the knees becasue he sounded so sexy.

"Just let him go. Wasn't that the plan?" Carol asked.

Rick ran a had through his hair.

"The plan was to cut him loose far away from here not on our front step with a gun."

"Don't go out there. Y'all know what can happen" Carol yelled as they walked away.

"Get everybody back in the house. Look the doors and stay put" Rick yelled as they walked into the forrest.

They all went back into the house.

"I saw him head up through the trees that way before I blacked out. I'm not sure how long" Shane told everyone.

"Can you track him?" Rick asked Daryl.

Daryl looked at the ground and and sighed.

"Nah I don't see nothin."

Shane rolled his eyes.

"Hey, look, there ain't no use in tracking him okay? he went that way. We just need to pair up. We spread out we chase him down. That's it."

Daryl looked at him raising and eyebrow.

"Kid weight a buck twenty five soaking wet. You're trying to tell us he got the jump on you?" he asked.

"I'd say a rock pretty musch evens out those odds don't you?" Shane asked.

"That's enough we need to pair up and find him. Be careful Randall's not the only threat out there" Rick insturcted.

*Adelyne's POV*

Night had fallen and I had become worried no one had come back yet. No one knew waht was going on. We were waiting for whatever knews came and my worry became more high as the night grew longer. I heard a faint noise of the back door and I seen Carl booking it to the forrest. Shit! I closed the door softly and ran after him. He made it to the forrest and that's when I caught up with him and grabbed his arm he turned scared and then seen it was me.

"What the hell are you doing Carl?" I asked angry.

"I want to help and to protect Dad" he told me.

"This is not the time to do it. This is reckless Carl you could've gotten hurt of worse" I was so mad that I could smack him.

He's lucky I didn't if my daughter did something like this I would tan her ass.

"You can go back if you want but I refuse to go" Carl said.

I shook my head.

"No chance I wont let you stay out here alone I'm staying right with you."

We walked along the forrest floor I don't know for how long but we came across Rick and Shane in the pasture. They were cirling and I knew that all to well. Carl and ducked down behind a bush and watched the scene.

"You really belive if you walk onto that farm alone--no me, no Randall--"

"I want you to hush up" Shane said.

"You think they're going to buy whatever bullshit story you cook up"

Shane stepped to keep Rick in view at all times.

"That's just it. It ain't no story. I saw that prisoner shoot you down. I ran after him I snapped his neck. It ain't going to be easy, but Lori and Carl will get over you they done it before" Shane explained.

Oh my god. He was going to kill Rick my heart started to beat faster and I wanted to get up but I didn't want to risk Carl getting hot because I did something stupid. He grabbed a hold on my hand that was in the dirt. That's when Shane cocked his gun and aimed it at Rick.

"Why? Why now? I thought we worked this out"

"We tried to kill eachother man" Shane chuckled. "What did you think? We was just gonna forget about it? We gonne ride off in the sunset together?"

"you gonna kill me in cold blood" Rick said. "Screw my wife, have my children, my children call you daddy is that what you want!? That life won't be worth a damn. I know you, you won't be able to live with this" Rick exaplained to him.

"What you know about what I can live with? You got no idea what I can live with what I live with! You wanna talk about what I can do Rick? How about what you can do? Here I am. Come on, man. Raise your gun" he taunted,.

He was pushing Rick trying to push him over the edge.

"No I will not" he muttered.

"What happened, Rick? I thought you weren't the good guy anymore, isn't that what you said. Even right here right now you ain;t gonna fight for 'em? I'm a better father than you Rick. I'm better for Lori than you. It's cause I'm a better man and I'll be there I'll fight for her. But you come back here and you just destroy everything! You got a broken woman.You gota weak boy. You ain't got the slightest idea how to fix it. Raise you gun."

Rick held out his hand.

"You're going to have to kill and umarmed man."

My heartbeat picked up and I looked at Carl.

"Take me gun" I whisprered.

"No" he said.

"Damnit Carl no bullshit take my gun now!" I whisper yelled.

He took it and I stood up.

"Stop!" I yelled and they both looked at me.

My eyes locked with Shane.

"Don't you dare don't you dare shoot him!" I screamed.

Rick looked at me scared for me but I wasn't backing down.

"Stay out of this Adelyne!" Shane yelled.

"You staged everything you wanted to kill Rick put a bullet in his back. you know your plan won't work" I said.

"shut up"

"Adelyne get out of here now!" Rick yelled.

We ecshnged words and then Shane came charging at me and Rick ran grabbing him and stabbing him in the back. The gun went off but he didn't get me.

"Damn you for making me do this Shane! This was you not me! This was you not me! Not me!" He screamed.

Carl came out from the bushes and as rick killed Shane. Rick cried and looked up his hands bloody.

"Dad" Carl said walking closer.

Rick stood up and seen Carl his exspression went to shock and he seen my gun in his hands and then looked at me knowing we seen everything. Rick started to walk towards him and he aimed his gun making him freeze and I froze too. What the fuck Carl?

"It's not what it seems please" Rick pleaded with his son.

That's when I seen Shane rise as a walker and a gunshot rang and Shane fell to the ground. Both Carl and I ran to him and hugged him.

"Oh my god are you okay?" I asked looking him over.

"You guys should be back at the house with mom. I told you all to stay put" he explained.

"You could've died Dad" Carl said hugging him.

"I know."

We examained the dead Shane and started walking back until we heard growling and seen a heard of walkers walking towards us. So many undead bodies walking our way.
