*Adelyne's POV*

Shit! I was so close we all followed and Shane came bursting through the metal fence pushing it open.

"What the hell you doing?!" Shane yelled.

I wondered the same thing.

"Shane just back off!" Rick yelled.

"Why do your people have guns?" Hershel asked.

"Are you kidding me? You see? You see what they're holding onto?!" Shane yelled.

Everyone stood as everything unfolded.

"I see who I'm holding onto"

"No man you don't." Shane circled around Rick and Hershel avoiding the walkers.

Rick looked at me for a second and I shook my head and he looked back at Shane.

"Shane just let us do this then we can talk."

"What you want to talk about Rick? These things ain't sick they're not people they're dead! Ain't gotta feel nothing for them 'cause all they do, they kill these things right here! They're the things that killed Amy they killed Otis, They're gonna kill all of us."

"Shane shut up!" I screamed and Daryl looked back at me and nodded slightly.

Shane stood feet away from Hershel and took out his gun.

"Hey Hershel man, let me ask you something could a living breathing person, could they walk away from this?"

Shane shot the walker three times.

"NO!" Rick screamed " Stop it!"

"That's three rounds in the chest. Could someone who's alive, could they just take that?! Why's it still coming?"

He shot the walker again twice, my heart was racing.

"That's its heart its lungs. Why's it still coming?"

He took more shots.

"Shane enough!" Rick yelled."

Yeah you're right man. That is enough."

Shane shot the walker in the head and it fell causing Hershel to fall to his knees. I stared at this scene just in shock. I stood with Carol and she took hold of my hand and stood horrified like me. Everything seemed to be in slow motion for a moment until Shane spoke again.

"ENOUGH! Risking our lives for a little girls who's GONE! Enough living next to a barn full of things that are trying to kill us enough! Rick, it ain't like it was before! Now if y'all want to live, if you want to survive, you got to fight for it! I'm talking about fighting right here, right now."

Shane ran for the barn.

"Take the snare pole. Hershel take the snare pole. Hershel, listen to me, man please. Take it now! Hershel! Take it!" Rick yelled.

Shane started smashing the barn causing a ton of noise. Lori was yelling Ricks name i had tears down my face.

"Rick!" I screamed but he ignored me and Daryl looked at me for split second I had tears running down my face.

This wasn't going to end well. Shane kept trying to open the barn.

"No, Shane. Do not do this, brother. Wait!"

"Don't do it!" Glenn yelled.

"Rick!" Lori yelled holding back Carl.

Rick ignored us all. He was more focused on getting Shane to stop.

"Please! This is not the way! Please!"

Shane held his gun up and one by one he started shooting walkers and everyone else who had a gun joined in. I stood with Carol and we watched the slaughter just happen. Shane shot the walker Rick was holding and as soon as it fell Carl tried to run to him but Lori held him.

"Stay back!" he shouted over the gunfire.

Carol and I hugged but we couldn't tear our eyes away and I was crying. When the gunfire stopped everything was silent. Daryl looked back at me and I cried holding Carol and I seen the look of sadness on his face. Suddenly a walker came out of the barn wearing tan shorts and a blue shirt. Oh no Sophia. Carol let go of me and ran shouting her daughters name with tears and I fell to my knees letting the tears flow. Daryl stopped Carol before she got to close and she cried as Rick walked over to Sophia looking broken and a gunshot rang and Sophia fell to the ground. No not another little girl. No.
