"GINERVA!" SHOUTED Daisy-Marie . "Harry Potter is here, at this house!"

Ginny waited. Mum's shrill voice should be wavering through the house, ordering Daisy-Marie to stop shouting. It never came. It was obvious that Mrs. Weasley favours sweet Daisy-Marie over Ginerva.

Ginny sighed internally and mumbled a small, "Okay."

But, of course, Daisy-Marie didn't hear it and started whining, "Mummy! Ginerva isn't answering me!!!!"

Ginny groaned. Mentally complaining, why does Daisy-Marie get to scream, whine, and get all she wants when she doesn't get or do anything? Yet, above all this, Ginny knew that she shouldn't be whining, even to herself. She had learned far long ago that she in fact could tune out on all of her mother's lectures of how 'she isn't doing as Daisy-Marie' or 'why can't you just do something nice for your sister these days? Huff, you don't do any for her!' and, 'you can't yell, Ginerva. It disrupts everyone else while they are trying to work! Quiet down.'

Ginny also knew that she would have gotten in trouble anyways, with either being quite quiet, or quite loud. Both unacceptable. She thought that they just want a reason to hate her.

 "I said, 'okay!'" Ginny called.

 Daisy-Marie growled, "Fine!"

Ginny pulled her jumper on and walked down stairs, slowly but surely. There, Harry Potter, a scrawny looking boy sat, in her chair. Daisy-Marie sat next to him, flirting with him. Ginny wanted to laugh out loud. They were waaaaay to young for that stuff.

"That's my seat," Ginny whispered, standing behind Harry.

He g!danced up. "It is?" He asked, startled. " Oh, well I could stand? "

Ginny quickly shook her head, "It's okay." Then, she turned quickly and hurried back up stairs.

"Who's she?" Ginny heard Harry ask.

Ginny stayed behind to listen, wanting to see if Daisy-Marie would be nice or rude.

"Oh," said Daisy-Marie no doubt fluttering her eyelashes, "She's my younger sister, she really is a spoiled brat. You wouldn't want to associate yourself with the likes of her. Once you get to know her, she'll take all that you have away."

" Oh, " Harry said. "She seemed nice."

"That's what she wants you to think. Then, once you get lured into her trap, your stuck. You'll never get out. It's quite hard to find out. She's lured Mum and Dad into the trap, they think she's the best thing ever."

 " Really? " inquired Harry.

 "Really," confirmed Daisy-Marie .

"Oh, I'm sorry, I bet that it is hard to deal with her. I feel bad for you. She must be loads of rubbish."

Ginny wanted to scream. But, she couldn't. Being quiet for six years of her life had taken its toll, and her scream was probably Daisy-Marie's quiet yell. Ginny sighed, besides, she will just get yelled at by her sweet, loving, totally not picking favourites, Mummy.

She ran upstairs and grumbled to herself. Well, there goes the possiblity of liking Harry Potter. And, anyways, why would he even make an effort to be friends with her? After all, he could have the popular, loved, older sister over the hated, ugly younger sister.

Her mother was always saying things along the lines of how Daisy-Marie always did things perfectly. For sure, Daisy-Marie would get into Griffindor. Like, it only makes sense if Daisy-Marie would get into the 'best' house in the whole world.

Ginny didn't understand. They all say that Griffindor is the best house, all because this guy named Dumbledore got into it, and all they talk about is how this all so great Dumbledore is so, so, so amazing and the 'best wizard of all times'. But, it is possible that he isn't as good as they say him to be.

Everyone also says that Slytherin is the 'worst' house. Which doesn't make sense because they say 'He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named' is in there. Honestly, was 'H.W.S.N.B.M.' really that bad? That led Ginny to wonder if his parents chose such a rubbish name that they have to call him 'He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named' because if they didn't, everyone would not take him seriously. But, Ginny hear his name before. It was quite peculiar, if you ask her. It was something along the lines of Moldywart, or not. Ginny suddenly knew why he was and is called 'He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named', it was a rather long title, if you ask Ginny. Or, as Ronald says it,'You-Know-Who'. But, that made Ginny wonder, what if we don't know who 'You-Know-Who' is? Anyways, they all think that Slytherin is bad to the bone, and not worth the fame. But, as far as Ginny could tell, Slytherin housed the greatest wizard of all times, not 'He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named', or 'You-Know-Who', or Mr. Dumbledore, the Headmaster of Hogwarts, but, the great man, Merlin himself! Merlin, they didn't think of him when they were mentally giving the 'Best House Award' to Griffindor. Just because of one man, ONE MAN, Griffindor got the 'best house' and Slytherin got the 'worst house'.

They didn't even bother with Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff! The Wise and Caring. Those two houses should get the 'best house award'. Because, surely, when Slytherin and Griffindor are fighting, they might be choosing sides, Ravenclaw with Slytherin, and Hufflepuff with Griffindor, but Hufflepuff is like the most loving, caring, loyal house. They acctually care for people outside of their house. And, Ravenclaw, they all say that Ravenclaw people are to 'wise for their own good' and 'stuck up know-it-alls', but that doesn't mean that all of them are that way, Ravenclaw is smart, makes good choices, and are 'goody-two-shoes'. But, 'goody-two-shoes' are sometimes good, they might be able to save your lives, or get you out of trouble with that brilliant mind of theirs!

Ginny checked her bag for the millionth time, she had all the clothing she needed, and a couple spare gallons. A little crash at the window startled her, glancing over, she saw an owl, with a letter in it.

She quickly unlatched the window and let the owl in. He pluncked the letter on her desk and disappeared out the window before she could say 'thank you'. Ginny knew that Errol wouldn't stay for her because of her mother. Ginny grabbed the letter and read it to herself. It was for Hogwarts! She grinned, finally being able to escape this place she called home.
