THE CROWD AT THE MOTEL, was the same as always, idiots who chase the fame and thrill like Tyler and those who wanna help (Jackie), two total opposites. Yet as scientists say idiots and smart-asses, are like two attracting magnets, perfect for each other. Well not exactly it's just a ton of weird flirting and stolen gazes, talk about pining.

Jackie and her crew stood around each other passing out drinks to others, humming softly to a song playing by the fire.

"I'm gonna go to bed, don't have too much fun without me, kids." She grinned to her friends grabbing her pink tote bag, filled with cleanly washed clothes and another pair of flare jeans.

"No promises," Hunter winks chuckling sipping his beer as Jacqueline passed Tyler and the wranglers heading upstairs around the same time as Kate.

"Princess if it ain't a pleasure to finally see you," He smirked, at the sight of her in her soft pink sweatshirt and tight jeans, dressed like sin every time he sees her. A little bit of color filled her face as she glared at him.

"What do you want, Owens?" Jackie smirked leaning against the railing, her royal blue eyes shining under the moonlight.

"How you know city girl?" Ty grinned back fixing up a part of his truck that went missing in the tornado, unbothered by her gaze even though it made him feel his insides burning when she was nearby.

"That's not my story to tell," She shrugged, sipping her beer ready to lie in bed and forget about this restless day.

"Just a little? Anything at all?" He pouted, glancing at her before Katie joined Jackie lying her hands on the railings, looking between the two trying to read them.

"No, nothing at all." Jacqueline hummed, escaping up the steps blowing a kiss and waving unbothered by Tyler, ready for bed.

Tyler grinned, as Ben asked questions to Kate, glancing between the two trying to understand their relationship.

She walked up to the motel room, yawning finishing off her beer yearning for a warm shower and to push Tyler Owens out of Jackie's cursed mind.

"Stop, thinking about him." Jacqueline cursed staring at herself in the mirror, swallowing harshly noticing the dirt and blood from lassoing tornadoes, and chasing them like no tomorrow.

The Harding girl turned on the shower, glancing at her phone waiting for any sign of her brother's call or anything from her parents, but noticing nothing once again.

She sighed, feeling the warm water cascade down her back trying to rid the thoughts of disappointment and yearning for the man she hates.

Jackie washed herself pushing all those thoughts away, taking away the silence from her own blood—her family.

Anger burned through her skin, and her mind as she stepped out of the lukewarm water, Jacqueline's bottom lip started to quiver before straightening up and collecting herself.

A tear rolled down her cheek as she stared ahead, looking at herself in the mirror before a knock sounded at her motel room door.

Jackie wrapped the towel tighter, trying to mask the bloody lip from hitting her dashboard after a quick stop trying to reach the tornado in time before the others.

She opened the door and saw Tyler Owens in all his manly glory, tight jeans, tornado wrangler etched belt, flannel top, and the smell of gasoline and thrill. The smell Jackie thinks about when she least wants to.

"Owens, what are doing here?" She hummed glancing at him, trying to wrap the small towel tighter around herself so that not a sliver of skin would show to the beautiful man.

"Came here to check on you, you seemed a little banged up from today," He explained, concern lacing his tone placing a hand on his waist.

"I'm fine, really it's no big deal just got a little too excited chasing, we all do it." Jackie grinned not breaking eye contact with the cowboy, clutching the white towel tightly and leaning on the door.

"Not as bloody as you, darlin'," Tyler smirked, taking in her dripping water, her red-brown hair dripping onto the worn floor.

"What do you want, Tyler?" She sighed, opening the door and allowing him to step into the room.

"To help you," He crossed his arms over his tight flannel shirt, "you always push people away like I wouldn't notice." The blond man grinned watching as she grabbed her clothes heading to the bathroom to change.

"I don't need help, Owens especially from you," Jackie grumbled, rolling her eyes and shutting the bathroom door forcing him to sit on the bed waiting for her.

She came out a couple of minutes later dressed in grey sweatpants and a white tank top, her hair still partly wet.

"Can I at least give you some first aid? You're bleeding," He shrugged, holding out a small first-aid kit from his pocket, grinning.

"Fine but that's it," Jacqueline sighed, crossing her arms and sitting on the bed a growing bruise blossoming on her cheek.

"See you aren't too hard to push entirely," Ty smirked, as she situated herself toward his face allowing him to run a soft yet calloused hand on her cheek.

A shaky sigh left Jackie's mouth, taking in every scar and tarnish on the Owens man not looking away from his mouth, the three beers hitting her system.

"You look like you wanna kiss me, Princess." He grinned, his mouth quirking to the right a bit not looking away from her busted lip.

"Oh, please I rather kiss Hunter and that's a push, sometimes." She hummed before flinching a bit at the antiseptic dabbed onto her lip.

"Ouch, sweetheart." Tyler chuckled, placing a small piece of gauze on the wound and a small bandage to keep it together.

"Sorry, not sorry," Jackie chuckled a bit before he handed her an ice pack to stop the swelling near the bruise, "you didn't have to do this, you know? I'm perfectly fine."

"You say that, but you need me darlin'," He crossed his arms with a smirk on his face, a tantalizing and arrogant look.

"I don't need you, you've been a pain in my ass since I could remember," She spat standing up and placing down the ice pack, heading to the slightly run-down mini fridge and bending down to grab a canned beer.

"Well, you got a nice one, how could I not?" Tyler grinned, following her, and came up behind her placing his hands on either side of Jackie, caging her in.

"Really? My ass? That's all you got?" The Harding girl smirked opening the can of beer and not flinching at all at his closeness.

"I got many surprises up my sleeve, Angelface." A soft scoff let her mouth at his words, rolling her eyes as Ty didn't look away from her lips.

"Please do share with the class, I am interested, Tornado Wrangler." Her southern drawl was like a siren call, his slightly chapped lips brushed against hers, their breaths mingling together.

"You gonna do it, Wrangler?" Jackie taunted, brushing her lips against his to push him to his limit.

"Gonna allow me, Lasso?" He smirked watching as she licked her bottom lip nearly ready to press his lips to hers when a knock sounded breaking the two apart.

She cleared her throat and headed to the door, not ready for the chaos she was walking into.
