Soundwave jolted awake. He panted lightly as he stared at his servos. He then looked around, still in the Autobot base. He had a terrible feeling, it hasn't gone away. He shifted and gripped at his chassis, his spark constantly in pain and crying out for his love. He needed to get her back! He looked at his wound, basically healed. He got up and went to the computer, despite how late it was and just did some research, remembering the first time he met Echo.

~flashback~
Soundwave walked around, a datapad in his servo as he was getting some fresh air, he was a fighter of course but sometimes he needed a little time to himself. He sat down against a wall and sighed, looking at the sky, shifting in place. Suddenly he heard some weird clicking, he looked around and got up to follow it. It led him out of the main part of the city and over to an abandoned building, looking inside he saw a bit of energon cubes laying around, half empty or still full. He frowned and lightly tapped on the glass "Hello...?" A gasp and a sound of someone scrambling away met his audios. He looked in but couldn't see anyone so he carefully entered the building. He looked around "I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to know if you need any help." The clicking continued softly and he decided to answer back with clicks of his own. This caused the bot making the sound to slowly scoot forward to look at who was answering them. He looked down and saw her. She looked exactly like him, but smaller and a femme. She gasped and shifted "D-d-don't hurt me..." She stammered. He bent down slowly and then say down in front of her "I won't hurt you, what are you doing out here alone?" "I-I-I live h-here." She stammered again, he figured that she wasn't much one for talking to others. "Why don't I take you were you can live in a healthier place?" He asked and she nodded but when he went to get up she leaped out and hugged him tightly "P-please, don't leave me!" He was shocked by the hug but hugged her back gently "Don't worry, I won't leave you, what is your name?" "Echo." She replied. "I'm Soundwave, nice to meet you." He said and looked down at her small, shaking form.
~end flashback~

Soundwave shifted as he looked back at the computer and what he was doing. He was still looking for the Nemesis that some how had fallen under their radar. He had to think, it was making him mad! Then he remembered, Echo still had his mask, the one he gave her to wear when her was broke. Perfect! He remembered that once someone had put a tracker into his mask, he turned it off but that was a loooong time ago and he knew exactly how to track it.

"Here you go Echo, I managed to get your- er...Soundwave's mask back that your wearing." Knockout said as he gave it to her. She thanked him and quickly put it back on. "Already I have a plan to get Echo out. Megatron is far away doing stupid that I told him would help you to bear his children, it's stupid but it worked obviously. Anyway, we need to get her out of here and now, while we still can." Breakdown picked her up, "I'll carry her through the groundbridge." Knockout and Breakdown headed to the groundbridge and type in some random coordinates far away from the Nemesis, it didn't matter where just as long as they got away from Megatron. The bridge opened and Breakdown headed through, Knockout followed and the bridge closed behind them. They were next to an ocean, a bunch of cliffs. Where were they??? They let their signals out to be picked up by Autobots.

Megatron was busy out picking flowers...screw this! But Knockout said on Earth if he wanted children he'd have to do all of this weird, stupid scrap. His scanner picked up three signals. He looked at them and realized it was Knockout, Breakdown, and his love Echo! They were going to get punishment for taking her out of the ship!!!  He transformed and sped off to get there before the Bots and Soundwave!

Soundwave picked up the signals on the computer and opened the groundbridge, some of the others awaken and followed him through, there was going to be a fight and only one way to even it out.
On the other side of the was Knockout, Breakdown, and Echo! Soundwave ran over and took her from Breaks and hugged her her close to him. She hugged him back "I missed you so much!" He didn't say anything but held her close to him, his spark was happy now that they were together, he wanted for so long to ask her to be his sparkmate but he wanted to wait until they were in a better place to actually bond but he could still ask her. She shifted and leaned against him "It hurt when you were away from me." He carefully placed a servo on her chassis "Don't worry I'm not going anywhere." He quickly noticed the bite marks and bruises, glaring under his mask and looked around "Let's get you back to base, where your safe." She nodded. They others had gave them their moment to get back together when St3v3 pointed to the sky "It's Megatron!!" They all jumped. Echo tried to hide. Optimus ran forward, since he was low to the ground, and tackled his brother. He wasn't going to allow him to hurt Echo any longer! They crashed down, Optimus jumped back up and Megatron transformed and jumped up glaring at his brother then to Soundwave then to Echo "What are you doing out of the ship!" She whimpered and hugged Soundwave tighter, with so much fear in her optics. Soundwave growled "She's not yours!!!"
