Based on the last Hobbit movie, with Fili. Spoilers if you haven't watched it yet.
Ok this might upset some people cos i know it upset me.
Fili kissed your forehead once more, then kissed your only slightly swollen stomach; you were carrying the heir of Durin. "Know this, my love." said Fili, looking at you with love filled eyes, gripping your hands in his rough ones. "Whatever happens on the battlefield this day, know that i will always love you, be it by your side or from the halls of my ancestors."
Tears are brimming in your y/e/c eyes. "You speak as if you may not return to me." you whisper, the fear evident in your shaking voice. Fili smiles sadly, and tucks a piece of your y/h/c hair behind your ear.
"I will do my damn best, love. But if anything does happen, look after our beautiful child."
"You have not seen our child, you mad dwarf." you retort, attempting to bring some humour to the otherwise sombre moment.
"Ah, but," he begins, gently smiling, "You are the mother. Of course she will be beautiful."
"So it is to be a princess then. My thanks for the foretelling, my love." you reply. You are no longer able to contain yourself, and throw yourself into your love's arms, and you hold each other. The moment is interrupted by a war horn.
"Hark, destiny calls." he frowns.
You help him on with his hauberk, and hand him his swords. "Fight well, my love." you tell him. He gives you one last passionate kiss, whispers "For you." and departs. You would have fought, but you had to protect the life growing inside of you. You await your fate with the women and children of Lake Town. There was the horrible attack from the goblins and their troll, but you survived with merely bruises and an odd scratch.
At last, the battle was over, and you make your way to the front of the crowd, desperate to see Fili, Kili, Thorin, Dwalin, Bilbo safe, but you were greeted with grieving faces and feared the worst. Gandalf hurriedly approached you, however, and said frantically "You must hurry with me to the mountain, y/n. I'm so sorry my dear. " Gandalf was always one to take seriously, and so you followed him, his words setting in you a sense of foreboding. As you entered Erebor, you knew something was gravely wrong. And when you entered the main chamber, you saw your worst fears had come to fruition. 3 bodies, on raised beds of stone. You recognised his golden hair immediately, and rushed to him. Dark red stained through the cloth beneath his raggedy armour, through which a blade had obviously torn. His pale face and blue lips only set in stone your bitter knowledge. You sink to your knees, look at the ceiling of the accursed mountain for which this was all for, and let loose an earth-shaking scream of grief.
Hi. Gods that was painful to write. What do you think everyone? Let me know in the comments.

May you rest in peace, sons of Durin.
