So, our first interviewee is none other than the sweet but sassy angel, Kavi

1. Hi Dear, so please introduce yourself. And can you share how you came across my Books?

Hiiii, I am Kavi, and I am 17. And I have been one of your readers for quite a long time, like a year or two. And I'm very excited for this interview.

2. Which of my Books have you read so far? And if I plan to write more, would you be interested in them?

For now, I have read Oberoi Queens, Tangled Destinies, Forever His, Found by Ruins, and Seven Elementals.

And yes, I would be interested in your upcoming books.

3. Who was your favourite character of my Books and what did you love most about them and their life?

That's a pretty hard question because I love almost every character in your books. But the characters I loved the most are Ruhi and Nitya from Oberoi Queens.

When it comes to Reyansh, Reyansh is playful, charismatic, and flirty, but I love how he never crosses the line. He loves Ruhi more than anything, but he never made her feel uncomfortable or forced her. And also, Ruhi is like fire; she is not someone that can be tamed, and Reyansh never tried to do that. He always stands by her no matter what. He doesn't fear the storm she is. He stands beside her, always. And I really admire that.

4. If you have to choose a partner from my fictional book, who would you choose and what is that one thing you just absolutely love about them?

Well, I will choose Reyansh. I already told you that I admire him a lot. So, other than those qualities I have already mentioned, I always love how he tries to make the people he loves happy. His sassy remarks... it's like he is everything you wanted in a partner.

He is not just a husband; sometimes it's like he is one of your best friends, sometimes your bodyguard, sometimes your partner in crime. He fits all of it perfectly. And I also love how protective he is and, of course, respectful.

5. What is that one scene from my Book that just has a special place in your heart, be it sad, happy, romantic, funny, or anything?

I loved the last scene of Oberoi Queens when it was Reyansh's birthday and everyone was there. It was such a heartfelt and wholesome moment.

6. What made you pick up my book for the first time? And what was your first impression when you started reading?

The description, I guess. My first impression? I found it funny, mysterious, and intriguing at the same time, I guess.

7. Which book of mine is your favorite and why?

Oberoi Queens. Mainly because of the characters, plot, and the morals of that story.

8. Did any character surprise you in a way you didn't expect?

Actually, someone did. And it's Ahaan. He was the ruthless mafia boss, but he is such a softie ❤️

9. Which character do you relate to the most and why? And was there a character you disliked initially but grew to love later?

The characters I relate to the most are Ruhi and Reyansh. Yes, both of them. Some of their personality traits and actions mirror mine, so I relate to them the most.

And the character that I disliked initially but grew to love later is Samaira. I didn't really have a specific reason not to like her; I just didn't. But as the story unfolded further, I realized she is not bad after all, and I do like her.

10. Which character's journey touched you the most emotionally and why?

Vihaan's. Like, he went through so many things. He loved Samaira so much, even when he was young, and even after he heard that she didn't like him back, he still loved her. His siblings hated the girl who made their brother's heart break, but he never did. His journey is really... ❤️

11. Which friendship or bond in the book is your favorite?

Of course, the friendship between Samaira, Ruhi, and Amyra snd I also love the friendship between Ahaan and Agastya.

12. Which couple from my books do you love the most?

Ruhi and Reyansh.

13. Did any scene leave you completely shocked or speechless? Or which plot twist did you never see coming?

That Samaira had equally divided shares between Ruhi, Amyra, and herself. And the fact that nothing happened to her when everyone thought she was dead and also that Ruhi is the leader of Blood Rose and the trio leads it.

And I forgot to add: Reyansh recognizing Ruhi when she was wearing a mask and only her eyes were visible.

14. If you could rewrite one scene, which would it be and how?

I would rewrite the scene of Ruhi asking Reyansh for a divorce because of his sake. It was so sad. I cried because of it. And their teary confession.

15. Was there a moment when you wanted to jump into the story and help a character?

Yes, actually, When Amyra ignored Ahaan during college and when Amyra roasted Ahaan. That even made Agastya laugh. She ate and left no crumbs. I really wanted to help Ahaan. Not with the argument, at least with emotional support, because he was getting roasted and he was helpless. It was really funny.

16. What is one lesson or message you took away from my books? Did any character inspire you in real life?

Nitya really inspired me a lot and one lesson is that you don't need a man to save you; you can do it by yourself.

17. Has any scene changed the way you think about relationships, family, or life?

Well, Oberoi Queens really changed the way I think about relationships, so I can't think of one single scene and the way those men love their women really raised my standards higher and made me realize that our bar was in hell before.

18. What emotion do my books make you feel most strongly? Which book world would you love to live in?

The emotion I feel the most strongly whenever I read the books is giddy because the characters... 🫣 They are so fine.

And the book world? It's either Oberoi Queens or Tangled Destinies Or Both. I want both worlds.

19. What makes my books different from other books in the genre?

First, I love the fact that most of your books are a mix of dark romance and soft romance. I really love that about your books and I also love how you don't glorify toxic, obsessive behavior and abuse in the name of love and I also love the fact that most of the characters in your books are perfectly imperfect. Like, they are not perfectly perfect. They have their own flaws and insecurities, which make them feel far more real than most characters in other stories.

20. What is one thing you hope to see in my future books? Or which trope or theme would you love me to explore more?

I would really love to see an enemies-to-lovers one.

Wait, I would also love to see an academic rivals-to-lovers one.

Bonus Question

If you could give me one piece of feedback as an author, what would it be? Or what would you like to say directly to me as an author?

I'm not sure if this is a good answer or not, but... I have seen many people write, and they always say, "Write a book that your audience wants," but my advice is that you should write a book that you yourself want to read.

Write for yourself, not others and when it comes to feedback on your books, don't change an entire scene just because someone commented that they don't like it. Trust yourself as the author to shape the characters.
