After carrying the buckets full of water to the designated areas, we all started to help out the professors. I, along with the others, helped them out by preparing the veggies in a proper manner. While some were warming up the water that we had collected. There were also preparations going on for a bon-fire and so, everyone was quite hyped about it.

After the dinner was ready, plates were handed to all the students, who were to serve themselves on their own, that is, the food was laid out in a buffet system. The dinner comprised of rice along with some curry. Earlier there had been a voting for what to be served for the dinner and then everyone agreed that camping called for curry and so the teachers prepped up some.

After the dinner was eaten, it was time for the dishes to be washed. When the professors asked for volunteers, no one stood their hands up. So, the professors just randomly selected some students. And as usual, I was selected along with none other than, sigh, Louis.

Since the professors had chosen us to do the job, we couldn't even refute. I was kinda uncomfortable with the set up but Louis seemed totally nonchalant about it and that added to my irritation. I mean, here I was struggling in keeping my emotions under check, while he was chilled and didn't show any sort of emotion on his face or even through his body language.

Both of us carried the utensils near the washing area set up by the others, and then without any exchange of words, we started to wash the dishes along with the other utensils. The silence went on for a couple of minutes along with the hostility being displayed by Louis. "He is now slowly showing his true colours", I thought to myself. As I had perceived, he definitely hated me for some reason but I didn't know what that was. The curiosity and anxiety was engulfing me, so with no other choice in hand, I decided to take the initiative to ask him.

After washing the utensils and placing the same to dry, on a table, we were heading back to where the bon fire was going on. But before that, I needed to ask him, I definitely needed to. So, I was about to call out his name to stop him, but before that, someone had interrupted, it was MG. He had come to urge us to hurry up since everyone else now having fun near the bon-fire, playing games and everything.

Damn it... He just had to come at the moment when I was about to ask Louis. I couldn't ask anymore as I had missed the timing. So, I just thought of asking him about the same another time, but back then I didn't know that the timing would arrive so early.

After having fun for a couple of minutes near the bon-fire, the professors came in to interrupt and told us to sleep as we all needed to wake up early. Some were reluctant to head to bed so early in the night, but with the air becoming colder as time passed and the darkness of the night creeping in slowly, everyone just called it a night and went back to their assigned locations.

The next morning, everyone was woken up around 5:00 AM. For a person like me, who kept on sleeping till the last minute, that was too early. So, I just kept on sleeping disregarding the attempts of my fellow pals to wake me up. When I finally woke up, everyone was already ready with their necessary gears and dress code. When I looked at Emma nervously, I saw that she was standing by crossing her arms, one over the other, as if waiting for me to hurry up. So, I just hurriedly freshened up, took my gears and stood in the queue.

The professors were giving instructions as to what we were supposed to do for the class. I couldn't make out most of it, but it seemed like, there would be some obstacles in the forest that were prepared by them earlier and then we would need to tackle them by making use of defence spells while the vamps were to take advantage of their special physic. The professors strictly prohibited any tussle between students and then specified that this was not a competition at all, so no one should compete with the others. But it seemed everyone were really competitive, as some of the students were warming themselves up.

Emma also added a crucial info at the end but due to my "still not completely awake self", I couldn't make out what she said. But I just relaxed myself as with the condition of being able to use our powers, this class would be quite easy or so I thought.

It was at around 7:00 AM, when the professors finally signalled us to go and we all headed towards the forest. The witch faction had decided to enter the forest together, but Alyssa Chang and her so-called followers suddenly stopped mid-way, turned around and then Alyssa spoke up.

If we stick to your so-called cautious approach, it would probably take a million years to cross this forest. So, me and my girls have decided to go on our own. Don't try to stop me because I don't give a damn about you small fries. Anyways, happy tackling. Let's go, girls!

And they went off. To be honest, on one wanted to stop her. In fact, many were relieved. I mean, Alyssa Chang was infamous for being a bully. And so, me along with the others continued with out endeavour. But halfway through the forest, almost majority of the witches went their own way, such that, only me, Hope and the Saltsman sisters were now travelling together.

So far, we encountered only small obstacles which were easy to tackle with simple defence spells, but as Hope reminded us, that Emma had mentioned about the obstacles becoming harder as we approached the deepest parts of the forest, and so, we were going forward in a really cautious manner.

After a couple more of walking, all of us decided to take a break. According to the sun's direction, it seemed it was already past noon and so, we really needed to hurry up so as to not lose our way in the dark. After resting for a bit near a stream, we filled our bottles with the water and started to walk again.

Since the night was approaching, we really needed to think about the area where we would spent the night. As it was taking up too much time to walk in a group of four people, we decided to split up in groups of two. One pair was to search for food while the other was to search for a place to spent the night. I paired up with Lizzie, while Hope and Jo paired up together.

We nodded to each other after deciding on a sign to direct the other pair to our location and then we headed towards our respective directions. Lizzie and me, went out in search of a location. The search, as expected, was not a silent one as Lizzie, who was known as the gossip queen, continuosly kept on talking about various topics, while occasionally, she would get scared by sounds made by the wild animals such that she would closen up to me and go silent.

It seemed it had been an hour or so, when, suddenly I saw a cave, not too far from us and so, I rushed towards it to ensure if it was safe, Lizzie repeatedly screamed towards me to slow down but I just headed towards the cave as the long hours of walking was taking a toll on my body and so I definitely needed a place to rest my body and lie down.

When I reached the cave, I saw that it was empty. I was so excited that I didn't even notice the silence that had engulfed me for a few minutes now. I turned around to see where Lizzie was, and to my surprise, she was nowhere to be found. I searched frantically in an out-if breath state but I couldn't find her. My mind was going blank and I knew that I needed to do something but since it was already evening and the sun had set, I needed to take shelter now.

So, I started a fire by burning some twigs, using the spell Incendia, that I had collected from the nearby bushes. I ate whatever was left of the lunch that was there in my bag and after that I just curled up my body and went to sleep. Before that I put up a protective barrier on the entrance of the cave so that no wild animals would attack me in my sleep. It had started to drizzle a little and so, I went off to sleep inside the sleeping bag wearing my jacket underneath.
